This is the third book in a paranormal romance slash urban fantasy series for anyone who enjoys action, monsters, hunters, and a little clean romance.
We join Nick and Bay-Lee two years after Hunter ended. With their relationship in trouble and danger looming in the future, the two are more determined than ever to finish Bay-Lee's training and get revenge on the werewolf pack that killed her mother. They are joined by some old friends and a few new ones. In Bait, the main threat came from wraiths. In Hunter, it was a rogue reaper, but now they must face her deadliest fear: werewolves.
In the Spirit Realm, werewolves are huge, some as big as cars. Residing in the dark forest, their biggest thrill comes when they manage to separate a few souls from the reaper that is crossing them over. The werewolves eat as many as they can, but some are torn to pieces. Their light rises, giving the full moon its awesome beauty. Bay-Lee doesn't even want to consider the possibility that werewolves could have gotten her mom twice. What if they got her away from the reaper trying to cross her over to her final resting place? What if fragments of her soul lit up their black sky?
But the werewolves are not the only threat they will have to face.

This book contains more fighting, more secrets, just as much suspense and A HUGE TWIST TNAT WILL LEAVE YOU WONDERING WHY YOU NEVER SAW IT COMING!! :D I didn't think any of Kasi's work could beat book 1, Bait, but this come up right next to it!!
Unfortunately the final book will not be written for a while so i'm going to have to wait quite a while... Kasi, I still never said I would be patient!! :) Can't wait to see how By-Lee's story ends. I enjoyed the time shift of a year, allowing us to see how all the characters had grown and matured both within themselves and their abilities :)

Awesome
This story is so good. I felt it on every level. I absolutely love the characters. They grew on me really fast. I'm ready for the next installment of this series. This author has truly captured my attention.

An adventure-filled read!
After she gets her revenge, will she sail away on her boat or choose to live her life as a hunter?
What a journey it has been for our heroine and hero. I loved facing this journey with them, discovering the twists and turns, feeling their love for each other and so many other things.
I cannot wait to read the final book though I am sad that it will end, which is why I put off reading this book and the final book for a long time.
I was sucked into this book from page one right till the last page. Such a page-turner. A marvelous read. A read filled with a shocking revelation. So cannot wait to see how it plays out. Fingers crossed everything will be okay in the end.
Filled with monster hunters, reapers, ghouls, family, secrets, twists and turns, werewolves, danger, action, adventure and love.

This is the third book in the series and it is so exciting to read as more secrets unfold. There is so much suspense and mystery. It's like waiting to open a present to see what's inside, puts you on the edge of your seat. As more of the story unfolds, Bay and Nick seem to be struggling in their relationship. Another character pops up and another finds out secrets after a near fatal battle. So intense. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
Kasi Blake really knows how to keep you in suspense just waiting to see what's going to happen next.

this series has a good story line but at times the content isn't clear. you have to keep reading and something will be said and you wonder if you missed a page or chapter.
