Brought To His Knees was a wonderful collection of stories with a little something for everyone. One PNR shifter story, three cowboy stories, a few with kink and to my delight, two stories featuring female CEOs in their thirties. While the majority of them were M/F, there were two menage stories and one M/M. If you don't like graphic sex and language, this collection won't be for you. Out of the eleven stories, three of them stood out to me, topped my list for most memorable, and I'd definitely re-read them again: A Cowboy's Seduction by Cynthia D'Alba, Beneath the Pages by Jennifer Kacey, and Whipped by Sabrina York. A lot of the authors were new to me, but this was a great introduction to them. I highly recommend this collection. Detailed review of each story, save one, below.

Dark Wolf Enterprises by A.M. Griffin

I liked this plot a lot and wish a little more time could have been spent fleshing it out. Trudy, the heroine, was quirky and confident; something I don't come across often. I thought they were a cute couple, but Kristof was cuter in wolf form. The times he was in human form, he was mercurial. The sexual chemistry was present, but in regards to love, I felt it came more from imprinting. Regardless, some of their light-hearted, cheeky banter made me chuckle. The sex didn't overshadow the story, there was after all only one love scene. Trudy was assertive, and despite facing rejection immediately after, she didn't crumble. Good for her. I wonder if this will become a series because the ending was a HFN, and it wasn't clear who had made themselves an enemy of the Farkas brothers. Despite the story being a bit rushed, it was a fun read, and I'd like to read more about these brothers.

Building Bridges was about two people running from the chaos of their lives and learning through each other that life changes didn't have to be a bad thing.

I liked them as a couple and the chemistry. The story was paced well giving them a chance to talk and flirt before the no-strings attached arrangement. He was a wonderful hero who wasn't afraid of pushing her to face her fears, even if it had the potential of running her off for good. The sweetest part was the end, and his words of wisdom for her. His confidence and caring personality made him swoon-worthy.

Did she know how hard he was for her? How he wanted to bend her over the hood of his truck and mount her from behind like a stallion?

This one is probably the novel as it was fifteen chapters long. I'm not big on cops and ex-gang members as love interests, and just didn't find myself getting into this, so I decided to put it aside for the time being. I might revisit it another time.

So far this is my favorite story, and it had everything I love in my romances – confident, mature adults, easy banter, realistic dialogues, the absence of (over) dramatic excuses to part ways, easy-going attitudes, the ability to communicate, and scorching hot sex. The author nailed it! Brock and Natalie made a perfect couple. He was a hard-working cowboy who had been raising his three siblings since he was eighteen. He made huge sacrifices for them, and in return, they sent him on a much needed and well-deserved vacation. Natalie was a tax accountant. That alone warranted a vacation. Their connection and happiness was so infectious, I had a perma-smile throughout the entire story. The setting was so well described, I felt like I was right there, or I wanted to be. This was so memorable and I'll definitely reach for it again for a re-read, or multiple re-reads. I can't wait to read more in this series.

I'm a sucker for friends to lovers stories because there's history and a foundation prepared to build on. Six years in this case. Taylor was a somewhat awkward heroine. Though in her early twenties, she often sounded just a wee bit desperate and a little immature at times. It may have something to do with her being a tomboy, one of the guys type of girl who preferred tinkering with cars, and playing football or softball with the guys. Physically, she wasn't the typical curvacious babe, but an athletic type which was one of her insecurities. I chuckled through the beginning when she recounted the ways to learn the best ways of seducing Sin by “watching that trilogy of pornos” (I'm going to take a wild guess that the author was talking about the Twilight Saga X-Rated movies) and then trying to recreate them in person. As for Sin, if you love a dirty-talking hero, you'll gobble this story up. I never saw his secret coming, but the reasons why he hid it made him even more endearing. I thought Taylor could have talked to him about it instead of running away considering she had complained later on that their long friendship meant telling each other everything.

This was certainly different. The idea to have this couple engage in silent, sexual encounters was new to me. While I was intrigued, I had a hard time believing their connection because for the most part, it was purely physical. So when the hero would talk about Elsie/Ellie to anyone else, I questioned his assessment of her because great oral tells you more about their hygiene than about the kind of person they are. Because of Brody's superstitions, they never had actual sex, except in dreams. Then there was the Cameron family secret involving all the brother's and one of their wives. Brody was afraid she'd find out from someone other than him, so I was surprised she didn't ask him after she found out from someone else.

Despite the unusual unfolding of this relationship and non-verbal communication, there was something sweet about it. And my word, this author can write the hell out of sex scenes! They were some of the hottest I've come across recently. If you love dirty talking heroes, how about a filthy cowboy? I don't think reading about the other brothers would be for me, but this was a scorcher and therefore a keeper.

This couple had chemistry to boot, and I bought it because of the established history when the story opened, all the way through their reunion with sparks flying every which way. Acacia Blair was a powerful and confident woman in her professional life, but she had typical vulnerabilities and insecurities that crept to the surface when it came to her private life. I liked that hard/soft mix. Kellan Radigan was pure male, oozing with confidence and sex appeal. He used those traits to his advantage, but underneath his relentless pursuit of her, I felt that he truly cared about her and wasn't just trying to get her out of his system. Though this story was mainly M/F, Kellan did invite his two best friends/bodyguards, Ed and Javier, to watch/participate. They touched but didn't have sex with her. I heard this story will be released on its own at a later time and may be expanded (especially to include the scene that was cheekily cut off at the end).

This was such a sweet and sexy story. Andrea's (Andi) BFF since high-school dragged her on a BDSM themed (based on THAT book) cruise to play cupid. The story and flow was tight – the pacing was good with events playing over a five day period, and the characters were likeable. Told from the first person POV, I felt that Andi conveyed the emptiness of her life, and the depth of her love for Jonah back in the day with enough conviction that I believed the instant chemistry at their reunion. The same applied to Jonah.

What I really liked was their willingness and ability to communicate and put their feelings out there in the beginning. Also, this heroine didn't take the chance to jump into bed mere minutes after seeing him again. Taking time to talk and think first was a very mature thing to do. That didn't stop them from still have a few sexy times before the big finale. Seeing as she was on a themed cruise, it was actually quite funny to see Jonah try to be dominant thinking it was what she wanted. To both their surprise, they liked it a lot. A certain incident at the end gave them an excuse to finally seal their fates. Despite it being a little corny, it was very romantic.

“You like that,” he observed. “Remember, I’m a doctor. I understand the human body. I know how far I can take it and where the pleasure centers are located.”

Whipped, what an apt title for this story, and not in the kinky sense. If any story thus far epitomized the theme of this box set, this was the one. Tina had been in love with her brother's best friend since childhood. He never noticed her then, and as an adult, the code among the team was NOT to mess with anyone's sister. When he mistook her for the hooker hired for her brother's bachelor party, she saw a chance to finally be with him. Especially after he detailed all the wicked and delicious things he wanted to do to her.

Tina was sexy and full of sass. Dane was mercurial, and hot as hell in the bedroom. The one night stand sex was so hot, even when she turned the tables on him! But the best part of the story unfolded the morning after when he saw her again and realized who he had done naughty things with. His mood swings between wanting her but forcing himself to stay away was hilarious, especially because she didn't give him an inch of space. I liked that she went after what she wanted. His fear of his best friend was funny and endearing which made the confrontation scene and the dialogue laugh out loud funny. This was a great read that kept me glued to the events. Loved the epilogue!

She pumped him with one devilish hand while, with the other, she caressed that sensitive spot beneath his balls, and lower. Dane seized as she toyed with his asshole. “Bambi …” A warning tone, but probably not very effective, twined, as it was, with a laugh.

