I’m Aria, a wolf shifter who made the ultimate sacrifice to save my mates. Cut off from their bonds, I was thrown into a dungeon cloaked in dark magic and bound by unbreakable wards. Alone. Tortured. Slowly unraveling.
Just when I was forced to the altar and prepared to give everything to protect Edmund, fate intervened. Zachariah, a powerful dragon shifter and my fated mate, tore through the darkness to set me free. But freedom came with new mysterious bonds, supernatural politics, and the deep, lingering scars of captivity.
While healing in the sacred mountains of Egypt, I found more than peace. I’m reunited with my mates and discovered another soul tied to Malakai, Zachariah’s twin. Another dragon. Another mate. Another piece of myself I didn’t know was missing.
Now, I stand at a crossroads. Return to Washington and rise as Luna of my pack or stay hidden in Egypt, where it’s safe. But when an old enemy escapes and my best friend is taken, the choice is easy.
I won’t run. I won’t break. I will rise.
The battle ahead will test every part of me. My strength, my heart, and the fragile, beautiful bonds that could save everything or destroy it all.
In a world of dragons, wolves, and ancient magic, I’ll either claim my birthright or burn trying.
This is a why choose romance, meaning our main female character doesn’t need to choose between her mates. This book contains violence, mental health awareness, swearing, and explicit scenes. This book is recommended for anyone 18 years and older.
Wow what a conclusion to aria and the guys story… Some good twists and turn… this book followed on from book one perfectly in my opinion and grew to a great conclusion of the story! Sunny introduced some great new characters within the plot! Prefect amount of spice along side the main plot :) I loved how everyone worked through their emotions on different levels with in the main pack making for a better understand of the characters and understand their actions more!
Highly recommend reading this duet and can not wait to see what sunny does next :)
Spoilers: This book begins with the obligatory captivity and torture scenes, then moves on to new mates, dragons of course. The plot basically evolves around sex and cooking. Again it just seems to try too hard. Every trope in the genre is included as if there was a check list. Which 18 year old virgin has a safe word? Whip? This is also a poly amorous harem, with the males involved with each other. The villain is dispatched in ten minutes at the end. Numerous misused words, but at least apostrophes are mostly correct.
This was so good! The suspense at times was killer. My jaw dropped. I love the protectiveness of the men in this book. We love a good book boyfriend 😍.
So happy we got an epilogue & an additional blurb 5 years later!
I really wanted to like this more than I did. This book felt like mostly steam and food with a little fighting at the end. I started skimming through it honestly, which I absolutely hate. The final showdown was so short it felt very anti-climactic.
