Scornedverse #4
Knot So Perfect
Pack promised to a spiteful Alpha. Trapped in a never-ending nightmare. One person knows the truth, but he doesn’t remember.
Being allowed to attend Unity Collegiate might not be a dream to other Omegas, but it is for me. I make a promise to live each day as if it was my last.
Almost immediately, I face a test of my newfound aspirations when I come face to face with one of the world's most popular music stars. Our connection is instant, and impossible to ignore.
Fate continues playing matchmaker as I stumble from one life-changing encounter to another walking into one of my Unity classes. And then, there's the captivating scent of a mysterious Alpha. Even from a distance, he comforts me during some pretty dark times.
Realising I belong with them isn't enough. From where I come from, life is far from simple.
My scent-matched Alphas keep emerging from the shadows when I need them most, showing me repeatedly that being knot so perfect is what life is truly about.
I want every one of their sweet promises to come true, but the nightmare from my past still lays claim on my future.
Knot So Perfect is a contemporary whychoose romance. Some material may be sensitive to readers, as the main character is involved in an abusive relationship. Your mental health matters, so please make sure this book is right for you. An extensive list of reader warnings is available lucyscottbryan.com

Her warm breath fans across my face, reinforcing the truth with every inhale: she’s here, in my arms. And she’s mine.
Out of all the Scorned Girls, Simona's story was the hardest to read. You just have to keep reminding yourself that she gets her HEA in the end. It's worth it to know that she does heal from the wrongs done to her and that she finds her true pack. Her all-in Alphas who will go to any lengths to express how worthy and how incredibly loved she is.
⚠️ Here's my plug to check out the TWs - Simona's traumas at the hands of her assigned Alpha are not an easy read. Heavy on repeated physical and emotional abuse and SA. ⚠️
When it comes to Pack Torres, they all fall in love with the same girl without realizing it. Three separate meet-cutes with their scent matched Omega, the perfect Omega who completed their pack. I adored them all and would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. I especially loved that they were already packed up before they found Simona. That they had established emotional and physical bonds separate from her.
I didn't love Simona. She was too submissive. I understand that she was suffering, but I prefer it when the character gains strength from her trauma rather than succumbs to it. I felt that she relied too heavily on her men to heal, though she was showing more independence by the end.
I raced through the first half but found the second half to drag. The pacing got bogged down in "designation" jargon and in Simona's internal thoughts (see above). Overall, however, I enjoyed reading it and seeing how Simona fit in with the rest of the Scorned Girls.
This is a mixed burn and spicy MMMF omegaverse romance that could be read as a standalone, though it's best to read the Scornedverse series in release order. There were numerous character and timeline crossovers from the previous books. I loved the tie-ins and seeing everyone's HEA in the end.
Thanks to Lucy Scott Bryan for the review copy.

I’m mixed on this one, and only giving it 3 ⭐️’s bums me out bc I loved the other three books in the series.
Here are the two things that I think are very important to know before reading:
1. Read the other books first. While this is a standalone, the world building was done in the other books, so there’s a lot left out in this one which makes it confusing. What’s going on with the other girls, their bond with each other, a few other things - are all established and defined in the other books, but not this one. Some things from the other books I remembered so I could mostly follow along, but some I didn’t, and it felt disjointed. I could deal with that, but I really missed the connection with the other girls.
It almost feels like the second book in a duet vs a standalone.
2. This one is mostly my fault, but PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS -especially if SA is a trigger for you.
Yes, this is 100% on ME for not double-checking.
Because I’d read the other books, reading that the FMC is in an abusive relationship, made me think I had an idea of what would be involved.
IMO this book is far darker than the other ones (from what I remember.) So I’m writing this for anyone like me, who doesn’t always read the warnings.
There’s a lot of “on screen” abuse that happens, and while sharing that probably means I should say this review has spoilers, I’m not tagging it like that.
I will definitely still read this author, and prob re-read the first two books - cuz they had me hooked!
I don’t do a lot of ‘dark’ so this one was just not meant to be for me 😕

i did not expect Simona’s book to be my favourite of the Scorned Girls. oh wow did Simona’s story break my heart with all she endured. but she has that quiet strength to her that was building.
how she met each of her alphas separately, is really what fate and scent matches is all about. each connection unique as their meet cute.

