A Thrilling Ride from Start to Finish!

Chris Sherrill's "Even Steven" is a masterclass in suspense. From the very first page, I was completely hooked, drawn into a web of mystery and intrigue that refused to let me go. This isn't just another murder mystery; it's a meticulously crafted thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end.

Sherrill's writing is sharp and engaging, creating a palpable sense of tension that builds with each chapter. The characters are complex and compelling, each with their own secrets and motivations, adding layers of depth to the already gripping plot. The pacing is perfect, balancing moments of intense action with quieter, more introspective scenes that allow the reader to truly connect with the story.

What truly sets "Even Steven" apart is its ability to maintain a sense of suspense without resorting to cheap tricks or predictable twists. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Sherrill would throw in another curveball, keeping me on the edge of my seat. I found myself completely immersed in the story, unable to put the book down until I reached the satisfying, albeit surprising, conclusion.

If you're a fan of suspenseful murder mysteries that will keep you captivated from start to finish, "Even Steven" is an absolute must-read. Chris Sherrill has delivered a truly exceptional thriller that I won't soon forget. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this book! Sherrill’s attention to detail is marvelous, his descriptions of Nashville atmospheric. Brought back fond memories of James Lee Burke. Well paced with great characters and plenty of plot twists. Looking forward to his next mystery!
