Midnight Dynasty is a 2014 publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

OMG!! Whoa!! Wow! What on earth just happened? Alright, here we are on Act 3 and I am just now having that AHA! moment. Now it's all starting to come together and while I thought I knew where this all might be headed I never guessed this was the path that would finally give the Deschanel's another theory to work with and now they appear to be mulling over the possibilities. But before those seeds can be planted in their minds, there are several mind blowing occurrences that will leave you feeling shocked and numb. The ultimate sacrifice will be made for love and family, but the outcome is still up in the air.
As the third part of the Midnight Dynasty serial begins, Tristan is going over old ancestral journals his mother left him in hope that in them he will find something she failed to see that would help stop the family curse. But, Tristan can find nothing but frustration and the curse continues to reek havoc on the Deschanel family at an alarming rate.
This installment picks up the thread of Amelia and Oz and Adrienne, and Alain and Katja and finally with Markus hitting upon something that could give this family a reprieve from their long suffering “curse” and at long last perhaps the answer to the question of “Why?” and “What can be done to end it once and for all.?”
Despite the kicks to the gut I received, and at one point the necessity of putting the book down for a little while, so I could gather my thoughts, I did feel that of all the chapters thus far in the Midnight Dynasty series, this one has the most uplifting ending, daring even to use the word “hope”. So, while I understand the curse may not be over just yet, there may be a way to figure out how to break it and I will even go out on a limb and say that perhaps this part of the series will merge seamlessly back into the stories of Ana and Finn and that part of the family. Either way, I plan to have front row seat!! This one is 5 stars.

She did it! Sarah M. Cradit finished this 3-part book like a champ and secured its place as one of my all-time favorite books! The centuries-old Curse haunting the Deshanels is back in full force and taking no prisoners, but instead destroying family after family and leaving survivors to mourn their loved ones and live in fear. Emotions are high in this one, causing discord within families and leaving some hopeless.

Omega had me sitting on the edge of my seat, at times both wanting to turn the page and not wanting to know what happens next. My increased heart rate was palpable an my anxiety was high. More than once, I had that dreaded tear in my eye and lump in my throat as I shouted a silent “NOOOOO!!!” Cradit has the unparalleled ability to make me feel connected to her characters. The result of that connection was scene after scene that were difficult to read. Yes, this book is heavy. It’s filled with a plethora of emotions that are visceral and raw. I loved every single, solitary word of it. I didn’t want it to end. Oh, but what an ending it was. It wraps up nicely, yes, but it is hardly an ending to this story. We know that there is much, much more to come from our Deschanels and Sullivans (and Donnelly’s, yes I love Jacob now). Our struggle now is waiting for the next installment of the House of Crimson & Clover series. Oh, the struggle is real. Please hurry, Sarah!

** For the record, I am so mad at Goodreads for only allowing me to give this book 5 stars. It deserves soooo many more than that! **

I know I've said this before, but this time I really mean it... This is, by far, THE BEST book/act/short by Sarah M. Cradit that I have read to date. And I have read them all!

Midnight Dynasty, Act III: Omega both lifted me up and tore me down in equal measure. The love shared between these characters is so inspiring and such a joy to read but there are also scenes so sad they will bring tears to your eyes and even more shocking scenes that you wouldn't, COULDN'T, see coming in a million years that will chill you to the bone. And all so well written and in such vivid detail that it's impossible not to believe that these are real people out there suffering from a real curse that has really been plaguing their family for generation upon generation.

Virtual high five to this author for writing a book that I couldn't put down, nor did I want to. I will not be able to rest until I get my hands on the next book in this series.

