He was my mess to fix. I just didn’t expect to fall for the chaos in biker boots.

Havoc lives up to his name—hot, tatted, built like a god, and one bad decision away from wrecking his MC.
That’s where I come in. Storm made it clear—if Havoc wants to stay a Dark Slayer, he has to work with me.
But I never expected my wildest client to become my fiercest protector.

When the local cop who’s been stalking me goes too far, I run—and Havoc’s the only one who steps up.
He doesn’t care about the badge or the politics. He just wants me safe.

Now we’re tangled in something dangerous, hiding in his MC world, and breaking every rule I set the day we met.
Sleeping with my client might be the biggest mistake of my life…
Or the only thing that saves it.

"Havoc" is the 24th book in the "Dark Slayers MC” hot and alluring romance series featuring bikers who will remind you why you like the bad boys so much. They’re protective, rough, and running on pure diesel and adrenaline.
Each book in the series is a standalone with a guaranteed happily ever after for the couple, though it is recommended to read them in order for maximum enjoyment.

Loved It!!

When it comes to MC books this author always kills it for me. The Dark Slayers MC series is a series I’ve been following and Ms. Ray just added another five-star read to the list. This book was a huge page turner bringing so much to the table from drama to suspense to steam. Havoc and Riley’s story was so, so good. I cannot wait to see what comes next in this series.

read one book in series you’ve practically read them all. one size fits all writing!

cookie cutter/ template/ swap out names places situations, villains
and still basically every story is nearly the same !

same ol problem 7 sins of a “bored with it all.. hurry up get book, over and done with”,type author.

again same ol problem
This author literally is a one trick pony she has only 1 formula to write by, a template if you will…?

THE 7 SINS OF A TRULY BORED AF WRITER. AND IN A HURRY TO PUBLISH
Or maybe just copy paste book after book of same trope swapping names and situations is just being a lazy greedy writer?

1. Girl/ boy meet in angst

2. Immediately fall in “instalove”.

3. A heroine who is 2S2L.. girl in this modern age acts like there are not horrible men in the world. Even though she is being either stalked, targeted, threatened, previously abducted or SA, and still takes stupid risk, (not victim blaming here BECAUSE as a @pe survivor and child SA) ..but Here is the thing. when you know you are actively being targeted and the baddy is out there just waiting for you to drop your guard.. and your are inside the club house safe and protected, but no.. “It can’t hurt to just go out by Myself, unprotected right? wrong! 2S2L!!! I HATE THIS TROPE WITH A PASSION UNCONTESTED
NOW, Is it really a “smart” thing to just,…up and leave? NO! IT MOST F…IS NOT!
So this happened(s) in about 3/4+ of 23 books in series so that’s about 19 out of 24 books in this series alone. ONE TRICK PONY, much?
Sure the names of hero/heroines changes, bad guys have a slight deviation and different motives for targeting the heroine. But this is a constant repeating template of a specific story trope

4. A shocker twist is revealed! But, then NEVER RESOLVED left open ended. By the end of book, you are left scratching your head screaming. “but what about (….?) But nothing! you never hear it mentioned ever again! no solution no resolution no further info! just an open ended mystery that will never be Solved

5. 70% through the book is filler of boy& girl loving, smexing, insta love/lust under intense trauma induced situations and then bamm!
Girl does stupid thing, drops her guard acts like the person out to get her is just par for the course.. or no real threat until she realizes it’s a life/ death/ SA situation and then acts surprised! thankfully the instant before anything bad can happen she is rescued safe within a few minutes.

6. Author all of a sudden gets bored with her story and rushes to the ending at break neck whiplash pace. As though if she doesn’t end the story immediately and publish. RIGHT AWAY! It will detonate!