i also loved finally seeing the first time the Scorned Girls all met and them all from the very beginning. also how all the packs were connected to each other in some way making it feel even more meant to be about their friendship.
i binge read this entire series and i have no regrets. i am just sad that it’s all over now 🥺

*Watch triggers
*Graphic scenes of rape, sexual abuse, mental abuse, verbal abuse, and physical abuse
*Constant moving of timelines without clear segues which leaves the reader confused
*Constant changing or non-clarification of characters (Especially her mother and father who she calls by their first names then switches them back and forth)
*Incredibly slow-moving book with plot points, scenes and dialogue that are either not explained at all or overexplained the point of boring the reader to death
* Honestly AI written? Feels like it. Some of the words or paragraphs don’t even make sense
*Why does the dad/Lawson have amnesia from a heart attack?
*Why are italics used throughout half the book?
*Stop trying to connect the previous books to the new book so hard, all it does is confuse the reader and take away from THIS story.

Wow, what a way to finish this series Lucy.
I loved Simona so much and to see what she has been through to come out the other side. She is so much more than what she thought of herself.
As the final book in this series the best has been left for last. Check trigger warnings but I could not put this one down.

This book was waaaaay too long and felt like a hot mess to me. I skimmed the last 150 pages because it was moving at such a glacial pace. There were so many things that just weren’t explained or other times inexplicable over explained? It’s a nah from me.

Knot so Perfect by Lucy Scott Bryant is the last book in the Scornedverse series. You do not need to read the other books before this, but there are events that occur from a different POV in the other books. You can get a large view of events by reading the other books but you can enjoy this one alone. There is one female omega and three male alpha; there is MM.
Please read the reader warnings before starting this book. The beginning was hard to read; there was physical, mental and sexual abuse.
Simona or Sin finally gets away from her abusive forced mate and controlling family to attend university. On the way to university, there are technical problems with a plane and she gets to go to see Koded who has a masked singer. She happens to run into Ryder or Rye outside the venue and she can smell right away they are scent matched. He is sick and kind of out of it; his security chases her away.
The next day she goes back to the airport, but she has caught the bug from Rye. She ends up taking a car to university and gets in the wrong car and falls asleep trying to feel better. Dominic gets into the car and finds the sick omega. He can smell right away that they are a scent match, but she is not aware of him. He is able to find out from the car agency where she is going and gets her to university and the hospital there. Sin wakes up a few days later with no memory of how she got there. She has an amazing smelling blanket and brings her such peace, but she is not sure where it came from.
On the first day of class, Hendrix is a substitute for one of her classes. They are attracted to each other right away and there is something special about their scents. They run into each other outside of class and the sparks fly.
Will Sin be able to get away from her abusive mate and controlling family? Will she ever run into Ryder again? Will she find out who the scent on her blanket belongs to? What is she going to do about Hendrix? What will happen with these three very different men?
This was another great addition to the Scornedverse and I am sad to see it come to an end. Hopefully there will be another wonderful series for us soon.

