This collection of short stories answers these questions, as well as many more, and the tales have one thing in a twist before the end.
Every short story in this collection is like a little time bomb stuffed with mystery. The building suspense held this reader’s attention like a strong rope of twisted threads, exploding with a surprise ending. The very first one—An Innocent Man—made me open my mouth and stop breathing for a long, very long moment as I reached the end, so astounding it was. There are eleven of them, everyone is unique. You may think you have an idea how the story will end, but in my case, it always was a WOW! moment. And . . . each of the short stories is not for entertainment only: they carry a lesson. I immersed myself in every one. Some are dealing with subjects familiar to modern readers, others are imaginary. What a vision the writer must have to construct all these tales! But perhaps we learned to believe somwthing couldn’t be real, even though it exists? It’s up to you to find it out for yourself. Daunting twists. The author’s compelling prose. I wanted to read quickly to get to the next story but restrained myself: every episode needed to be processed, enjoyed in full, every character explored—they were alive for me, vivid in their beauty . . . or evilness. I sometimes caught myself on my heart pounding. Often to reach the ending was the most desired feeling. All in all, this is an enjoyable and exciting read, and I have no hesitation in recommending it. I found this book to be so special. Kudos to the author!
