With many monsters now inhabiting a new home, peace seemingly descends on Earth. Little does humanity realize that the greatest danger now lurks under the waves. It all leads to the most cataclysmic monster battle of the ages! Collects issues #9–12.
In this issue the story is still consistent so there's a plus. Not all graphic novels are like that. I don't really like the grouping of the humans though because sometimes it just simply makes no sense. I do love the kaiju action but it seems a bit rushed, as if there is no real basis or structure to the fighting, just a lot of whacks and smacks and pows instead of actual detail. Still going to read this to the end though, and see how it all plays out!
Every ten pages they throw another kaiju at us, never giving any time for development - and yes I know how ridiculous it is to expect 'character development' among giant punchy bitey monsters - which leaves the entire story without depth or suspense.
Lucy washes ashore on the home of Mothra and learns some monster history. Near Monster Island's research facility, Devonians (the undersea aliens) unleash their monsters in an attack against humanity. Jet Jaguar utilises Mechagodzilla to defeat Destoroyah whilst Godzilla battles undersea with Gezora, Manda, and Titanosaurus. The Cryog use their transformation power to deceive the humans into attacking the Devonians.
Gghhggce f got the job is done and I'll see what you up at like the requirements and then we got it from me in my car to go back home in about half the requirements and a little late night at least I have no kill to be elder plz tell her you have no I was thinking that it would not sure how many of you know I have a lot to get to go with the shower so much
The third volume of the story is more of the same. I guess it kinda feels like watching "Ultraman" or something, where they've got to cram a kaiju fight into every issue, even if maybe it would be OK to go a few issues without one. The art is OK. The writing is OK. It's...OK.