This is the fourth book in the Scornedverse series. While I have read a few stories by this author, this is the first in the series that I have had the opportunity to read. I can’t speak for the rest of the series, but this book hit me so hard in the feels and I loved following on this journey with Simona. This book was so emotional and filled with hurt and pain but also love and comfort. There are definitely some triggers so make sure you read the warnings. From the very beginning, Sim grabbed me and all I wanted to do was to leap in the pages and protect her from the awful situation that was decided for her before she was even born. This book was long, but it was so well written that I didn’t want to put it down. It was gripping and definitely put my emotions through such a whirlwind. I don’t know how this series began, but the ending couldn’t be much better.
Simona is one of those tragic heroines that have been through so much in their life that you aren’t really sure how they survived to the point of the story. But the answer is that Sim is a survivor. She has a strength in her perseverance that keeps her from falling apart during her darkest times. One of the worst things that can happen to a person is to have all of their choices taken from them. That is what has happened to Sim. Her sensitivity to an Alpha bark is exploited by one of the worst people, someone that she has been promised to. It isn’t until she goes to the mandatory Omega Unity Collegiate that she actually gets her first taste of freedom, even though Brody is always lurking. Along the way she not only meets the most important women in her life, the Scorned Sisters, but also meets three different Alphas who show her how an Alpha should treat an Omega.
This book will absolutely make you feel strong feelings. Just like any omegaverse, this book is never lacking in the spicy spice times. This book is long, so it might take a bit to read, even though the flow is nice and smooth, making the story fly. It is definitely worth the read, especially if you want a story with depth, heart, and a strong FMC that does what she can to find herself.

2.5⭐
This book was jarring. It didn't feel like it was even written by the same author. It was filled with flowery descriptive language and if I had to read another sentence stating the 'universe in their eyes'?the stormy eye descriptions were incessant. I actually got kinda confused with the main guys from the pack as I didn't have anything really distinguishing them in my mind other than their scent. Which we hear ad nauseum. This could have been such a fantastic book if it had have been handled right. The endings were non endings and we are just told what happens, esp with Brody and the family. The only redeeming grace was the author didn't fall into the baby tripe in the epilogue.
All the alphas 'pushing designation down onto' ppl felt like it came out of left field as I don't remember it that forcefully from the previous three books. Chunks of this book felt like it was an Ai filler when the author got bored and just wanted to throw something out to finish. It was just a disappointing end to what was actually quite a good series. It took me nearly a week to finish this one. The only reason I finished is cos I just wanted to see the series to the end. The epilogues were more non epilogues. It just left me flat. Esp with such a serious subject as abuse and DV and while it did portray Simona's strength and resilience at times, it also managed to take her strength away also. She just came off as limp lettuce. The contrast at times from her meekness jarred when she was written suddenly sexually vocal and demanding not just while in heat. The heats were flowery, we are just told and the scenes I actually often had to stop and think how the hell is that possible and realising it isn't.
The book could do with a good edit for continuity, I'm not that much of a bug bear for the odd typo but at times this book was just confusing esp with the dialogue (again, often too flowery) It was sometimes difficult to keep track of who's saying what or who's in the conversation. and where.
I'll probably come back and edit this later to fine tune what I've written more.

This is it. Knot So Perfect is the final Scorned Girl book, and it was incredible. Finally, we get to learn what secrets Simona has been keeping.
Gods, I've never read a book so heart-shattering from the first page. Simona suffered through all kinds of abuse and several attacks in just the first few chapters. She has such a sweet disposition, but she has been broken down so thoroughly by those around her in ways I'm not sure anyone could recover from. Sim suffered the most horrific things at their hands. And to top it all off, she's still arranged to pack an evil alpha who I wouldn't spit on if he were on fire.
On a happier note, I was overjoyed that Sim found her wings. Going to college gave Sim freedom, and the ability to discover who she was without fear of consequences. She grew so much with the support of the school and her friends, finding the strength to face what she never could before. Plus, I loved how the romance developed. Fated had a big hand in getting Sim to her HEA. She met each of the guys individually, and with every single one, the connection was instantaneous. How they were with her, caring while being supportive, was everything Simona never had. It was a darker book, but the romance was sweeter than expected.
The ending was good; most things got resolved. There were a couple of things that didn't wrap up like I expected them to—nothing important, just a couple of side characters. This series was incredibly good, I loved that it focused on friendships and romance. I'm going to miss the Scorned Girls. I get the feeling that they aren't done yet; there are more stories; I just know it.

