I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it.
The battle to stop the Void Shapers continues but they are gaining control, so Faye and others are taxed to the limit to keep the enemy at bay. Although some villages are brought to relative safety, not everyone can be saved.
I liked the determination of those battling against the Void, especially Faye, who accepts those without discrimination to help...once enemies mainly due to misconception.
There was plenty of action and I liked the magical elements.
Well-written, entertaining and engaging.

A world unraveling!
The alliance between Thornhaven and Netherkin is not accepted by all. There is resentment and distrust on both sides that must be overcome. The Void Shaper’s are closing in as Ren, Iris, and Faye search for a new weapon. Voss dispatches rescue teams but reaching survivors means finding safe passage through a distorting reality.
I know it’s fiction, but I caught myself holding my breath at times. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
