This science fiction medical psychic thriller was suspenseful from the start! It was a compelling blend of action and intrigue, packed with genuine twists that kept me guessing. The MMC was resilient, always looking for the truth no matter the cost. The action starts with an explosion, and a woman being miraculously healed by her companion's inhuman powers. Then we meet Sam, running from a hunting party that shot him. Suffering from amnesia,he only knows his name and wonders what he is. Thankfully a woman, who seems to know him, gets him to hospital in time. As Sam's memories slowly come back he realizes Suzie is more than just his rescuer, and that he is definitely not a normal human. He discovers that they work for the government, trying to stop the terrorist group New Dawn. However, he suspects that Suzie and his boss, Stone, are hiding crucial information about the attacks New Dawn has orchestrated, and the reason for them. As he suffers the heartbreak of betrayal from those closest to him, even more shocking truths from his past comes to light. I received a free copy with no expectation of a review. All opinions are my own.