OMG!! Act 3 throws it all at you, love, hate. dispair, and more death. Sarah had me turning the pages so fast to see what was going to happen next, I wanted to know but didn't want the book to end. As Act 3 opens Tristian is going over the ancient journals left to him by his mother and he's hoping to figure out how to stop the curse. It also picks up Amelia, Oz and Adrianne and Alain and Katja. Devastation has followed this generation of the Deshantles and it's not slowing down, picking off members and leaving grief behind. A few times it felt like a kick in the gut and I almost cried. I can't say enough about how it all ties together and Sarah did a wonderful job putting you right in the middle of the family crisis and makes you care about all the characters. I especially like Marcus and Tristian, they will do anything to help save this family and end the curse. This book is full of emotions raw and painful. I have put this set on my to be read again list and will recommend this to all my friend. Bravo Sarah bravo.

Make sure you can read the last half of this book uninterrupted, because it moves at warp speed and, believe me, you don't want to miss anything. Act III was loaded with a new round of deaths, highs, lows, shocks, twists - my mouth was actually hanging open a few times.

This was the darkest book of the series, but I felt like it was the natural progression of the story. Let's be honest - the Deschanels and Sullivans don't live in the land of rainbows and unicorns. The book elicited a wide spectrum of emotions from me - with some characters, I wanted to smack some sense into them, with others, I wanted to hug them.

The story of the Deschanels and Sullivans is far from over, and I can't begin to imagine what the future holds for them. This series never disappoints.

I think Colleen Deschanel sums up "Midnight Dynasty, Act III: Omega" best when she says, "Everyone should hold their loved ones close until the storm passes" (25). Unfortunately for the Deschanel family, the storm may never pass.
According to Markus: "What had happened to their family this week felt like a sneaker wave, coming up from behind and out of nowhere to completely pull them under," (108).
"Midnight Dynasty, Act III: Omega" is heartbreaking; some of my favorite characters die while others beat the odds and survive. I honestly could not put Act III down and read it straight through. I can't wait to read the next installment in "The House of Crimson & Clover,"- "Beyond Midnight: Asunder." This is hands down one of my favorite series of all time!

I can't talk too much about the actual story without giving a lot of it away, so I will say this, when you finish this story it will all be worth it. The heartbreak and the tears will have meaning. I actually had to force myself to just breathe at certain times with this one.

The curse on the Dechanel family is taking its toll on the members and we have sat through two books of devastation to get here, a journey that I almost didn't make. I absolutely loved this series and I have to say, these will be books I will own in physical form! I highly recommend you sit down and read the Crimson and Clover Series!

I give this 5 lipsticks.....

Captivating Conclusion
We finally get to see how it all comes together in Sarah's final volume of Midnight Dynasty.
Will they solve the curse? Or is it all for nothing.
The story is gripping, heartbreaking at times, but it ends with hope.
And I can't say much more without spoilers.
I highly recommend this book.

I finished reading this installment in the Midnight Dynasty series and couldn't even do a review. I was speechless. No, I had plenty to say - just not much that I could say publicly yet.

Omega tied it all together. It may have been a shock the way it was done, but I can't say anything bad about that. I just wasn't prepared, if that would even be possible.

The story of the Deschanel Curse has been eye-opening. All I can say, is you need to read this yourself (I won't spoil it for anyone). Just keep tissues handy and something to throw. Ms. Cradit has done it once again and you will be on the edge of your seat as you finish the series. This has to be one of, if not, the best book she has written. Her writing and storytelling keeps improving and she is seriously one of my favorite authors. Can she top this? I think so because she just keeps getting better.

I was given an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Mystery, tragedy, sorrow, these words barely begin to express the final book of the Midnight Dynasty serials. Much like the Kennedy family, as a reader I felt so sad for the family who seems to have everything except they live under the dark cloud of a family curse, so much loss, not only in lives but in innocence and free spirits. My heart aches for Oz and Jacob, two strong men suffering through losses that are similar yet different. Tristan has had much more than his share of suffering. Before I give much more away I will just say that this final installment is the pinnacle of the entire series! The serial has been an explosion of epic proportions. A powder keg of discovery, experimentation, denial, grief and tragic choices and decisions, it really does just shine a spotlight on cause and effect. When one person makes a choice it affects so many more throughout its ripple! This is just brilliant writing by a mastermind! There is so much depth and detail to the story it is absolutely shocking that one mind is able to weave all the fine details throughout an extended series so flawlessly! The entire House of Crimson and Clover series is a must read for those who enjoy continuous series such as R.A. Salvatore’s Drizzt Do’Urden novels. It is, in my opinion, as well orchestrated as that series. Past, present, and future are considered and accounted for at each turn of the page. * A note that the House of Crimson and Clover is Southern Gothic with a touch of paranormal, the comparison is not genre based but style of writing and personal opinion. This review is not endorsed by any other party mentioned herein*

