12 stories that will chill you to the bone. Stories that will surprise and thrill. They will guide you through a terrible bonfire night and a delusional mind to the site of ancient evil. There you will encounter a horrifying fantasy and experience a fate worse than death. Then comes child possession, vampires, subtle ghosts and Lovecraftian fantasy. You move on to where temptation leads to a deadly conclusion, murder and retribution combine and unwholesome desire exacts a terrible price.

This is a great collection of short horror stories, some of which will stay with you for a while. Some of the stories have a supernatural slant, some are about the horrors in the everyday. All of them are dark, and decidedly creepy. I think my favourite tale was H.AN.S.E.L AND GRETEL, a horror/steampunk/dark future mash-up of the familar fairy tale.