I really got drawn into this series, and really loved all the books with their sisterhood yet with different stories!
This one featured Simona who was the gentle soul of the sisters, and what we didn't really grasp in the previous books how this poor girl suffered in silence, allowed her friends shine and always supported them regardless what she was enduring on her own life.
I really wanted to give this last one the full five stars as well, but unfortunately the ending felt a bit abrupt in comparison to the lovely extended epilogues in the previous books, and for some reason the romance wasn't as potent in this book as in the others where I felt it vibrated out of the pages (perhaps that was because of the FMCs reticence due to her fears she was treated with more caution rather than flaming passion). However, I was really touched how this book addressed abuse and how challenging it can be for the victim to speak out and not only get help, but to be able to accept the assistance and gain the courage to take steps away from the abusive relationships, also I was impressed that it acknowledged that in the aftermath there is still hurdles to overcome in terms of getting over the trauma suffered over the continuous violence which isn't an overnight process just because the threat is eliminated.
I previously was on the fence about omegaverse books but these last two series I've read from Lucy Scott Bryan have really changed my opinion on them and placed them in one of my favourite reads, or perhaps it's simply just that she's an amazing author and I would love to read anything she writes 😍

It took me a while to finally pick up this last book in the interconnected series, but I’m glad I did!
I think it may be the nostalgia factor that made this book that little bit better, because it was great seeing all our previous FMCs again. All those previous events seen from a different perspective made me recall all their stories and brought up all those great HEA they got in the end. The writing felt like it was a little rushed during those events, but since I recalled them from the previous books it didn’t affect the story much.
This was a story focused around the FMC and the challenges in life she has to face, so we only got quick mentions of the MMCs backstories. I would’ve liked more time learning the about the MMCs and connecting with their pasts rather than the quick mentions and implied conversations the MCs had.
What the FMC went through was very dark and the writing I felt did the trauma justice. There was a tease of her fighting for herself and against those who wronged her, but that changed with the incorporation of the MMCs, the fight became more of savouring the moment for her inevitable future.
The yearning in the first half was exceptional on both sides and the pure devotion of the MMCs was stunning. It was great seeing her growth, and it was so well helped along by her MMCs, even into the extended epilogue her growth continued.
This was a great interconnected series, I liked the variety in challenges the FMCs faced and overcame through their own strength and with the help of their MMCs.

So bored.
It’s weird because I liked book 1 a lot. I also liked book 2, just not as much as 1. I skipped 3. This one is a struggle.
I felt disconnected from Simona. Sometimes she felt TSTL, which is unfortunate considering Lucy tried her hardest to build this character up with hidden inner strength. Like, where? Where was her strength except what was given her by men? A little bit of this has to do with the world and how the A/B/O designations work I’d guess, but Brody forced her free-will away, and her other Alphas forced it back. There’s no wiggle room here for her to take power herself.
The flow from one scenario to another left me unsure and confused. I kept questioning why she acted a certain way here but changed her mind there. I ended up having to mentally shrug and go with it because maybe this problem was actually a me problem.
The affair thing knocked me over. I hadn’t thought of it till it was explicitly stated as an “illicit affair”. Meh ok, I guess she was promised to Brody, but it didn’t feel illicit.
I did really like how she just missed properly meeting up with her Alphas. Running from one, the other not knowing where she went.
The whole book was fine but I was bored constantly from around 35% onwards. I kept trying and trying, picking it up again, hoping for better.

Simona has had a difficult life: hurt, betrayed, manipulated, and trapped. Being sent off to Unity has given her a glimpse of freedom: Giving her the scorned girls and the Alphas who stumble into her life and who are desperate to find her and help her.
Prepare yourself for an emotionally triggering and powerful read, so do check the trigger warnings.
This entire series pulls you in from the start, but Simona's story hits even harder. All she has endured, her fight to keep herself and her friends safe is awe-inspiring. I have loved every single one of the "scorned girls" books; each one is heartbreaking and filled with such resilience and hope. This book is no different, tugs at your heartstrings.
Gosh, the Alphas in this book are outstanding. Ryder is the sweetest, giving light to Simona's darkness. My favourite quote from this book is him talking to Simona:
"Love is meant to be unconditional; it's meant to be your key to freedom. It's not meant to be oppressive."
This is a must-read series, filled with pain, hope, redemption and found family. It brings light to topics often ignored due to the harsh realities around them. But it also includes all the things we love about omegaverse, heats, knots and over protective Alphas.

