this was a free amazon download. the three stars are for the first story in the set. the first story was by robert j walker and was pretty good. that said, by the time i got to page 28 it was clear that this author did not have a decent proof reader or copy editor. a woman was referred to as "him", there were missing words, and other irresponsible mistakes. constant - i mean CONSTANT - used of "ain't" and "kid" got annoying after the first couple pages. numerous times the author got mixed up as to who was talking and whether or not it was a male or a female. again, that said, it was a good story. the second story in this set was by marie wilkins and i flatly refuse to spend time on any of her work. she seems to write from a purchased outline and her work is not worth my time. so, the second story received zero stars.
