In Barbaria, men are battle-hardened warriors, with the right to own everything they are strong enough to take, and women are their submissive and obedient property. A simple, natural, unchangeable truth that every Barbarian lives by.
Apparently, though, not all societies believe this. Some actually believe that women are equal to men. That women can be scholars and speakers, can be council leaders, can even have a say in their own marriages and fates!
The Matriarchal East follows one such Barbarius warrior who, needless to say, disagrees wholeheartedly, and–alongside his army of raiding barbarians–gladly puts the Orikai women back in their place.