7. Getting Married and / even pregnant, ..book ends abruptly.

In this book there were so many continuity issues too example
Early in beginning. They say they are going to meet on Monday Wednesday & Fridays . And he points out that it is Sunday, so I’ll see you on Friday. Huh? THEN, for the next three meetings, are all on Friday! Not Mondays or Wednesday cause much later in the book her Wednesdays are with another client with OCD.
I wish the author had OCD, and was more “meticulous” cause the whole series was written sloppy! like this Expl, (just one out of so many issues)
So DSMC go in take evidence, turn it over to the feds/PD For charges /Rico violations. But if the author had done DUE DILIGENCE on the matter or
I don’t know? Say? watched a few law & order shows, she would have learned about. Evidence tampering, disruption of “chain of command” & tainted evidence
“a popular legalese term” (Stolen fruit of the forbidden tree) All of it is inadmissible. (Law & order fan of 15 yrs)

Every single book in series after reading all 24 current. They feel copy/ paste template with swapped out names. and a very limited spin the wheel of “meet cute” and villain situations that put two ppl together to insta love romance under forced volatile conditions. Where the love seems real. But after adrenaline cools and no longer under intense threat . Smexual relationships are essentially empty. Without a real genuine connection on a Everyday Normal interaction/ Day in day out getting to know each other. Couples are literally meet, hate or like each other and under trauma conditions, immediately fall in love within a week! And in less than 3 month married and baby one the way. literally every single story works this way! EVERY SINGLE ONE! .
Sigh. Author is a repetitious con artist posing as a magician weaving a yarn, but the only mystery she gives us is a. “look here is something interesting! PSYCH!!! Just kidding! suffer forever not knowing of (?) and then never again speak of it.. ever! no closure! no mention.. ever again. Like if your parents came to you and said “oh by the way .. you have an older/younger. sibling we never told you about.” Then, pretend it never happened! Like a movie that ends abruptly without the closure. I won’t be reading book 25
And let’s be honest, villains who are violent SA’s, prison? Really? We want real justice! disappointed!

Havoc is such a fun character! He is dogged by bad decisions and bad luck (some of which are hysterical). Enter Riley, a life coach Storm has hired for Havoc in the hopes that H will learn how to make better decisions. Havoc is sweet, funny, and goofy sometimes. He’s also a totally protective Alpha who will throw down to protect his woman.
I liked Riley. Like a lot of people, she has some misconceptions about the motorcycle club, but she is fair enough to listen and learn. She’s compassionate, kind without being a pushover, and a bit uptight (which Havoc helps her fix).
Together, I think these characters clicked. They were both better with each other than apart. On the surface, they are different (I’m looking at you Riley, wearing pearls to a biker party) but fundamentally they have the same values; it’s just a difference in style. They are well suited in the bedroom, both interested in k!nk (even if their idea of k!nk is BDSM Ultralite, at least their ideas and expectations match).
The villain is a stalker, but turns out that’s just the tip of the iceberg, which elevates the plot past the basic damsel in distress story to something more interesting.
In all, I think it’s a good read, very entertaining. And I have a serious case of envy when it comes to the top-secret bunker. And don’t forget the s ex club in the basement.

This is the 24th book in the series and each story acts as it's own stand alone, although characters in the MC who have had their own stories told do pop up in this one. Havoc has been a little chaotic lately. He is over thinking things causing him to make mistakes that could be easily avoided. His club Prez lets him know that he asked his wife's friend, a life coach, to talk to him. Havoc is not interested in this turn of events, but soon discovers it wasn't a suggestion. She loves working with people and helping them find their own solutions. She doesn't know much about bikers but she likes what she sees in the big hulking man, even if he does not seem thrilled with her. Once he starts to really see her they have a chemistry that pulls them together, at first neither knows if it is going anywhere, but they feel the pull and get steamy. Then danger steps in and he steps up to protect her. I really liked both of these characters. a grumpy sunshine vibe, with a strong protector instinct. They also both learned from each other which was refreshing, and grew together. There was no OW drama or angst between them. I did feel like the conversation got a little campy at times. The flow was a little inconsistent and even awkward at times. They do have a great happily ever after and epilogue. This was good, but not my favorite of the series. Celt still holds my heart as favorite.