Knot So Perfect is book four in the ScornedVerse series. Each book is a standalone but the characters and events crossover. I highly recommend reading the books in order for maximum enjoyment.
I have been anxiously awaiting this book and IT👏DELIVERS👏 BIG TIME 👏!
First, please check your TW as Simona goes through a lot before she gets her HEA. As stated above, she survives abu$e and a$$ault. As someone who can relate to her ordeal, I cannot stress enough just how well the situations were handled by the author. Simona is a shy, easy going, conciliatory character. She truly wants what’s best for everyone around her, even at her own expense. She evolves throughout the story to become someone who fights for not only her HEA but for those she loves. That part of the story alone is beautiful and well worth the read.
The three Alphas are amazing and instant book boyfriend material. They may be sweet cinnamon rolls for Sim but also protect and cherish her - mind, body, and soul - with everything they are and possess. This was an amazing love story.

Saved The Best For Last
Oh my God I can’t believe it’s finally over 😭This series has been absolutely amazing 🙌🏻 Each one of these stories has been so emotional and so charged with intense passion, drama, and danger. But I think this story was by far the most emotional one out of all of them. I knew going in there was gonna be so many deep emotions that Lucy was going to be touching base on based on teasers we had seen about Simona’s story. Being in the middle of the story though was an entirely more raw and authentic experience that I don’t think I was truly prepared for, but I absolutely loved either way. I do know that Simona’s story touched me on a more personal level, so maybe that’s part of why it hit so much harder for me, but I feel like because I related to her character so much it made the story that much more deeper and impactful to me. As sad as I am to see the series end, I’m so happy I got to experience each one as they came out, and they will definitely be stories that I will reread over and over again. While each book in the series can be read as standalone, you would be doing yourself & the characters a disservice by not reading the stories in order…just my opinion. A masterful end to an absolutely phenomenal series of books about 4 amazing women 💙💚🩷💛

DNF - 55% (I just realized that I'm at page 300 which is INSANE at only 55%)
I am convinced this was written with AI.
A lot of the way things are explained and worded were so confusing. This felt more like a puzzle than anything.
For example, going back and forth between referring to her father as "father" and his name? Same with her mother who is never referred to as her mother and you just need to kind of figure it out?
Or when the fmc is interacting with the professor as if the class wouldn't be literally looking right at him while he flirts with a student? lol... Those scenes are so awkward.
In general, a lot of the plot just didn't make sense either. Things not adding up or being so obvious that the other characters don't make any sense with their actions.
Another example of that is one of the alphas. His first interaction with the fmc makes it seem like he wants to get away from his scent match because of something that happened with another omega. But then later on he barely remembers the interaction because he was getting sick? It felt like the author forgot what they had written. And things like this happened a lot.
That's not even adding in the fact that this is super connected to their other books which adds another whole level of confusion.

Omegaverse
Why Choose (MMMF⚔️)
Traumatized FMC
Touch Her and ☠️
Accidental Bonding
He Builds Her A Nest
Simona's story quickly became my favorite of all the Scorned Girls.
A few times she comes close to giving in and giving up her hopes for a future with her men. But at every twist and turn one of her men is there to show her she's theirs.
Hendrix, Dominic and Ryder are everything Simona needs. They are instantly entranced from the moment they meet her. They see right through her façades and push her to fight for what she wants.
Simona struggles. It's not easy letting go of her reservations and fears of being with her scent matches and at points she's her own worst enemy. Her story beautifully portrays the struggle and strength needed to break free from familial expectations and pressures.
The scorned girls never disappoint! I loved the scenes we got of them together and individually with one another.
I'm sad this is the last Scornedverse, but also feel like this was the perfect ending 😭