Amidst the sweeter, romantic stories in this collection came this darker contribution steeped in heartache. Mavis Tanem was a very intense character. As CEO of her own company, she had that no-nonsense air about her and a quick temper. As the story unfolded we learned the reason for their “brokenness”. My heart broke for her when the full scope of her past came to light. Bowie Sinet had equal parts anger and desire directed at her, understandably so. Despite the lobbing of barbs and heated words, I felt the underlying passion between them that time and distance hadn't been able to erase. They worked well together in their efforts to hunt down her missing brother, and that closeness served to help them reconnect. I think what kept me from giving this four stars was Mavis. While she did heal being around Bowie, she was a little to intense throughout, waving between being a good lover and just being harsh. Her quick turnaround to stay came a bit quickly when all she had wanted to do was find her brother and leave. But I was glad they got their happy ending.

Talk about scorching hot. This threesome really knew how to turn up the heat, and it was a great ending to a fabulous collection. I didn't start out liking Mercy all that much in the beginning. For her twenty-six years, she really was the wide-eyed innocent that Travis and Dutch thought her to be. Her attempts to seduce them was a little corny and over the top, from dressing provocatively to sucking on a popsicle in front of them. At least she was bold enough to push through her insecurities to get what she wanted. I ended up liking her the more comfortable she grew around them. Out of the two men, I liked Travis the most. He was surprisingly astute and easily saw through Mercy. He was the strongest advocate for not wanting to hurt her, always trying to help and please her. It was very endearing.

The sex was very hot, from the typical menage to a bit of kink and the western version of Nyotaimori, except with an all American grill out. My only peeve was with her first time having anal sex. No preparation and lube is a big no-no in my book. It wouldn't have killed the sexiness of the moment to care for her in that way, but that's just my opinion. Over the span of a month, I believed the chemistry, but the end was a slightly rushed declaration of feelings with an epilogue that told more than showed them opening up to her. Regardless, this was still a hot little read.

This is by far the best boxed set I've ever read and I've read a lot of them! I have never given so many 4.5 to 5 star ratings on the short stories that make up a boxed set. These authors all deserve to be commended for the well-written, erotic, and sweet stories that made up this collection. There is not one story in this series that I wouldn't recommend to anyone that loves a hot romance.

I have pretty much gotten away from reading shifter romance. This book made me regret that decision and miss the hot alpha world of a wolf pack. I loved Kristof and Trudy!

Kristoff suspects a member of their trusted pack is embezzling from them. With no other choice he hires an outside human accountant to go through the records and confirm his worst fear. What follows is a series of horrific events that throws Kristoff right into Trudy's life. He vows to keep her safe, even from himself. This proves to be harder than he thought considering Trudy is his soul-mate.

I loved Trudy! The strength and resilience she showed in the face of all that was happening around her was so fun to read. I love when an author doesn't create unnecessary drama and lets the story speak for itself. Kudos, Ms. Griffin. I can't wait to read more on this pack and the hot brothers of Dark Wolf Enterprises.

Building Bridges is a story of facing your fears and chasing your dreams. In William and Molly's story we get both ends of that spectrum.

William chased his dream only to find it more than he had bargained for. Who says you can't go home, again? He made his mark and now he's back to his roots and basing his future on the ranch that his grandpa left him.

Molly trusted her heart to the wrong guy and learned the hard way to never trust a man. Sadly, that experience has scared her away from putting herself out there for anything including her dream to become a vet.

Although, the story between William and Molly was sweet there were times I didn't feel a true connection between the couple. That is until they took their clothes off. Then the air crackled with the sizzle between these two. Overall, I enjoyed this story and would give this author another read.

**This story is m/m**

I wasn't sure about Three Strikes in the beginning. It was really hard for me to follow at first. I think it was the issue of the mention of the Jamaican posse, the Jamaican slang and the different references that I wouldn't know living in the States. However, once I figured it out and gave it a chance I loved the story.

Vincent is a Jamaican immigrant living in England. He's made lots of mistakes and paid a dear price for it. But, now his life is on the straight and narrow and he couldn't be happier. Well, maybe he could be happier, but the thought of having a good man in his life is just a dream - a dream that he knows can't come true.

Kyle has to be in the closet. As a police Sargent all he's ever worked for would be destroyed if he wasn't. He's okay with it since a forever after kind of love is not anything he wants. At least he thinks it's not anything he wants. Enter Vincent and poor Kyle's life is turned upside down - in a really great way.

Vincent and Kyle were sexy, sweet, and loving. Reading the different experiences that each man had when dealing with their sexuality was heartbreaking and bittersweet. These men were both so strong and wonderful! I am so glad they found each other.

A Cowboy's Seduction is a fabulous, hot & spicy summer read. On second thought, it would make a great winter read, as well. Sure to warm you up.

Natalie Diamond is tired of the cold and snow. Thank goodness she'll be leaving soon to visit her parents in Florida for the Christmas holiday. At least that was her plans until she gets a call from her mom saying they are going on a once-in-a-lifetime cruise, but not to worry her gift is in the mail. That gift just happens to be an all expense paid trip to a Caribbean Island.

But, when his brothers and sister give him an already booked and paid for Caribbean vacation Brock isn't sure he can accept it. He can't leave the ranch. However, his brothers convince him none too gently that they can cover for him while he's gone.

When Brock and Natalie meet on their exclusive vacation sparks fly. The connection between this couple is as heartwarming as it is hot! I loved the Wade siblings and would love to read more about them. Hint-hint, Ms. D'Alba.

Born To Sin is my first read by Danica Avet and I can honestly say she has a fan for life. I seriously want to go out and buy any title I can find that was written by this author. If you love a sizzling hot story with an equally alpha, hot guy then this is the book for you.

Sinclair "Sin" Rivas does not do relationships which is why he has kept his distance from the super tempting mechanic that works with him. She's the closest thing he has to a real friend and the thought of losing that just because he can't control himself doesn't sit well.

Taylor Guillory is one of the guys. She always has been and is comfortable with that distinction. But, she's had it with lusting after the infamously sexy Sin Rivas and she's got a plan to go after him. Yes, there is a chance it could ruin their friendship, but she's willing to take that chance for one night of passion. She just secretly hopes she can have it all.

I can not believe how much heat and emotion was packed into this short story. The characters were well developed, the background and story was so well written, and the dialogue was fun! And did I mention the sex was smoking hot?

I definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves a hot read with a great story and even better characters.

The Sound Of Your Name is best if read after Hold Me Together (Cameron Ranch #1). Although, you can read it alone it left me a little confused and floundering in parts. I think my rating and enjoyment level would have been much higher if read in order.

Brody Cameron wants nothing more than to help save the family ranch. Sadly, he's been in a slump and hasn't ridden a bull in far too long. That is until he meets his little good luck charm. The problem is he wants more than their little quickies, but he doesn't want to risk the riding streak he has going on.

Ellie doesn't like fooling those around her, especially now that she's starting to really feel like a part of the crowd. But, she has to continue hiding her identity to get the story she needs for the city magazine she works for. Now, she has even more at stake. She's done the unthinkable and lost her heart to a cowboy.

I found the instant acceptance of being used odd. Ellie was supposed to be a worldly, city girl. Yet, she had no problem with the arrangement. It just didn't work for me. I liked the secondary characters a lot and would probably give more books in this series a chance. But, I would read the first book before.

Holy Hannah, this book is hot! Hot with a capital HOT! I would love to have read more of this story, but I'm not positive my Kindle wouldn't melt, so maybe it's a good thing it was a short story. This book has it all - a hot, alpha hero and 2 equally hot and sexy bodyguards that are perfectly happy to join in.

