Come on B! I love a good redemption story, and Remedy and Armor were just that. They served their time, and are now making positive contributions to society, while helping others.
Remedy and Callie have been thick as thieves since kindergarten. So, when Callie comes back to town after college, Remedy wants her close as he is extremely protective of his best friend, who he is also secretly in love with. Callie can't believe she can't find a decent place to live and is not going back to her parents' place. So, when Remedy offers to let her stay with him, she easily gives in. It was adorable to see them fight the brewing feelings for each other, as they may have always been there. Protecting the friendship was always the goal, but times up.
Armor meeting Luci was random, but the chemistry was front and center. Things moved quickly between the two, and Luci was really feeling Armor but waiting for the other shoe to drop. Things felt too easy, and she didn't trust it. Armor on the other hand, was all in from the time he met her. He knew what he wanted, and she ticked all the boxes. He just needed to be patient and show her his intentions were pure. That twist with Luci's ex was shocking, but Armor was on his grown man ish about it. That was his woman! That is, it, that is all! 🤩
Both couples deserved the love they received, and I enjoyed being able to experience it all.

Callie was the right Remedy
When the story started I did not see the story taking the direction it took. Remedy and Callie together was a longshot possibility in my mindset. I was wrong! And the other couple had a nice little story too, I hope to get more with Armor and Luci. Also, Armor's brother's complete story needs a story too. Okay, that's it. 4.5 stars...

good read
This book was a fantastic read from beginning to end. While the relationship progressed quickly, their shared history gave it the feel of a slow burn, making the connection even more compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed it & can’t wait to see whats to come!

This was actually a cute little read. I put the audio on as background while I was at work, and found myself actually enjoying the story line. I love a good friends to lovers, especially when the MMC is very possessive with his best friend. We got just that.
Normally I’m not a fan of a book with a 4 person POV, but this was done well, and the chapters were short enough where you weren’t overwhelmed with each person’s story line.

This was sweet!
This was a combination of friends to lovers/ spinning the block on a one night stand. Remedy loved him some Callie and vice versa since they were kids in kindergarten. Through good times and bad and being away from each other their friendship never changed, until they realized they were more than friends. Putting fear aside that taking their friendship to a more romantic one proved that they could make it work.
Luci and Armor meet by chance. Though she and Callie are besties and she's also close to Remedy, she doesn't know his business partner. After returning home, post break up, she wasn't looking for a relationship but Armor realized this woman was it. He never doubled back. Unsure of what was happening with her feelings Luci is reluctant, and after finding the connection between Armor and Adam she's even more ready to run. Her man, her man wasn't having it. I enjoyed these two couples and hope we see more of them. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

This was definitely a feel-good read. All the components of foundation, intensity, clear intention, devotion, and faith were there. I can respect the goals of Remedy and Armor . They had tunnel vision to establish themselves and be successful. Callie finding her way back home was the catalyst to putting destiny into motion. The unconditional love that she had for Rem, resonated from the pages. Luci deciding to also come home opened a path that Armor was not expecting. There connection was definitely one where fate met opportunity.
The family dynamics were chefs kiss. Even with the unspokem conflict between Armor , his brother and his mother. It was able to be resolved after clear communication was stated. Don't be a speed bump on the path to your own peace by holding it in.
Beautifully written and two love stories under one title. Awesomeness 🥰

This was such a beautiful story ! Remedy and Callie were best friends that fell in love with each other over time. Luci and Armor were love at first sight. I would absolutely read this story again. Everything about it was perfect.

Best friends to Lovers or Lovers who were always Lovers?
What a beautiful love story! B. Love ate this up and I ate it right on up immediately after!🤣
Remedy and Callie were the cutest best friends ever, Imagine trying to move back home and get away from an ain't shit ex, just to not be able to find housing and have to move in with your Real Estate Mogul best friend- only to later find out he was behind the scenes pulling puppet strings, so you'd basically be homeless LOL! Baby, Remedy couldn't hide his love for Callie if he wanted to- WHICH HE DIDNT. 🤷♀️
Amor didn't play bout Luci! I was kiki'ing and cackling every chapter reading their story. Falling in love with your one night stand is a trope I can get behind anytime. Armor wasn't letting that lady go nowhere, no matter how hard she tried to fight it. Now, Armor, his brother, and his mom? A complete shitshow LOL! Luci's was Armor's peace and just so happened to be his ex-sister-in-law too, I was gagged soon as I realized.

