This book is well-written, but there are a few things I like to point out:
1. It doesn't cover anything about Pages and Numbers.
2. About Security, it talks about "FileVault," and I personally set it up. However, you cannot log in the system by using your Admin password. There are no tips to troubleshoot anything regarding "FileVault."
3. It's a 900 pages book. I am an avid reader, yet do not have the patience to go through 900 pages to learn about the features. The way Mr. Pogue write about this manual is too lengthy. However, it's a good reference book if you do have tremendous patience.

By reading the above-mentioned points, you might give a 2nd thought before purchasing this book.

Pogue always does a good job, but this one didn't seem up to earlier editions for OS-X. Maybe he's getting tired. Or just didn't spend much time on an assistant's draft? He's a busy guy....

Still, the book does the job. A lot easier to have all this stuff in one place, than hunting it up all over the web.

Always love Pogue's books. Friends wonder how I know so much about computer stuff. This is why.