Acacia is used to living amongst the rich and famous. She's done it her whole life. And now that her beloved father has died she has inherited the magazine and will continue on with the life she has been trained to live. She enjoys her life for the most part, even if it does get the best of her at times. Tonight is one of those nights. Her house is filled with the rich and famous and she's just too tired to deal with the fake smiles and small talk. Even worse, she is on edge scared he'll show up. Or maybe scared that he won't.

Radigan is used to the world bending to his will. It's kind of a side effect of fame. He can have what he wants, when he wants it and he uses that to his advantage a lot! One night is he what he gives and then he moves on to the buffet of women that flock to him. That's always worked for him until one night with Acacia. He hasn't been able to get her off his mind ever since. He's a man that knows what he wants and isn't afraid to act on it. Now that he's set his mind to making Acacia his she doesn't stand a chance.

The characters in this book were more than just hot. They were well-written and enjoyable. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.

Cruising For Love is a story of second chances. This story was sweet and funny all wrapped into one.

Andi and Jonah were high school sweethearts. Between the distance, college, and med school both parties decided to go their separate ways rather than try to hang on and lose it all, anyways. A decade later they find themselves thrown together, with a little help from Andi's best friend, on a cruise ship.

Jonah is a physician on a cruise line and for the most part he likes it. He tried the traditional route, but due to some trouble, not of his doing, he decided to salvage his reputation and move on. Seeing Andi again was never a thought he entertained, but now that she's back in his life he'll stop at nothing to win her back.

Andi can not believe that her friend tricked her into going on a Whipped theme cruise. At least she has the option to not join in on the bdsm filled festivities. It's not that the thought doesn't interest her, but not with a random guy that she just met. Of course, with her luck she just happens to get hurt in a demonstration and comes face to face with the teenage love of her life. She's mortified that he'll think she is into the whole random theme, but is even more embarrassed to set him straight.

Between lack of communication and the theme of the cruise you get a few chuckles when reading this story. The two main characters were sweet and really very human. I enjoyed this story quite a bit.

Oh my goodness! I loved, loved, loved this story! The sex was off-the-charts hot! And I mean HOT! The characters were witty and so entertaining.

Dane can't believe that his best friend and Ranger team member is tying the knot! He shudders at the thought of ever settling down to one woman for the rest of his life. Heck, the bachelor party is even a bust since Cody won't allow strippers or hookers - his head almost exploded when they told him they had already paid for a hooker and she was on her way. Claiming a headache Dane heads out early only to run into the hooker in the elevator. She's all kinds of hot and Dane figures why let her go to waste, so he invites her back to his room for an amazingly sexy, hot, night of no-holds barred loving.

Tina Marie can't believe her luck when she stumbles upon her childhood crush in the elevator. As the best friend of her brother she knew she would see him, but not this soon. Quickly, realizing that he doesn't remember her hurts, but when he mistakes her for a hooker she decides she is all in for the chance she's always wanted. And boy does she get what she's always wanted and more. She expected Dane to be a take-charge kind of guy, but he's more than that. His dominant side is sizzling and Tina Marie knows she'll stop at nothing to get more.

As always, Ms. York's humor and witty writing is on full display. I honestly don't think she could not write a story that doesn't leave me in awe of her slightly sarcastic, yet always smartly written style. I bow to the master.

Tina Marie to her brother "I can never have sex? Never have a man? A husband? Never have babies? Just because we once exited the same vagina" See? Hilariously sarcastic.

When Dane learns that he not only slept with his best friend's baby sister, but tied her up and spanked her, too I laughed out loud. His reaction and the reaction of all of the guys when they learn she is Cody's sister is hilarious. Tina Marie is nothing if not tough and outgoing. I loved how she didn't take any crap from Dane or Cody.

Chief Sin by Sayde Grace

Chief Sin was a bittersweet love story that made my heart ache a little for what the characters were going through. All of the characters, not just the primary characters, are going through life-changing events and this story got very deep. Not that that's a bad thing at all. The story was a really good read and well-written.

Chief Bowie Sinet lost the love of his life many years ago. She never returned, so he's never had the chance to find out what made her leave without a goodbye. But, now she's coming back and he will have his chance to get it out in the open. That's assuming that he can keep his clothes on and not make the same mistakes.

Mavis escaped her hometown and has refused to go back. That is until she gets the call that her twin is missing and she can't just ignore that. She just hopes this isn't another trick from her brother and his best friend, who just happens to be the sibling of her high school love, to get her back in town and in the path of Bowie.

What follows is a hunt for a troubled man that has set out to do the right thing and to find his own peace, a visit down memory lane that is very bumpy at best, and a chance at the happiness that was stolen from Bowie and Mavis at way too young of an age.

Holy hot threesome! This book was amazing! I loved the characters in this story. They all had very different personalities, strengths, and backgrounds, yet I can't imagine their lives turning out any other way than they did by the end of this story.

Dutch and Travis have shared many women over the years that they've been friends. Their life has always worked well for them. Love 'em and leave 'em whether that be together with the same chick or one on one. The only hard core rule that they held was no commitment and they made always made this clear to the woman of the hour. But, with Mercy things are different. She's off limits!

Mercy has always wanted Dutch and Travis. She's heard of their escapades, so she knows this idea has some merit. But, they just never treat her as anything more than a friend. She has decided to take matters into her hands and to do that she appeals to their kindness begging for the cook position open at the bar that Travis owns and to move into the extra cabin they have available. She needs them to see her as a capable woman.

Our badboy wolf Kristof is also not willing to claim Trudy, she's human and too fragile to be his mate., if only the need to protect her was not so strong, his resolve crumbles and he has one mission and one only, to protect Trudy from those who are out to hurt her and most of all from himself. A very hot, hot read , about how there is always a way to fit into anyone's world all you need is love. ~~ Just one taste has him begging for more

The second read Building Bridges by Amy Ruttan, vet tech Molly has the hots for new rancher William. William is a bit of a lone wolf, and mostly keeps to himself but even this is not enough to discourage Molly for taking a chance to enjoy a stolen moment of passion in his arms, but as with all dreams she needs to leave behind everything she has ever known, and she's not so sure she wants to give it all up for William, and William only has one thing on his mind, to be left alone in the Alberta hills. So does she take one magic night or give it all up for him. Decision time comes when they are trapped together when a sudden storm hits, and William gives Molly a ride she'll never forget. This was a really awesome read, so hot and so super sexy! With a message of either making memories and believing it will be enough to carry you through life or making a compromise and ending up having it all. ~~ One night with a hot cowboy leads to a lifetime of happiness to come

The third read Three Strikes by Anya Richards, tells of a knife attack left ex-Jamaican Posse member Vincent Williams scarred and made him as in the case of many life altering events, re-evaluate his life. He get's out of the gang and closet but the poor guy is lonely. After all there are not a lot of men out there that want forever with another man when a one-and-done is so much easier to handle. Enter police officer Kyle Pictou, afraid to step out of the closet because of his career , but unable to resist taking a chance with Vincent, it's just sex right? But at the end of the day it's Kyle who desperately starts to seek more than just sex, but that 's the one thing he can't have. A very racy read fro those who like the man on man action, with a nice message of life is never meant to be spent in the shadows , you will never be happy that way ~~~ Getting arrested get's sexy!