Great Book!!
Remedy and Armory met in prison, became friends and started a business together afterwards. Callie and Luci have been best friends since kindergarten. I loved the 2 different tropes contained in the book. Friends to lovers trope with Remedy and Callie who have known each other since they were 5 years old, and Armory and Luci are the one-night stand trope that leads to more. Remedy and Armory were the type of MMCs that I love to read about; a combination of gangsta and legit businessmen. The twist that involved Luci was unexpected. I was glad that Amory was on his grown man energy about the situation. I really enjoyed the humorous moments in the book especially Remedy's friends teasing him, the billboard scene, and the fight at the bar. 😂😂 The love scenes were spicy and the chemistry was off the charts between both couples. Great book that I was sad to see come to an end!!

Friendships don't have to be ruined because love comes into the equation. Don't miss out because you're afraid.
Um, um, um! All I can say is that's some genuine friendship and love from age 5 between Remedy and Callie. Watching them grow into their next phase was beautiful. Loved how slick he was about the living arrangements. Did what he did to get his girl. Both of their parents were rooting for them.

I would have enjoyed the book more if there weren't so many missing word and it seemed like pages.
The book was witty, heartwarming, and enjoyable The only problem I had was that there were alot of missing words and maybe even pages. That took down my willingness to finish the book because it was not just in one place in the book this book was riddled throughout. Whoever edits the book needs to do more than one check before approving your books to be deemed ready to go out.
I think it is really sad because I have read a couple of your books and I think you B. Love are an amazing writer so much so that I started following you,excitedly waiting for your next new release.
So please by no means think this is an attack on you as a writer. No, I just want the proof readers and editor to do better.

This is the second Black romance book that made me fall all the way in love with the genre — and babyyy, I was hooked from the jump! 😮💨🖤
There’s just something about Black romance… it feels real. Like you’re not just reading a story you’re living in it. The slang, the banter, the drama, the LUST? It’s like flipping through someone’s raw, unfiltered memoir and finding yourself right there in the middle of it all.
These men? Whew 😮💨 I need a nigga who knows what he wants, so I can give him everything he wants. PERIOD. Because the way these women be getting SERVED?? 😭 chile, I need a little D in my life too the fun kind! 🍑💦
The sex scenes? Certified fire 🔥 I was blushing, biting my lip, and looking around like
“Did someone just see what I read?!” 👀

Swoon Worthy Read❤️
I really enjoyed reading this book. Loved the characters and how well developed their stories were. This book left nothing to pondered upon and no unanswered questions. My favorite characters was (as always) the men. Remedy and Armor saw what they wanted and went for it, well Armor did because when he laid eyes on Luci, that’s was all she wrote. Armor and Luci were inseparable even when they both found out that Luci dated Armor’s younger brother.
Now Remedy on the other hand was Callie’s best friend and quite naturally they were going to have feelings for one another, but they didn’t thing the other was going to feel the same way. Their story was cute and romantic because the best love is from a long life of being best friends.

This was kind of awful to me. First unironically calling anyone pookie or pooh in the way they did was a choice. I can’t even say it was fast because I disagree i thought it was slow as hell. For it to be character driven the characters gave nothing. You have to fill in the blanks with why you think friends would want to peruse a relationship rather than being shown why with the couple. And I’m sorry but if Callie has a PhD being a kindergarten teacher is by far the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard and the explanation why was even worse. Armor and Luci were in a similar boat. I love a good insta love or fast paced joint but show me why they are falling for each other because just telling me and then time jumping is doing a disservice

The bond these couples had were indeed meant to be even though certain circumstances took each of them on different paths fate brought them back together gaining another making the threesome into couple best friends. Happy that there wasn't any static with Adam when he was told that his ex girlfriend was now with his older brother like he said their relationship wasn't going anywhere and he.never had.real feelings for her. It would be nice to have a.spin off about these couples maybe an holiday special just to see.how things were.working out and if Adam got himself together and their mother stopped making them feel guilty.

