This book was published in 1995 but has stood the test of time. In brief, easy to read chapters, it fills in the Bible with a background of Jewish tradition and history. I was challenged while attending a Messianic fellowship to research the Origins of the Church. It opened my eyes how the "other institution" has disillusioned many souls to think they originated the Church! When the truth is it is Jesus(Yeshua)and a few Jewish believers who came from a very Orthodox beginning in the Synagogue or Temple. To understand our God is to comprehend the people He chose and the Feasts and His Word.