The fourth read A Cowboy's seduction tells the super awesome story of Brock Wade. He has raised his brothers and sister since their parents died, and is all round good guy! But all the hard work and no play does make him just a tad bit grumpy. He is forced to take a vacation by his friends and siblings at a resort he's never even heard of, and thus he is pretty sure he will be bored out of his mind. Then the super gorgeous Natalie Diamond ends up at the same resort and things go from dull and boring to all night play. If hot and dark erotica is not to your liking I will not recommend this read, if however you can see past the dirty as some would call it because this read does feature all the dirt, from threesomes to man on man action you name it , it's all here, and instead focus on the stunning messages each read gives and the romance that blossoms into a beautiful relationship, then this collection is a sure fire winner!

It helps get a better look into his inner wolf thoughts. There was tons of excitement and kept me reading the whole thing in one sitting... and ignoring hubby till I was done! Can't wait for more!

I don't normally read cowboy romance, but I did enjoy this story. You really get to know and see Molly's issues. William you kind of get some of his but I still would have liked to get know him more. The story line was great, they had great chemistry even while trying to fight it. Had some great hot scenes. I was kinda happy and disappointed with the ending, don't want to give too much away.

This was a M/M story. I enjoyed learning the back story of Vincent, you get a real feeling for the hard life he's led. At first it is kinda hard to know Kyle, you can see that hard stone for feelings cop, but not much else. I don't want to give too much away but there is a lot that goes on between these two and you feel for them since everything is secretive since Kyle isn't out. I gave it four stars since it seemed to kind of drag on towards the end but overall a good book!

I have to admit I was taken from the get go and I couldn't get enough. I really hope to see more from all of these authors because what they have to offer is phenomenal. Just the right amount of build up, romance and fun as well as well developed characters to keep you wanting more. I really wish all these stories had been full novels because I wanted so much more but alas we can't always have too much of a good thing.

Be warned the sex is hot and it may very well burn up in your hands.

I am really glad I got the chance to read this book because I've discovered many great tales, worlds and new authors to love. I can't wait to discover more from them in the future.

Whipped by Sabrina York - 4 stars out of 5. I don’t know how she does it, but Sabina York can write a complete story whether it is 17,000 words or 117,000 words. Whipped was on the shorter side, but a wonderfully complete story. The characters were well developed and the story moved along at a good pace and kept my interest.
Dane and Tina were a hot couple who have known each other almost all their lives, but it took the wedding of Tina’s brother, Cody, to wake them up to the fact they loved each other. Ms York did this with her usual wit and snark. I loved it. This “don’t date your best friend’s sister” guy code that they had going on was very entertaining.
This was a short, quick read, but very satisfying.

Beneath The Pages by Jennifer Kacey 4 stars out of 5. This was a hot, kinky little read. *fanning self* Wow! Can love really happen in Hollywood with every gossip rag on the planet watching? It doesn’t help when someone is out to get you either.
This is a happy little tale about finding the darker side of love in Hollywood. Beware – this is HOT! But, fun and enjoyable. Check ereader for singeing.

My two 5 star favorites were "A Cowboys Seduction" by Cynthia D' Alba 'cause I do love me a sexy cowboy... AND "Whipped" by Sabrina York... big grins! Whipped made me laugh out loud and it had a surprisingly heartwarming ending... LOVED... :) Definitely going to check out more of Sabrina York.
I liked most of these novellas... those two were just the ones that stood out the most for me personally... :)
If you are a fan of ménage or M/M erotica then this set may be a good choice for you... there are a couple of novellas that touch on that particular taste.
Great opportunity to sample different authors and different types of erotica...

Brought To His Knees brings together some of my favorite authors in one great set. From page one (in book one) you will be hooked. This set has a little something for everyone, a hot cowboy, a sexy sheriff, a daring doctor, hot sexscenes, m/m, a little menage action with some guys that aren't so little and of course CUPCAKES! LOL Every story is unique and well written, and covers some of the best tropes in the genre. I highly recommend this set, and all the authors who contributed to it! CAUTION - Stories may cause a 5 alarm fire, melt your panties and send your kindle up in flames! Read at your own risk .... and pleasure!

I have not got to read the whole book......but I have read Beneath the Pages by Jennifer Kacey. Acacia trys so hard to stay away from Radigan. After one night a year or so a go he can not stay away, and he work with Jackie to get Beneath her Pages.
My favorite line in this story is....and vanilla was definitely not his flavor or choice. The hot scene that comes later will make a believe out of you.

Brought to His Knees features contemporary romances from a very wide variety of authors with the common thread being men who never planned to find love falling hard. Overall I enjoyed this boxed set and I found several new to me authors that intrigued me which I’m sure is the point of these types of sets. This one is 11 stories, mostly novella sized with a couple that are a little longer than the others. I read it over the course of 2 days so they are pretty fast reads and perfect when you are short on time but want to spend a little time with a book. Enjoy!
Dark Wolf Enterprises by A.M. Griffin 2 stars
Trudy Hollander is an accountant who was hired to audit the books for Dark Wolf Enterprises to look for missing money but her contract with the company becomes deadly when one of her employees is killed and she is hunted. CFO Kristof Farkas comes to her rescue and she quickly learns that there is more to Dark Wolf Enterprises than she ever imagined.
While there were some funny moments in this story and while the sex scene was done very well, the plot was often comical and the conversations somewhat stilted. I understand that shifter/paranormal stories have elements of the unbelievable in them but at some point it just becomes overdone and almost absurd.
While I get that this was a novella it left a huge storyline wide open which I did not appreciate and of course it was a setup for the next book in the series. Dark Wolf Enterprises missed the mark for me on many levels and I can’t say that I really care to continue with the series.
Building Bridges by Amy Ruttan 3 stars
When vet tech Molly has a run in with William a new rancher in the area, the sparks fly. They both are thinking some naughty thoughts about the other, but they are both also hiding from life in the foothills of Alberta. Problem is they can’t seem to hide from one another and soon their sparks turn into an inferno.
I liked this story; it was interesting and held my attention. There was a definite attraction between Molly and William and so it wasn’t surprising that they gave into that attraction pretty quickly and then backed away because neither one wanted to share what was going on in their lives with each other. However, I found it a little strange that the hero went from saying “darlin’” in the first half to “darling” in the latter half.
Overall Building Bridges was a fun little novella but I would have liked more time with the characters or at the very least an epilogue.