I really enjoyed getting to know this crew! Although it seemed as if Remedy and Callie were supposed to be the main characters, I was/am more invested in Armor and Luci's situation. They could have had there own book because I want to know more about what's up with Adam. Plus, Armor and Adam's mom seemed like a real strange case that I would like to know more about as well. Overall, this is one of those books that make you believe in love and all that it can be. It also reminds us that most people deserve a 2nd chance and just because someone has an "unsavory" past, that doesn't mean that they aren't capable of building a solid, wonderful future!

This was a cute read. Friends dating friends and didn’t even know it at 1st. From best friends to lovers to your forever person. Imagine moving back home and looking for somewhere to live and being shown the worst places all because your best friend has convinced all real estate agents not to find you a good spot because he wants you to move in with him.
Imagine going to a restaurant and only being offered to sit at the bar and a handsome stranger offers his table for you all to share. Then you have the best sex of your life.

Loved It
A wonderful love story with grown adults acting accordingly, to have the best relationship and life in general. I loved the families of the main characters, except for Armour mama, she need some help in letting go or real! Remedy and Armour was a great example of how you can't let your past define you. Callie and Luci showed what riendship means in every way. Remedy and Callie, besties turn lovers, I absolutely loved their journey as well as Luci and Armour relationship, was so generic. Loved epilogue and I hope to see more of the couples.

B Li e never disappoints Remedy m ew he was ready to claim Callie as his own and did what he had to do to woo her now drink Callie was a whole freak who m ew deep down she loved her best friend….now Armor was the such gentle gangsta his mother made him the man of the home to take responsibility off herself how do you make an 8yo responsible for his baby brother then said brother resents you for it but then he meets Luci who is his person but then the bomb drops and a choose has to be made ….i hope to read more about these couples

The Deed
So it's been awhile since I read from this author and as always she never disappoints. This story is super cute but has the urban flare from the men because clearly they will get active and I love that. It's crazy but I thought Adam would be a little more in his feelings but he was honest with her to a certain extent. The way that Armor came full force was refreshing because he did not play no games. Remedy and Callie was a bit slower but I understood their reservations but glad they got it together.

Aww... I absolutely love Remedy and Callie and Armour and Luci. Best friends getting together is always fun and a good thing especially when the relationships work out.
Although Remedy and Armour met in prison, they formed a brotherly bond and became very close. They were determined to make something of themselves, and to help others along the way. They started a real estate company and became millionaires.
This was a beautiful story of coming home and falling in love with your best friend.

This was such a beautiful story. Armor and Luci thought it was a one night stand that ended with a couple of forevers. Adam needed to grow a backbone how are you so miserable you decide to drag someone into your messiness. I glad it all worked out. Remedy and Callie are the definition of friends to lovers. The bond between them was truly that of soul mates it was so beautiful to read them fall deeper in love. Great read

I love how friends found love in friends on their own! Amor & Luci were just hot for one another. It was so cute how they were explaining each other to the other friends. I’m so glad that his past didn’t block their love & her run in with Adam didn’t stop a thing! Remedy & Callie were the true definition of a safe space. From the age of 5 to adulthood was beautiful to watch! It had a small amount of back & forth but in a cute way!

I enjoyed reading this book. The words flowed, even as two different love stories were being detailed and walked out, at the same time. Callie and Remedy's Kindergarten connection versus Luci and Armor, connecting later in life (despite Luci's history with Armor's brother). This book was so freaking good. I wish I could read it again for the first time I loved each and everyone of the characters and their stories. I really wish it was like 100 or 200 pages longer because I feel like we could’ve gotten more and not felt like it was too long. B love never misses and I need to go read more from her. I love the possessive MMC and the friends to lovers. I also love a man who knows what he wants and goes after it. This was just a masterpiece five stars.
