All are sweet memories, but, in my opinion, most are quite simple and don't make a great story to share with others. I set out looking forward to find some new Christmas stories to dog-ear and read every year. Out of the 70+, I dog-eared one.
Rarely do I rate a book 5 stars but this was such a wonderful glimpse into the nostalgia of Christmases of the past. I really miss the Christmases of my youth, although they were simple. While reading this, I needed tissues along the way, so consider that your warning.
I loved this book!!! it is written like a Christian soup book 77 very short stories between a page and a half to four pages. I will read it again and i very much recommend it
This is a little book of true stories of holiday cheer and goodwill. It was wonderful. Great little stories. I used to read Joe Wheeler's Christmas storiees every year until a few years ago he stopped. This is very comparable and did get me my "fix" of Christmas stories this year.
This is a collection of several stories about Christmas and fond memories the writer's have about the holidays. It gives you warm feeligs and memories of years long past. I recommend this book to all you enjoy the holiday season and want a good book to read to get you into the spirit of Christmas.
Just an easy read, perfect for the Christmas season. (I was also extremely surprised to see that one of the stories took place in Beetown, a tiny little village in our county!)
I loved the short stories in this book. I will read them again next year at Christmas time to put me in the spirit. I also enjoyed the information provided about the various towns.