One thing I love about boxed sets in being introduced to authors I haven’t read before and Anya Richards is now on my radar and I will be checking out her backlist. Three Strikes pairs two men who seemingly should have nothing in common but have a history that ties them together. Jamaican ex-gang member Vincent Williams finds himself face to face with police officer, Sergeant Kyle Pictou, a man who knows all about Vincent’s wild past but what he doesn’t know is that words Kyle said to him following a knife attack that has left him scarred changed Vincent’s life forever.
These two made a very unlikely match but man oh man did the heat rise up from my Kindle when they are reunited after a few years of not seeing one another. I flat out loved that this story was told from both their POV’s so we understand everything they are both thinking and feeling. This isn’t an easy relationship; Vincent is out and proud and trying to move on with his life. Now gainfully employed and doing volunteer work he’s a changed man. While Kyle is still an officer of the law he recognizes the changes in Vincent yet he knows getting involved with him probably isn’t the best idea. These two find it’s harder to stay away and when they are together it is intense and so very sexy.
This wasn’t an easy relationship, Kyle isn’t out and fears he can’t be because of what happens to homosexual officers of the law and Vincent refuses to hide again. There are a lot of hurt feelings, emotions, and choices made and none of them are easy. I really felt for both men because they truly were in what seemed like an impossible situation.
Emotional, sexy, and with characters who were easy to fall in love with author Anya Richards has me hooked with her storytelling and I can’t wait to read what else she’s done!
A Cowboy’s Seduction by Cynthia D’Alba 4.5 stars
I loved the lightheartedness of A Cowboy’s Seduction; two people sent to a resort by their families for some fun and sun find each other the first day and embark on a vacation fling of a lifetime.
Brock Wade (okay seriously love that name) took on the responsibility of raising his siblings when his parents died; he’s worked hard to raise them right often giving up everything for them including a personal life. So when they book him on a vacation that he doesn’t want or think he needs he goes because he knows not going will only hurt their feelings.
Natalie Diamond was planning on spending the holidays with her parents in Florida but when they have a change of plans, they send her on a Caribbean vacation. Natalie is determined to enjoy her time thoroughly and as soon as she meets Brock she begins to think maybe this vacation will be the best ever.
From the start these two had a mutual attraction and I loved their easy banter. Things between them heat up quickly but there is more to them than just sex; they spend a great deal of time learning about each other’s life. I appreciated that there was some depth to this story that led to them both engaging their hearts.
If A Cowboy’s Seduction is indicative of what’s to come in the Ace in the Hole Series then I think Ms. D’Alba has another hit series on her hands.
Born to Sin by Danica Avert 4.5 stars
Another new to me author in this boxed set and another great story! I love the friends to lovers troupe and this one is really special because they’ve both wanted each other for six years. Taylor Guillory is the girl next door; the one no one sees as a woman but as a friend, a buddy, a little sister. But Taylor has decided once and for all she’s going to get one night with Sinclair (Sin) Rivas and she’s studied porn just to know how to do it. If any book I’ve read so far in this boxed set is perfect for the Brought to His Knees title, it is Born To Sin.
Sin Rivas has a reputation as a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy but no woman has ever left his unsatisfied. He simply doesn’t do attachments and as long as the women know this upfront, he’s good at giving them what they want until they are both satisfied. Taylor has hung around his auto repair shop since he came to town and although he lusts after her, she has forever written all over her and that’s something he refuses to do.
I really loved these two together mainly because I think Taylor startled the hell out of Sin, threw him for a loop and landed him on his tight a$$. I give Taylor a lot of credit for going after the man she’s always wanted and I have a lot of respect for the fact that even though Sin wanted Taylor he didn’t want to hurt her so he kept his hands to himself until he was pushed past his breaking point. Hot doesn’t even begin to describe what goes on between these two so make sure you have you significant other nearby when reading this book.
I’d love to tell you that things were all wine and roses for these two but Taylor finds something that makes her begin to question everything about Sin causing hurt feelings and leading to some really fine groveling.
Honestly from beginning to end this book was completely entertaining and I’m looking forward to checking out what else this author has on her backlist!
The Sound of Your Name by Felice Fox 4 stars
This is one of those books that I enjoyed quite a bit; the characters were interesting, their situation a bit unusual, and their attraction sizzling. An undercover reporter finds herself a good luck charm of sorts for a struggling bull rider. While she’d very much like to know him better, he’s superstitious and intends on keeping what they share together status quo no matter how much they both want more.
Brody Cameron is on a mission to save his family’s ranch and the only way he can do that is to stay on the bulls he rides and bring in the money. As of late he’s struggled and he’s about to give up when Ellie Donovan winds up in the closet he is in to try and get his head on straight. After an unusual encounter, he stays on his bull and decides she’s the difference.
This was kind of a strange story because they didn’t verbally communicate, they met, had encounters, he rode; lather, rinse, repeat. However, his friends and family all realize there’s something different about the way he’s acting about Ellie and she begins to believe there may be more until threats are made and their arrangement blows up in their faces.
I enjoyed this story but honestly would have liked more time with this couple once they did begin to communicate and I hate to say it but the strange Cameron family “ways” just seemed to not fit into this story. I understand why Brody’s sister in law felt the need to educate Ellie on their situation but I really felt that was something that should have come from Brody. (Personally, that whole strange storyline hasn’t been a favorite of mine and I could have lived without it in this book.)
Overall this was a good story but in reality I would have liked more time with these characters after they settled their differences and decided to make things work.
Beneath the Pages by Jennifer Kacey 4 stars
It was easy to fall right into this story because the characters led very interesting lives and had a history of a one night stand months ago. Acacia owns a well known celebrity magazine and Radigan is a box office blockbuster actor. When he comes to her rescue with a difficult relative during a party in her home it is clear that there are sparks between them.
This is an extremely sexy book with elements of BDSM play which I enjoy however, they never really discussed her limits or talked about a safeword and perhaps they had done that previously but as a new reader this wasn’t something I was aware of. Radigan pushes her and even includes other men in their play which I will admit was very sexy but again what about her limits.
A scandal, a breakup, and some time to figure out their feelings all round out this entertaining story. This is the first book I’ve read by author Jennifer Kacey and I do like her writing style so I’ll be checking out what else she has to offer.
Cruising for Love by Lynne Silver 4 stars
I’ve always enjoyed Lynne Silver’s storytelling and Cruising for Love is right up my alley since I tend to cruise at least three times per year but that’s also when I ran into problems that I just kind of had to let go as there were some inaccuracies about cruising that drove me a little bit nuts. However, the story of first loves being reunited on the cruise was pretty entertaining especially since one is a passenger and one is a crew member and she was absolutely right that fraternization between passengers and crew is not allowed.
Andi Green is happy to get away on a cruise with her best friend; she’s not at a good place in her life. Her job isn’t fulfilling as it once was and her love life isn’t much better but when her friend throws her in to the fray of people on board because they are lovers of the book Whipped and she finds they are interested in BDSM play she’s really not all that happy. A mishap with a flogger lands Andi in the infirmary where she encounters Doctor Jonah Coleman her high school boyfriend, first love, and first everything.
I really loved watching Andi and Jonah rekindle their romance of years gone by. It was pretty evident that the feelings they once had were still there. While they attempt to fool everyone on board, they don’t and things get really interesting, very quickly.
This was one of those stories that I really wanted more from; not because it wasn’t finished but just because I liked the characters so much and would have loved to see more of them. It was fun, sexy, and a little bit outrageous but also very enjoyable.
Whipped by Sabrina York 4.5 stars
One of my favorite romance troupes is best friend’s little sister now all grown up and looking hot and Sabrina York hit the nail on the head in Whipped. I especially love the way Dane and Tina were reunited and what happens shortly thereafter. It was fun to watch die hard bachelor Dane who was lamenting the loss of his best friend, Cody, to marriage fall and fall hard at the feet of the once little girl he called, Bambi.
Without giving anything away because honestly I really did love the way this story played out; they meet under unusual circumstances, have a scorching hot no holds barred night all without Dane realizing who he is. Hilarity ensues once he finds out and as he tries to stay away and keep their indiscretion from his best friend.
While I didn’t feel cheated by the length of this book I would have loved it to have been longer because I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters involved. This book was amazingly sexy, funny, a wee bit wicked, and thoroughly enjoyable. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.
Chief Sin by Sayde Grace 4 stars
Sayde Grace is a new to me author and she packs a whole lot into her novella Chief Sin. Teenage lovers reunited after the heroine’s brother goes missing and she goes “home” to find him only to find that the boy, now man, she left behind is the sheriff and someone she’ll be forced to deal with.
These two have a past that isn’t pretty and yet it just seems to bring them closer together and makes it easier for them to forgive one another. Mavis is a successful businesswoman and she’s smart and sassy. Bowie is the town’s sheriff and is proud of the career he’s built after his life was changed years ago. I loved the absolute heat between these two and the fact that they both still had scars from the events that tore them apart.
While they look for Mavis’ twin brother, they find that they not only enjoy each other’s company still but that the passion they once shared is still very much intact.
This is one of those novellas where the author did a fine job of developing her characters and giving the reader and ending that makes readers of romance happy. I’ll admit I’m really curious about the other characters in this book and will be checking out her website to see if their book is available or coming soon.
Make Me Surrender by Tina Donahue 4 stars
I really admire a heroine who goes after what she wants even if she’s not sure what the outcome will be and Allie in Make Me Surrender by Tina Donahue is a perfect example. Allie has wanted Travis and Dutch for over a year and she’s finally decided to make a move, make them see her as the woman she is, make them understand once and for all she wants them, both of them. I kind of had to laugh at Travis and Dutch when they realize that Allie isn’t the sweet little girl they always thought her to be and I also kind of wanted to hit Travis upside the head for thinking he was going to thwart her plans and keep Dutch in line as well. Luckily Allie’s feminine wiles win out and neither man can resist her.
While I’m not a huge fan of M/F/M ménage, I tend to prefer M/M/F, Ms. Donahue did a good job with this story and their intimate times were pretty damn hot. The men having share women in the past were obviously okay with being around each other and so there was no awkwardness between them, they were kind of a well choreographed partnership.
Allie was strong and I love that she refused to sell herself short and made decisions that were best for her even if it did spur the men into acting on more than one occasion. I also appreciate the epilogue which clued the readers in on how their relationship was progressing.
Make Me Surrender was enjoyable, entertaining and pretty damn smokin’ hot.

