It all began when Planet Earth suddenly started spinning way too fast! Before anyone knew what was happening, seven kids were mysteriously swept away from summer camp to File Island -- where no humans had ever been before. Think that's weird? Well, it gets even weirder. Because this island isn't even on Earth. It is somewhere called the Digital World, and its only residents are the sometimes cute, sometimes ferocious Digital Monsters-Digimons. Yeah, they may look strange, but Tai, Izzy, Sora, and the rest of the gang are sure glad they've got their Digimon pals around to protect them. From what, you ask? You've got to read it to believe it!
Příběh kopíruje děj seriálu, vhodné čtení pro první stupeň díky svižnosti, velkým písmenům a jednoduchým popisům.
This is, of course the first book in a series which starts the story off with Tai and the rest of the gang at summer camp. This book is for the avid Digimon fan only as every story of the Digimon starts with the same story line. They all seem to follow the same plot. Your child or even yourself will have read the story fourfold already. four stars all the same.
When 7 kids were in camp they saw a aurora which they shouldn't see in Japan. When they noticed they were somewhere different from the camp. It is a heart warming story of the friendship with Digimons and the chosen children.
I think my 6-year-old would like anything ending in -mon. Digimon, Pokémon, Rillakomon. He was completely enthralled. It's basically the first few episodes of the original cartoon in novel form.
