Miranda Steele leaned forward in her first class seat and peered out the window of the Boeing 767 at the contrasting splotches of greenery and dusty volcano below.
There it was. The island that had reminded her of the chalk outline of a murder victim when she’d first seen it.
Maui.
Where she and Parker had spent their honeymoon. Or tried to.
The vision below was gorgeous. Sandy beaches, dense forests, even a couple of volcanoes. She should be excited and awestruck. Instead, her stomach was as tight as a fisherman’s knot.
All she could think of was the subpoenas she’d pulled out of the glove compartment of Parker’s Tesla two weeks ago.
They had been summoned to Maui to testify against one Jonathan Ha’aheo. The young scumbag who had killed her brother and had nearly killed Parker.
Miranda gritted her teeth against the memory of the panic she’d felt when she’d found Parker chained to a rock in a sea cave about to drown.
“I was certain you weren’t afraid of flying.” Parker’s low mint julep voice caressed her ears, nudging her out of her thoughts.
She turned to him. “Huh?”
“You’re about to strangle your armrests.”
She looked down at her hands. Her fingers were dug into the luxury leather like claws. Her knuckles were white.

Deadly Encounter
This was the most awesome series glad it’s everything I hoped for. it did no spoilers here you will have to read the book. But answer this , 1.) well Wade and Miranda retire? 2,) wiill they catch the creep the escaped 3.) who is the Mystery Man.4.) Do you believe in destiny? Hope you’ve enjoyed reading the series. I hope you read the series. If not, go back and start with the first one it’ll have you hooked and I’ll give you an insight to all their cases you can’t get enough..

Review for Deadly Encore
I really enjoyed Deadly Encore by Linsey Lanier because the action and the suspense kept me enthralled throughout every chapter, and the emotions kept the whole book of characters very relatable. I can't wait to see if there is another story with the mystery of Miranda and Parker on the horizon. Keep up the great writing Linsey Lanier, and I would recommend any and all of your books to anyone who loves mystery and suspense novels.

Deadly Encore is the 20th book in the Miranda and Parker mystery series. It was just as drama and mystery filled as the previous ones. Miranda and Parker bring something to the mystery world that I haven't seen in many other books.
Lanier gives us likeable characters, solid plots and storylines, and relatable topics. The only downside is leaving me wanting more and more

Just can't count Pi Investigations out.
Outstanding final chapter. Great mystery thriller. Solve 3 in one outing, escaped convict, A rape caused by Miranda's father and faced Santana again. Gotta read to get the particulars

Excellent series.
I loved the series. I read all Parker and Miranda's books. I also read the Sloan and Wesson books. All were "can't put down" reads full of action and romance. I can't wait for the next in line!