Eleven romance stories with a touch of something for everyone, most of all stories with flashes of heat and kink sure to please romance lovers who want a little ‘something extra’ with their reads. A great opportunity to find new authors to read, and to check in with familiar favorites…

While each of these stories held something yummy, there is a LOT to read – so forgive if the reviews are brief-ish. I’m simply following synopsis order, each story will have a star & flame rating.


A.M. Griffin ~ Dark Wolf Enterprises ~ 3 Stars, 3 Flames
The PNR / Shifter story in the mix, Griffin brings us Trudy and Kristof. I liked Trudy’s quirkiness, although I found Kristof to be far more ‘puppy dog’ and moody when not in his wolf form, his obvious imprinting and loyalties to Trudy were apparent. Feeling more like the first of a series of stories with a happy for now ending, with some unanswered questions and a nice tease in the form of brothers and a new enemy.

Amy Ruttan ~ Building Bridges ~ 4 Stars, 3 Flames
An interesting combination of two very broken people running from major change, fearing connections and reliance on anyone. Molly was an open book with her issues, William less so, but he was very much the protective caring and wiser of the two. Their relationship doesn’t instantly go to I love you’s, which made it feel more honest, even as they are both struggling against the chemistry that was palpable. The ending of their story fit in the overall plot, even if I would have liked different.

Anya Richards ~ Three Strikes ~ 3 Stars, 4 Flames
A cop and an ex-gang member, Vincent and Kyle are both conflicted with their sexuality: neither would have a particularly easy go of it in their lives. It was difficult to connect with these two, they were guarded for purpose of the plot, but that also seemed to carry over to my engagement in the read. The whole “secret” element, while understandable actually seemed to drag the story to its end for me, although Richards does pack a ton of action and impact into the story.

Cynthia D'Alba ~ A Cowboy's Seduction ~ 5 Stars, 4 Flames
Have I mentioned that I’m not one who grabs up cowboy romances? Well, D’Alba just may have changed my outlook with this scorcher that provides everything this romance reader wants: fully formed characters, grown folks without loads of backstep and dramatics, communication skills (GASP!!) and a real sense of their emotional AND physical connection. Brock is perhaps a little “too” responsible who is just learning to let go of his ingrained patterns. Natalie is an accountant, and well, in my books anyone who deals with numbers and the IRS on a regular basis deserves a vacation romance. And these two make the most of their unexpected adventures in a setting so well described you could picture yourself there. This is, I know, the first in a series – I can only hope that the rest of the pairings will be as satisfying as these two.

Danica Avet ~ Born To Sin ~ 5 Stars, 4 flames
So, I really liked Taylor in this story, even if I did want to strangle her occasionally for her immaturity. She’s that girl that everyone thinks is one of the guys – you know the type: clever with cars, sporty, even a bit of a tomboy, with ZERO self-confidence in her ‘female’ side. Sure, she’s not averse to being treated like a girl, but she’s just awkward, and a bit behind the curve. She and Sin had been friends for a while, then something changed. Taylor got some courage, and aided by watching some porn decides she will seduce him. Their relationship felt real and honest, and his secret was a huge surprise to me, and sadly to Taylor from her reaction. She needed to learn that while you can’t or don’t always agree with your friends and lovers, you do owe them the courtesy of listening and trying to see their side. Especially when your connection is so palpably electric my e-reader got steamy. And, while I don’t want a full diet of it, you can’t help but hear that sweet southern drawl growl out those sexy dirty words….

Felice Fox ~ The Sound Of Your Name ~ Stars 3 flames 4
The most difficult one of the group for me to connect with, the premise is two people meet for silent sexual encounters. As a fantasy scene, it could be really hot: in fact their meetings were scorching if a bit on the dream side. Both Brody and Ella needed to just open up and speak to one another in a face to face situation, although Fox writes a wonderfully telling description that presents the reader with a clear vision of the non-verbal communication, I would have liked a bit of dialogue that wasn’t ‘dreams’ or imagined.

Jennifer Kacey ~ Beneath The Pages ~ Stars 4, Flames 4
Acacia is a 30-something CEO with confidence, charisma and smarts and a tiny secret. She is being pursued by the hot movie star Kellan who has found his match in her. The change in the dynamic here, the powerful woman with a softer and vulnerable side relentlessly pursued by the brash, confident and suave star. No Kellan didn’t have any great insecurities but what he did show was a true interest in Acacia, a real bone-deep interest in her as a person that was only matched by the glowy balls of passion that screamed from every scene between them. You know that scene in From Here to Eternity on the beach? Yeah- that sort of steam with fireworks that we, and Kellan’s two friends get to experience…. Even though they, like us, are merely spectators….it is a show requiring a cold drink. But – the end? It better mean there is more to come.

Lynne Silver ~ Cruising For Love ~ Stars 5, flames 3
Andi and Jonah are the centerpiece of this story, after losing touch these high school sweethearts are reunited in a very clever set-up. Andi is convinced to take a break and go on a cruise with her friend. What she doesn’t know is this is a “themed” Whipped cruise, all centering around various BDSM activities. I can’t even imagine not being prepared – and that is Andi’s first thought after realizing she doesn’t HAVE to participate with random men. But, she takes a chance and when she is injured and needs to see the ship’s doctor, she comes face to face with Jonah – her high school sweetheart. These two were so adorable together, and the humor just adds a certain zing to this story!


Sabrina York ~ Whipped ~ Stars 5, Flames 4
I adore Sabrina’s writing, so I know I am prejudiced – but her humor and snarky heroines with their deadpan delivery is a winner every time. Dane is at his best friend Cody’s stag party – and bored to tears. Cody has nixed all the fun, and nearly strokes out when the boys tell him there is a hooker / stripper on the way. Dane decides to get some of his very own, so he leaves to ‘run interference, and stop the girl in her tracks. Tina Marie is thrilled to see her childhood crush, and brother’s best friend in the elevator. Sadly, he doesn’t remember her, and he thinks she’s a hooker. But, taking a chance – she goes with the story to get a taste of what she always longed for. And it is off the charts hot, she expected that but what she got was so much more from the very take-charge Dane. And, when he finally learns that he has tied up and spanked his best friend’s baby sister…..
Funny, sexy and a take charge heroine in Tina Marie this story will have you laughing out loud at the humor after the steam clears.