PERFECTLY KNOTTED
Book Four of the Scornedverse Series, brings everything and everyone together, so make sure you read the series in order. While they are standalones, they are interconnected. I have read books 1 & 2 but not 3. And although you read hints about Tristan, those hints are confirmed in Book 4.
Simona's story broke my heart. So much tragedy, hurt and loss would have anyone crawling into a hole and closing themselves down. That is how powerful this book is, how the writing grabs your heart in a vice grip and it is only because of the love, care and devotion from her scent match pack that you can feel your own heart beating again. I completely and irrevocably recommend this book and this series. These women each have a strength within them that resonates with the reader, no matter how they have been scorned, they are strong, brilliant and perfect in everyway.
'Sunshine warm honey, a thunderstorm in all its glory, and a library of beautifully bound pages --- fills my lungs and curls around me as I collapse face first into the wall of pillows and blankets.' - Simona. (Lucy Scott Bryan has discovered the perfect combination for scent match pack!)

It's such a bitter sweet moment that this in kinda the end out our lovely Scorn Girls. I have been here every step and following our lovely author Lucy Scott Bryan. In this amazing journey with all of our favorite scoring girls.
I have cried so hard for Simona, her story it's so heartfelt and emotional. Lucy read did an amazing job with Simona and her journey on finding her forever pack. Let me tell you her Alphas were absolutely amazing with her. After reading her story I really can't imagine any other way it could have come about or it ended other than the perfect way Lucy's got Bryant has bring it to life.
The silent suffering Simone I had to do because of Brody just hits you really hard. And the only person that really figured anything out was lost in but I'm kind of wondering if the founding families had something to do with him being sick other than his health problems. I feel like they probably tried to rewire his memory after his first health spell happened.
Tristan and Simona stores are by for my two favorite out of all the scoring girls.

This is the fourth book in the Scornedverse Series by Lucy Scott Bryan, and this book totally wraps up the whole series in a beautiful bow. The way the author tied together all the girls, their love for each other, and the support they show each other is a beautiful story of true friendship.
Simona is a beautiful Omega who is a survivor of DV and SA. But, due to circumstances within the OV, she's unable to share her story or ask for help. She leaves to attend Unity Collegiate, and on the way, Fate makes a play when she happens to come across an alpha who is her scent match. This happens again with another not long later, as well as the scent of a mystery alpha she's left with.
She's struggles throughout this book, but her friends and the three alphas that Fate brought into her life fight hard to show her she doesn't have to struggle alone. That she's worth fighting for.
The book brought me so many tears and hit me directly in the heart. Simona was the perfect fmc to end the scornedverse and tie it all together.

Knot So Perfect is the fourth book in the Scornedverse universe written by Lucy Scott Bryan.
💜 omegaverse
💜 arranged marriage
💜 best friends
💜 secrets
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
Simona knows what’s expected of her. Her family is one of the Founding Families. That means arranged marriages, doing what you are told, wearing what’s expected of you, and keeping up appearances. The worst part? The alpha she’s supposed to marry, Brody. He’s the worst and is violent as well as hateful. Will she have to follow through with the marriage? Will she be able to get away? What about going to Unity? Will her time at Unity also be completely dictated as well?
I loved Simone’s story in this series. The addition of her story added to the richness that is this universe. Simon’s is so very different than the other girls as they each have their own distinctive personalities. Simian’s character is strong in her own way and isn’t afraid to fight for herself. I really enjoyed all four books and this was no different.

Emotional
Knot So Perfect is part of the Scornedverse series, but it can be read as a standalone. This omegaverse deals with abuse so please read the warnings before starting this book.
Simona's story is one of heartbreak, and an example of the depths that some will go to use their power to harm others. The psychologic play with the alpha's bark was creative, but terrifying. The power that Brody could use against Simona's omega was disturbing, and taking her voice was the saddest part of this story.
I felt like there were some things that didn't get resolved in a satisfying way. That just might be my viewpoint but I wanted something more with her father.
I loved how the alphas were introduced. It added to the storyline to have each of their first interactions with Sin be completely separate from the others. Letting readers get to know each of them.
Be sure to bring the tissues. You'll need them for this book.

