For readers who already know and love Dear Hero
This book feels like binge watching a chaotic superhero rom-com show with snacks and with lots of pent-up emotions. While reading this book, you'll have a better look at the characters that have permanently moved into your brain in the process.
As a reader who lives for messy heroes, emotionally broken villains, slow-burn romances, found family and everything used so brilliantly I could weep, this book was everything. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I highlighted half the book because it is WORTH IT.
I love Kevin & Himari, their relationship is so adorable. Every time they flirt, I forget that I'm not in the book, I'm just a reader who's reading the book. Argh, Kevin becomes the heart of the book and he's the kind of character that gives you golden retriever energy!
"Maybe, if one of us dies tomorrow… we’ll still have one last conversation to look back on.“
This line had me sobbing for hours. I can’t recommend this book enough. I’m still emotional, and in love with these four absolute idiots.