Sayde Grace ~ Chief Sin ~ Stars 3 Flames 3
A bit of a different and deeper story here, Bowie is struggling to right wrongs in his past while remembering all of the missteps he made to lose the love of his life. Mavis is searching for her missing twin, and she returns to her hometown full of trepidation and angst, Bowie is there, and she isn’t sure she can face him after running years ago. Deep with a series of life-altering events that each character needs to settle and sort out for themselves, the road to a happy ending is poignant and a bit sad, with some bright moments in memory and currently as these two go on a search for happiness stolen from them both years ago.


Tina Donahue ~ Make Me Surrender ~ Stars 4, Flames 5
A ménage story that is a tale of Dutch, Travis and Mercy. And yes, the boys in this story do Have Mercy every way imaginable! Dutch and Travis have a long history of friendship and sharing women, alone or together: the one rule is no commitments. Mercy has heard of the infamous pair, and wants to see if rumors turn out to be as wonderful as the reality. So, Mercy decides to take a job at their bar, and move into one of the available cabins. And then the fun begins – as she manages to make herself the object of their desire, and the centerpiece of their threesome…
Hot, steamy and sexy, the friends to more is clever and creative, with solid characters that feel honest and possible.

You will want this: for a devour in one sitting or read one a night (then reread frequently) this is a collection that is not to be missed.

Brought to His Knees is a box set full of hot and steamy stories. I have to say that I had not read anything by many of the authors featured in this set but thoroughly enjoyed each story. These stories are the perfect length to read in one setting. Honestly they would make mighty fine bedtime stories.

There is a little something for everyone. There is a shifter story, a male/male story, a menage, a few cowboy stories,a reunion story for two, and a friends to lovers story. Brought to His Knees contains some great story lines, PLENTY of steamy scenes, and a lot of great reading.

A.M. Griffin's Dark Wolf Enterprises is the first story in this box set. This story gets the set started with plenty of drama and suspense. Trudy Hollander is investigating some accounting problems for Dark Wolf Enterprises when bad things start happening. When Kristof Farkas hears of the problems he steps in to keep Trudy safe. That's when things heat up. These two set of plenty of sparks while they are trying to stay safe and solve the mystery.


Amy Ruttan's Building Bridges warms things up with William and Molly's story. When William and Molly first meet they rub each other the wrong way. It's not too long when the sparks of frustration turn into flames of desire.


Anya Richards' Three Strikes features two strong men that finally can no longer resist the temptation of being together. These two have a lot of things they must work through and a few obstacles they must over come before they can be together.

Cynthia D’Alba's A Cowboy’s Seduction is one of those cowboy stories I was talking about. Who doesn't love a hot, sexy cowboy? Brock Wade's siblings send him on a dream vacation on a island for a Christmas present. He doesn't really want to go, that is until he meets a beautiful lady escaping the winter cold. Natalie Diamond ends up taking a vacation that she didn't expect. However, she's just glad to be some place warm. When Brock and Natalie meet they instantly warm up the island just a little bit more. I enjoyed watching these two get to know each other and really enjoy their vacation together.


In Danica Avet's Born to Sin Taylor sets out to prove to Sin that she is NOT just one of the guys. When this woman sets her mind to seducing the man she wants she gets doesn't hold anything back. This is one of those fun friends to lovers stories that are always fun to read and watch the relationship grow into something even stronger.


Felice Fox's The Sound of Your Name is another great cowboy story. Oh my goodness is this one hot and steamy! Ellie has set out on the Rodeo circuit to see if there is anything there that her readers might enjoy. She had no intention of becoming Brody Cameron very sexy lucky charm. When a relationship starts out with no communication and a few secrets there usually plenty of drama to follow. This is certainly the case with Ellie and Brody. They have a lot of things to work through and explain in order to make this relationship more than just a lucky charm.


Jennifer Kacey's Beneath the Pages is one really steamy story with a bit of menage. I enjoyed watching these two very independent people fall for each other. Radigan is used to getting what he wants and what he wants is Acacia. Acacia is use handling things her own way. When these two individuals get together they create some massive fireworks.

I enjoyed Lynne Silver's Cruising for Love. This one had some really humorous moments when Andi discovered just what type of cruise her friend brought her on. I also really enjoyed when she first meets up with Jonah again. These two have a past together so it was a lot of fun watching them get to know each other again. It was entertaining reading about them trying to find ways of being together without anyone finding out. I always enjoy reunion stories.

Sabrina York is the one author I have read before in this set. As some of you may know I really enjoy her work. Sabrina is one of my favorite authors, she does an awesome job of creating interesting characters and story lines that are very entertaining and have a way of warming things up.

Sabrina York's Whipped is not only one really hot steamy story but also left me with that awe feeling in the end. Dane is suppose to be helping his best friend celebrate his wedding. However all Dane is feeling is a great loss of his best friend. He doesn't plan on falling in love and becoming "Whipped" in the way he feels Cody is. However, when Dane meets a beautiful woman in the elevator things change. I don't want to tell you too much but this meeting leads to some steamy moments, some humorous moments, a little drama, like I said one great awe at the end.

In Sayde Grace's Chief Sin there may be just a little bit of mischief going on to bring Mavis Tanem back to town and back into Bowie's life. These two share and past and not all of it is pretty. However when they are thrown back together things heat up pretty quickly. This is another reunion story that was fun watching these two get to know each other again.

Tina Donahue has created one really steamy stormy to finish up this box set.
Make Me Surrender is the story of Mercy finding a way to get to know Travis and Dutch a lot better. This one is filled with some humor, lots of steam, and a few touching moments. Tina Donahue rounded out this great box set with plenty of warmth.

Over all I really enjoyed this whole set. I would highly recommend you grab a nice cold glass of something to drink, turn on your air conditioner and settle in for some warm stories. This is a great deal for only $.99. I suggest you grab your copy NOW!

If you enjoy spicy stories where the characters get everything they deserve, even if they have to be brought there kicking and screaming, this collection is for you. There's a little something for everyone--paranormal, cowboys, reunion stories, m/m... and varying from mildly naughty to pretty kinky ;) Individual ratings range from 3 to 5, and the collection is well worth the investment!

- Dark Wolf Enterprises by AM Griffin
Trudy Hollander's an accountant, and a good one; she never expected to be caught up in murder and mayhem. Kristof Farkas, the CFO of Farkas Enterprises, hired her to help track down a financial inconsistency in his company's records. He never expected to find a human mate. Guess we don't always get what we expect ;) A fast-paced, entertaining read, Ms. Griffin's story kept me up later than I would have liked ;) An almost too-quick resolution, but satisfying nonetheless. Looking forward to Kristof's brother's story... :)

- Building Bridges by Amy Ruttan
Molly Brooks is a vet tech; William Sharples, a rancher new to the area--they've each got a secret, and are both a little gun-shy. Brooding cowboy, smart aspiring vet? What's not to enjoy about their sizzling attraction?

- Three Strikes (A Far From Home story) by Anya Richards
Vincent Williams, an ex-Jamaican Posse member and Kyle Pictou, a police sergeant--they'd met previously on opposite sides of the law. When they meet again years later by chance, they take the opportunity to act on the attraction that both of them feel. Written from alternating first-person perspective, this is a very tender and moving story as these two find not only sexual compatibility but a deep friendship that makes them take a hard look at who they are and what they want. Bravo, Ms. Richards! I don't read too much m/m, but this is at its heart, a beautifully written love story.

- A Cowboy's Seduction by Cynthia D'Alba
Brock, a rancher, and Natalie, an accountant, are both sent by their families on a sun-drenched holiday and well, find that sparks fly and that love is in the air. Sweet, fun read!