My first thought upon finishing this book was WTF?!?!?!? I was at a loss for words, speechless, emotions were all over the place....then I remembered that this was a book, an incredible book...I love this series and I love the characters in the series (there are a few less to love now)....I enjoy the history of the books, the details about New Orleans and the love that the characters clearly feel for each other. It is a series like no other out there right now, and a series that anyone who loves to read about love, loss, betrayal with a touch of "super" powers will love. You have to start your journey at the beginning to fully understand the impact that this series will have on your best loved books list. Sarah writes from the heart and she loves her characters and that is clear to see as you read each book she writes. This is not a job for her, this is her passion and her love. It is always clear to see when it is about a hobby, or work, but she writes books that leave the reader wanting more and more, there will never be enough to fully satisfy any reader! I need to have the next book now, so I can continue on my journey with my friends, Ana, Nic, Finn, Oz, Amelia, Katja and more!!! Another amazing story by Sarah M. Cradit - make sure you add all of her books to your TBR list and you won't be sorry or disappointed in any way!!!

**This book was provided by the author to Nerd Girl in exchange for an honest review**

Get ready for another OMG edge of your seat thriller! As always Sarah Cradit has done it again and went above and beyond with this series! Each book just gets better and better. I feel I must say now that this book is not a stand alone. It is imperative that you read the previous books in this series first. Trust me you will NOT regret it!

In this book we continue learning more about the Deschanel family curse. This book is broken down into 3 parts. This is act 3

Omega:
OMG WOW!! Desperation to end this curse brings despair, love, hate, aggression and desperation. As the family continues to use their collectives to find a way to end the curse, Sarah Cradit takes you on one wild ride. She leaves you on the edge of your seat. An absolute page turner with more action, death, desperation and hope!

This installment to the series is so far my favorite! This book takes you on one amazing roller coaster ride. With many twists you won't see coming. It will leave you in suspense and wanting more as Sarah always does! BRAVO!! 5 stars across the board! I can NOT wait to read the next book!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Midnight Dynasty, Act III: Omega (The House of Crimson & Clover #3, Act III) is the final installment in this serial offering. Midnight Dynasty was offered in three parts over the summer of 2014.

In this installment the Deschanel family is in chaos. Their elder statesmen gather to discuss the tragedies that abound in the family and look for a solution. Misguided acts of love and desperation are attempted in an effort to avoid the family curse.

There is a lot of action in this installment--unfortunately mainly deaths and near deaths. The Deschanel and Sullivan families' tragedies erupt like exploding fireworks in a July 4th show. Helplessness and the sense of inevitability in their situation leads to depression and inertia in some, while others know they must keep trying because hope is all they have.

Sarah Cradit is building suspense toward her epic culmination of The House of Crimson & Clover series.

In Act III of Midnight dynasty there is more death and devastation. Family members have come together in their grief. Closer bonds have been formed for some and others have rejected one another in their sadness. I was torn apart at one point and didn't think I could go on. How much more can we take Sarah?!
The end of the book seems to bring some answers and hope for the future of the clan. could there possibly be another way to end the Deschanel curse? I can't tell too much without spoilers. You definitely need to read this book.
I can't wait to see what comes in the next book. Thank you Sarah for this wonderful series. It is by far my favorite. 5 stars for this one!!