**Chaos and the Life Coach**

The 24th book in the Dark Slayers MC series is titled *Havoc*. No matter what Havoc does to help out around the clubhouse, it always turns into a disaster, creating total chaos. The latest mishap—when the sprinkler system flooded the entire clubhouse—has pushed Storm to his breaking point. He's left with no choice but to work with a life coach named Riley to understand what’s going on with him.

Their first meeting does not go well, but Riley is determined to help. If that means learning more about MC life to connect with Havoc, she’s all in. As they get to know each other, they can’t deny the attraction and chemistry between them. However, things take a turn when a delusional detective begins stalking Riley. The best person to protect her turns out to be the sweet-hearted Havoc.

I absolutely love how well the characters are written—they're so relatable and fun! This book is fast-paced, filled with just the right amount of drama and spice, and it’s perfect for a one-sitting read. I’m always hooked by the Dark Slayers MC, and I can’t wait to see what happens next! Until next time, happy reading!

Riley is a life coach and enjoys her job. She's out with her friends when a dirty detective tries to get her to go home with him and manhandles her. Havoc and several of his brothers help her and her friends to escape Then she's called to the Dark Slayers MC compound.
Havoc has an issue--no matter what he does it goes sideways in ways that are not good. Then one day his Pres calls him to his office and tells him he has to spend time with Riley.
Slowly they manage to try to form some type of work relationship. Then one day the issue with the detective hits nuclear. Now Riley and her friend, Dae, are being protected by the MC.
Will Havoc and his brothers be able to help the girls. Will the "sticks" they wear come off?
A story of a dirty cop who is also deranged. A man who tries to do good only to have it go sideways. A woman who didn't know she was looking for a man who meets her needs.

Havoc by name and nature. His attempts at doing things are disastrous and his attempt at mending a light is the final step . Storm, MC President orders him to work with Riley, a life coach, to sort him out and try to get him stable.
Riley has a stalker, the local police officer, and things turn bad, just as things turn good with Havoc. Her protector to the rescue and the club rallies around them, especially when digging deep and find worrying things about Slate..
The author has a way of writing a diminished role for certain women being unsuspecting. Maritza is the perfect example of naive and easy to fool. She plays a minor role, but is dumb when faced with the truth. The client with OCD, Misty, is encouraged by Jamie's behaviour and tries a simple action before eating.
Lots happening between and with this couple. Both their characters are well developed and displayed.

Oh my word, Havoc started out definitely living up to his name…he’s a mess! Leave it to Storm to find a way to help him out and at the same time giving the rest of the club a little peace. Havoc is a sweetheart, he just wants to help everyone out but he gets ahead of himself and usually is a disaster in the making. Enter Riley, a life coach who Storm basically forces on Havoc. Not the best first impression but luckily for us Havoc is a doll and he really wants to do better. Throw in a crazy stalker coming after Riley and Havoc becomes the protector that Riley needs and wants. Exciting, funny and sweet…this book has it all. Great addition to an amazing series!.

This is the 24th book in the great Dark Slayers MC series. We are taken into the lives of Havoc and Riley. Havoc is a man who lives for chaos and lives up to his name. To help him dim it, Storm hires a life coach and that is Riley. To say that their first meeting is dramatic is an understatement. Riley would not be Riley if she did not give up or give up. Just when she is gaining a little ground, she is threatened and her life is in danger and then Havoc shows why he has it like that and does everything he can to protect her and keep her safe and find out who and why is after her. A wonderful MC story that is worth reading.

I definitely enjoyed this MC romantic suspense featuring Havoc and Riley. It was a little different to start because Riley is hired as a life coach for Havoc who was repeatedly accidentally causing chaos and trouble when he tried to “help”. He was defensive and angry but Riley was persistent and they eventually saw eye to eye, develop a rapport and then see their attraction to each other. Things were fast tracked a bit when Riley needed help with a stalker and Havoc and his club came to the rescue.

In here you will find lots of action, twists and turns, betrayal and surprises, exciting steamy scenes and most of all love.

Good read.

Entertaining Storyline

Havoc by name and Havoc by nature is why Storm from his MC club decided he needed to have some grounding and focus in the way of Riley, a life coach who soon became his whole world.

