Jessa Aarons was born and raised in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin. She has had her nose buried in books for as long as she can remember. Her love of romance began when she “borrowed” her mom’s paperback Harlequin novels. After experiencing a life changing health issue, she had to leave the working world and dove back into books to help heal her soul. She would read anything that told a love story but still had grit and drama. Then she became a beta reader and personal assistant to another author. Jessa is the boss of her husband and their castle. He really is her prince. Thanks to his encouragement, Jessa started putting pen to paper and creating new imaginary worlds. She spends her free time reading, crafting, and cheering on her hometown football team.
Yes, and it absolutely works!! Jess’s Aarons is a new-to-me author & I’m so glad I discovered her. The characters of Ferguson & Nola mesh so well together. She gives him just enough sass to keep him on his toes, and you can feel the chemistry between them come right off the page. If you’re looking for a good Irish mafia book, look no further! Highly recommended.
Sometimes when you fall for someone their lifestyle is a deal breaker. In some cases its not. Nola found out that the guy she started to want a life with was the leader if the O'Carroll mafia. It should have really bothered her but it o oh made her more curious about the man. I found this story to be awesome. The plot and characters flowed perfectly together. I would recommend this book to anyone.
This is book 2 and Nola is Remi book friend. And caught the eye of Fergus the head of the Irish mob in Texas and her friend brother in law. Fun follow up book in this series. Make sure you read book 1.
I just love the Irish O'Carrroll brothers & its not just because they're mafia (wink)! These characters, their stories & the world Jessa Aarons is building makes a fantastic read!
