More Hampton Series Books

This was a year long but very enjoyable journey. It started with the Five Island Cove 12 book series which is sort of the prequel. That series starts with Mandi’s mother and her very dear high school friends reuniting after a death. It’s when we first meet Mandi, Charlie, & Ginny as children. We see how and when Mandi and Charlie first meet, how their relationship develops and the series ends with their wedding. The Hampton series was a perfect continuation. I got to read about Mandi and Charlie as adults; their struggles, fears and successes in life. The characters in both series are very realistic and well developed. The friendships and kindness in both series makes you want to be part of their friends group or families. I loved the new characters introduced in the Hampton series, Suzy, Daniel, Alicia and Henry and how they develop their own strong bond just like Mandi’s mother and her friends did in the Fire Island Cove series. I loved to read about the caring, encouraging, supportive and loving relationships between the couples. I’m sorry it ended. I would love more of this series. I want to meet Mandi’s baby, I want to see Suzy get married, I want to know if Alicia and Henry have another baby, what happens when Lana and Candace go dress shopping. Does Candace ever find love and does she expand PastForward? Where does life take Mandi after the baby? Do Mandi and Charlie and Ginny and Bob move closer to each other and do they all end up on the Cove? Does Mandi become a stay at home mom, does she go back to PastForward, does she work with her mom as a wedding planner? There are lots of open ends to explore and continue this series. I hope there’s more to come. I can’t wait!!!

I have loved this series and am sad to see it come to an end, I have enjoyed all the found family among the characters in this series as well as cameos from The Five Island Cove series. The characters are so well developed that they feel like friends. I love reading about all the work they did to restore the home and the history they try to find about the home which adds mystery and intrigue to the story. This is a beautiful story of friendship, trials and love. I didn’t want to put the book down or have it end, I highly recommend this book and great series.

Oh my, I hate to see this series end! What a wonderful book with a bit of intrigue and such well-developed characters that make one want to be part of their found-family. Jessie Newton wraps this series up so nicely with another can’t-put-it-down, don’t-want-it-to-end novel.

Wonderful conclusion to The Hampton’s series. Romance, lifelong friendships, new relationships, mystery and intrigue combine to create a read that is hard to put down.