I loved their chemistry, his vulnerability once he got to know her and how when she needed his help, he asked no question but was there for her.

A fast paced read with lots of action, danger, sizzle with a great suspenseful entertaining storyline you won’t want to put down.

Add in the swoon-worthy HEA and this is a perfect biker read!.

Even with it being Book 24 of the series this author has done an amazing job as it feels like we are reading a book from the start of the series with good attention to detail, action non- stop and chemistry off the charts. I enjoyed everything about this book and cannot wait to see what more this author has to offer. I will definitely be one of the first in line to read the next book this author has coming our way. I loved how Riley is not just a typical wimpy woman needing to be saved. She has a strength to her and she fights and stands up for herself. Havoc makes her feels safe and stronger to deal with the issues that she is dealing with. This is a definite must read!!

Havoc lives up to his name and this last bit of chaos has Storm bringing in a life coach. Their first meeting does not go well, but Riley is determined. Their relationship sparks and when Riley is threatened Havoc steps up to protect his. Always have a fun action packed read with the DSMC characters! For me this was a bit slow paced at times but still a wonderful read! Looks forward to more in this series.

Havoc, the 24th book in the Dark Slayers series, centers on Havoc, a chaotic yet captivating character prone to disaster. Riley, a life coach hired to pinpoint his issues, discovers far more than just a professional challenge. When a stalker threatens Riley, Havoc steps in as her protector, and their sizzling chemistry and sweet interactions make them a perfect match. This gripping, steamy, and heartfelt read stands out as a potential favorite in the series.

Havoc lives up to his name and all the chaos he creates. Now to stay a member of the MC he is given a life coach to work with him. Needless to say, the first meeting wasn't great but working with Riley provides her with insights into him and just when inroads are made Riley runs into her own problems and Havoc is right there trying to keep her safe. This story had me all caught up in these two cheering them on as their relationship blossoms.

Loved this book. Havoc is exactly what his name says for what he has been doing at the club unintensionly. Riley is a life coach and is brought in to help him control his life. They are like oil and water until Havoc asks Riley to get a taste of club life. Riley is also being stalked by a dirty cop and when it goes too far she is housed at the club with Havoc. This book is full of danger, strong emotions and a happy ending. I love reading this series of MC books.

Havoc is living up to his name and it is making Storm, the Pres, crazy. When his last bright idea it fix something the club goes sideways, he wants him to see a life coach, Riley. Havoc cannot believe he has to do this and buts heads with Riley in the beginning. Riley runs to Havoc when the cop who has been stalking her gets out of hand.

It is not long before her protection becomes more than just helping out. This is steamy with plenty of action, looking forward to the next in the series.

I'm not gonna lie, I almost DNF this. To me it started off slow and I found the premise of Havoc, weird but I read on and it improved. I've read plenty of MC books but this one was original. I found the reason that brought Riley and Havoc together, absolutely great and different. They had crazy chemistry and the evolution of their relationship changes them both. Absolutely enjoyed this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Havoc is book 24 in the Dark Slayers series and could well be my favorite! Havoc is aptly named. He's a disaster waiting to happen and he can't seem to help it. Life coach Riley is brought in to find the problem and she finds more than just a job. When Riley is faced with a stalker who better to turn to than Havoc. She and Havoc are completely perfect for each other. Chemistry is over the top HOT and the interaction between them is sweet. Another great read!

Havoc and Riley are very different and don't seem like a good match, but they absolutely do. Havoc lives up to his name creating havoc whenever he tries to help the MC out. When his last handyman fix causes an expensive catastrophe, he is given a choice of working with Riley as a life coach or he is out of the club. Riley seems to have her life together. But when a stalker enters the picture, Havoc and Riley need to work out their differences and ultimately save each other.

Riley is brought in to help Havoc make better decisions, but circumstances take them in a different direction. This story was humorous at times yet full of suspense and excitement. The chemistry between the characters stood out as the tension between them was palpable. It was an excellent read.
