Second in the Drakon series with a great mix of creative dialog and mythology. I have enjoyed the series very much. It does take a little more effort to read and digest some of the explanations of what is going on (the how & whys things happen) versus in his Music of the Soul Series (which I love and you shouldn’t miss any of those either), however, it is definitely worth the read and to continue following the main characters (Myra and Quin) and their development. There are some questions left unanswered, but leaves open for another book to continue the larger story along. Only reason rated 4 instead of 5, is I had to reread parts to fully understand the logic of why/how things were happening regarding the dragons and historical reasoning for certain things happening.

Not sure if this was a conclusion to this series or not with that ending? but I'm okay with this finish
