What do you mean the best Mafia Romance I have come across is a 100 page, trans rep, polyamorous, age gap, erotica, DEBUT NOVELLA?? WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY MEAN??
Jude, the (ftm) son of the cruel Mafia boss, Damian Vaughn, finds himself invited into the bed of his fathers biggest rival, the infamous Beau Marlowe and his husband, Asher Carlisle. But is one night of pleasure worth the cost?
Mafia romances are one of those genres that sound like fabulously fertile ground for dark gritty romances, however, so often they fall into the trap of being completely OTT with ridiculous melodrama turning it into kind of a caricature of what its really aiming to achieve.
I didn’t find that to be the case here at all, this was dark, gritty, violent and disturbing…. And yet the connection established between Jude, Ash and Beau felt genuine and provided an anchor point of light amongst Judes terrible circumstances.
This contains explicit intimate scenes and probably the most emotionally wholesome fisting scene I could conceive lol I have never in my life thought that a story could be improved with a fisting scene and yet I didn’t hate its inclusion here.
Delicious read for people who go feral for the “who did this to you” trope.

Thicker Than Blood is a ridiculously hot rival mafia families MMM romantic erotica with a trans MC, age gap, and high heat! 🔥
I went into this novella expecting "just" erotica but there's a real connection and fire chemistry between the MC Jude and the married LIs Beau and Ash that makes it much more than that! The smut's wild and hungry but it's also intimate and it is so damn hot! For the first time ever, I didn't even mind the f*sting? Idek but I guess a f*sting scene can feel intimate and tender? 🤷♀️😆
I'm so excited there's a bonus short story because I need more of these guys!
Heads up that this is definitely a dark romance due to Jude living a horrible, abusive life under the heel of his mafia boss dad.

Sharp and intoxicating, Thicker Than Blood deftly explores the destructive and restorative duality of sex and desire. I could not put down this story in which the mob's secret weapon finds sanctuary where he thought there would be damnation.

I really liked this book! I'm always on the lookout for a good MMM romance, and this didn't disappoint!
I'm always wary with mafia romances, but this is one of the only mafia romance I actually liked, which means a lot coming from me.
I also loved the tension between our three protagonists, and the smut was really good too! One of my two issues was the use of the term "little one". It doesn't do it foe and always makes me slightly uncomfortable, but I know that's a me thing, because in every book I read where it's used I didn't like it.
My second problem (more of a non-issue lol) was that I couldn't imagine Beau bald, my jaw dropped when I read that, it was hard for me lmao. But that's on me :P
Overall, I had a great time reading it, and the storyline itself was also very entertaining and high stakes!

Jude spends the night with his evil father’s biggest enemies. Their connection is instant, and very steamy. This is a ~100 page novella that’s dark, spicy, and quite emotional as well. (Check the TWs)
I was shocked to find out that this was the author’s debut. It was really good! Though most of the book centred around the 🌶️, it dealt with some heavy topics and had a lot of intrigue. The characters felt well established, even when they were just introduced. The 🌶️ was very sexy, while also getting very emotional. Emotional fisting? Not something I imagined, but somehow it works very well for this book. I almost wished it was more developed, as it had good potential to be a full length novel.

I only wish this was longer and that it was a whole series or a 500 page standalone but it also works so well on its own, which is amazing because I usually don’t like novellas because they’re so short. But I ate this up.