Solid OV. I think the set up of this one appealed to me the most of the series (traumatized omega, protective alphas, darker themes), but like others I’ve read from this author, I just felt it dragged a bit in pace. Some of this is writing style (her writing is very meta- a lot of thick syntax and internal POV) but also bc this one builds a lot on the friend group and since I’ve not read the other books I found myself skimming those parts, and they felt more like fan service that plot essential in many places. Mostly the bones are good, but by the time the heat comes I enjoyed it less bc it felt like it took too long to get there. Overall I liked it just felt like it needed some condensing. Might have been better for me on audio since I digest slower (to me) paced books best on Audio (and the other book I read of this series I did on audio). But loved the premise and the characters. Did think they were well defined and had good chemistry.

A fitting end to the Scorned Girls series. Even if parts of it were painful to read, Simona needed her story told. She needed her happy ever after with the Torres pack. Physical / mental abuse (not by a main character) and the inability to fight back play a large part in Simona's life. Read the content warning. Also, this is a book where everyone in the pack has a relationship with the others. Dom, Hen, and Rye were together as a pack before Sim entered their lives. I believe Simona always felt included, even when doubts clouded her mind. I do wish the Scorned Girls had not kept so many secrets from the group. I believe they could have helped each other get through those tougher times. I loved reading about the girls and wish I had a friend group like them. Now, I believe I need to reread this series in tandem. So many things are happening at the same time across all books.

Before I review this book I have to state that Lucy Scott Bryan is one of my favorite authors. To be honest I have a lot of them!! The first I had ever read by LSB was “The Deal.” I fell in love with the book and knew I needed to read all of her books. I have been an LSB fanatic ever since.
This is the fourth and final book in the Scornedverse series. While I was excited to finally read Simona’s story, I was also saddened to read it as well. This meant the end to the Scorned Girls story and I was not ready for that. Everytime I thought the next book in the series couldn’t get any better, you proved me so wrong! Simona’s story had tears falling down my face before I even realized it!
Thank you, Lucy Scott Bryan for such an incredibly riveting, traumatic and steamy story. I cannot wait to see what you have coming up next for us!!

I’ve been trying for the past couple books trying to figure out what the problem is with these books in this seriesand I’ve finally figured it out. The story for each book is fine-it’s good even. But it gets dragged down horribly when the author tries to reconnect the current story with the overall series story. I don’t remember at all the events from the previous book and it’s beyond annoying that it takes up a significant chunk of the ending of the current book I’m trying to read. I absolute hate that and that’s why the first book was 5 stars but the last two books have been 3 stars. That is definitely not a writing style I enjoy and if the authors next series goes like this, I won’t be reading it. Which is a bummer because the individual stories really are good but the attempt at reattaching it to an over all series arch is not good.

This is the fourth book in the scornedverse and while it can be read as a stand alone, why would you want to miss the other incredible books and characters? This is no exception to the level of awesomeness we are used to from this author. The fmc of this story is so strong. Her life has definitely been no picnic and she has experienced some terrible things. Seriously, have the tissues handy. When she finally meets her alphas they give her even more strength and support. This is a RH Omegaverse so there is no choosing between the main male characters for our fmc. The story was beautifully written and while it definitely is what some would consider darker, it didn't lack in the sweet moments as well as spice.

I loved this story it was emotional and beautiful. I was pulled in from the beginning and didn’t put it down until I finished it. I was excited to get this story and it was so good!
I really love the FMC Simona. I was ready to finally get her HEA and she did. Simona is a character that is a survivor and honestly there were times I was sad and happy for the FMC. I loved how the alphas continued to encourage and love the FMC. They cared for her deeply and that moved me.
Overall I absolutely loved this book! It was so good and I highly recommend if you love omegaverse. This was definitely a book of healing. Absolutely loved!
