If you don't like being left hanging by a story that is action-packed, don't choose this one. I was invested in this story from page one. Dawn of Devastation is a novella that had me flipping tables and throwing chairs through windows. Following Jessie and Jimmy, who are siblings who went on a road trip to speak with their grandfather. Their encounter with Edwin March, who puts things in motion. I loved the story line, I was aggravated because it ended quickly. Luckily, I can move on to Last Gasp of the World.