- Born to Sin (Southern Sin #2) by Danica Avet
Taylor Guillory; Sinclair Rivas
Enjoyable hot read about a man not made for settling down, and the woman who changes that heart. Taylor's yearned for Sin's heated glance to fall her way, but she's contented herself with friendship for the past several years. When she's decided to make her move, neither of them can walk away from the fire they've started. My first read by Ms. Avet, but not my last.

- The Sound of Your Name by Felice Fox
Talk about a scorcher--City girl Ellie goes undercover for a magazine story and runs into bull-rider Brody. Fun premise where they end up getting to know each other with very few words...

- Beneath the Pages by Jennifer Kacey
Acacia Blair and Kellan Radigan -- oh my. Not for the faint of heart ;). Acacia runs a magazine, Radigan's one of Hollywood's biggest stars. They shared one scorching night, and though circumstances conspire against them, he knows they were meant for more. He just has to convince her he's not playing around. One of the lovely things about love is finding someone who appreciates and complements your kinks--Acacia and Radigan were meant to be ;)

- Cruising for Love by Lynne Silver
Hot and sweet second-chance story. Andi's best friend takes her on a "themed" cruise without telling her about the BDSM, but the real surprise is that her first love is the ship's doctor. What they find is that maybe this cruise is just what the doctor ordered ;) Very fun read.

- Whipped by Sabrina York
I've always enjoyed the sibling-of-the-best-friend trope, and this one is a delight. Dane's best friend Cody is getting married, and Dane and the rest of his buds are mourning his upcoming wedding at his bachelor party by bemoaning his "whipped" status. Tina's always had the hots for Dane, and the wedding festivities are the perfect opportunity to see whether she can turn his head with her "all grown up" self... Hot times and hijinks and hilarity ensue--Sabrina York knocks this novella out of the park :)

- Chief Sin by Sayde Grace

Story #1. Dark Wolf Enterprises
This was a great love story between a shifter and human. There was a lot of excitement, drama, a great mystery and a stubborn Beta male. There was a great deal of introduction to various characters that I hope to see in their own stories in the futures. This story was fast paced, well written and leaves you wanting more.

Story #2 Building Bridges
This is not the typical boy meets girl, girl meets boy love story. Both of the main characters are hiding and running away from something. The characters are very easy to identify with and you can’t help but route for them. This is a great fast flowing story, well written and keeps your attention.

Story #3 Three Strikes
This is a m/m love story between a good boy and a bad boy. One is in the closet and one does not want to be a dirty secret. Our characters have a lot of history together before they give in to their desire. There is not a lot of action, but there is great drama. This is great insight into the difficulties of coming out and the repercussions that it can cause. Well worth the read.

Story #4 A Cowboy Seduction
Forced into a vacation neither one wanted, our characters quickly grab a hold of each other and you with this charming storyline. This is a fun story of boy meets girl. It’s very entertaining, makes you smile and sets you up for a happy ending.

Story # 5 Born to Sin
Hot, this story is HOT. Great storyline, awesome characters and hot sex, who could ask for more. What happens when a tomboy sets out to seduce the bad boy? You will have to read it to find out. You won’t be disappointed.

Story#6 The sound of your name
Interested in what goes on at the rodeo circuit with all those hot hunky cowboys? Then this is the story for you. Take a look at the behind the scenes action with buckle bunnies, ornery bucking bulls and an undercover city girl. Excitement, drama and good ole fashion cowboy lovin with a twist. Can you say giddy up.

Story # 7 beneath the pages
Life style of the rich and famous has nothing on this story. Enter a world most people only imagine along with some BDSM and you have one scorching read.

Short read that sucks you in from the very first page.

Dane is in town for his best friend's wedding. After leaving a lame bachelor party he wants to find some fun. On the way to his room he meets what he thinks is a hooker. He's up for fun is she?

When his hooker leaves his room in the morning without waking him it pisses him off. When happens when that said hooker turns out to not be a hooker but your best friend’s sister....

Tina has loved Dane for years so when she has the chance to have him she jumps right in. Even if he has no idea it is her.

Dane knows he can't have Tina as the "guy" code will not allow a guy to mess with another guys sister. But can he force himself to stay away from her?

Tina is not about to avoid Dane she wants him to man up and tell her brother he wants her.....

Short and steamy read. Loved Dane and Tina. The chemistry between these two is off the charts.

The second story Building Bridges author Amy Rutton very nice story first time I have read this author Vet tech Molly has to give up her dream and William will encourage her to fellow it because it so in her the love for the cows and other,patient and kindness with them.I hope there will be a second part

Jennifer Kacey's Novella in this box set, Beneath the Pages, is absolutely AMAZING!! Acacia & Radigan are such schmexy names that fit these steamy, seductive characters perfectly!! The beginning of this story definitely starts out with a BANG (pun intended) :) I love the electricity that flows through the characters. I can't wait to see if there might be a sequel, because I would love to read a continuance of this story! I will be reading the entire set, starting today!! Author Jennifer Kacey is an awesome writer that knows how to keep her readers intrigued by her story lines, and the provocative scenes, leaving you wanting MORE!! When I read ANY of her books, I feel like I am a part of them. I recommend this book, and ALL her others, to those who don't mind diving into the deep, dark, dominating naughty world!!

This is a review for Whipped. A case of mistaken identity results in a night of great sex for Dane and Tina. She wants to continue the relationship, he doesn't. Not because he doesn't want her, bad, but because she's his best friend's sister. Dating your bud's sister is just wrong, let alone doing some of the things he did with Tina and still wants to do.

I love short, witty erotic romance and Whipped is all that and more. A couple of hot love scenes and the building romance between the hero and heroine make this book a fabulous read, while the backdrop of a wedding and all the accompanying craziness adds to the fun. You'll love how Dane and Tina meet!

If the rest of the books in this Brought to His Knees collection are as good as this one by Sabrina York, I'll be spending many happy nights reading.

Brought To His Knees is a great title for this boxed set. Each novella certainly found our stubborn, reluctant hero/heroes (wolf, rancher, cop, cowboy, Special Ops, bad boys, bull rider, actor, sheriff, cruise doctor, and bikers) finally succumb to the realization that their heroine is what makes them whole and happy. I found plenty of steam and sizzle in these stories, enough to make any romance reader happy, and also to my delight I found each story satisfying. The set contains shifter, m/m, bdsm, cowboy foolery and bad boys antics. Really, you can’t go wrong, there’s something for everyone in this set.

And the best thing is finding a few of my favorite authors and some new ones. I will certainly be looking forward to more of their work.

If you're into gay love, cowboys, erotica, menage it's here. Each book offers you a yummy story. You'll need to turn up your AC and have a tall, cold glass of something nearby because the stories are HOT!

As with most of my reviews I don't like to give away too much of the stories because I would like you to pick it up and read it yourself. For a boxed set the cost is inexpensive, and the hours of enjoyable reading is in front of you.

This rating is for one of the novellas. I did read some of the others, but didn't feel they were as strong as this one.

Dark Wolf Enterprises-Ha! Her thoughts are hilarious! And the way he puts thoughts into her head-HOT. Have you SEEN True Blood?!

If you like your books on the steamy side like I do then this book is for you. It was HOT!! There is something for everyone in the booked set. Yummy cowboys, shifters, doctor, M/M to menage. Each story is great. There is not a one you would want to skip. You get the heat, but each story has so much more going on that's not all about the sex. I recommend giving this one a go!

An audit about a company’s books could never go worst. But then again it couldn’t go better for Trudy and Kristof. Unless of course you consider the fact that Trudy is a human and Kristof a shifter, a drawback. A very good story with a very good analogy on emotions, heat and adventure!
