This one for me was a medium burn before the proverbial sh*t hit the fan, boy did that hit me for six! After how the first book finished one had some hope for the next Valentine. Meh! I may have been punching above the waist there 😂

This was such a great read! I loved how deranged both Hayes and Liv were, their jealousy and possessiveness were everything, and some people definitely paid the price for it. I’m excited for the rest of this series, but I also need more of Liv and Hayes’ story!

Trust me, no one is more shocked by my rating than I am. But it’s been a while since I read about characters as unhinged as these two. They DESERVED a full-length book, not just a novella.

“Well, Henry. If you take a second to get your head out of your ass, then maybe you would realize that there are plenty of other seats for you to park your entitled self in. Better yet, maybe you should go sit in your car like you did this morning and lose some more brain cells getting your dick sucked before class.”
You already know the drill, treat them differently from everyone else, and boom, you’ve got their full attention, and she didn’t just get his attention, she got his obsession too.

Why did he kill him? Why did I run? Just because his hands were full of blood doesn’t mean I was scared. I was just taken aback by the scene. I’d be a hypocrite to be frightened of him. Fuck. I shouldn’t have left. I could’ve helped him get rid of the body.
What I would've liked, though, is for her actions to be explained better. Like, I remembered when SHE remembered that she had a boyfriend only after messing around with two different guys in less than 24 hours.
“Ask her about Dillon. She has a whole boyfriend back home. My younger brother. If you don’t believe me, ask her. Or better yet, ask her why she’s here.”
I know she’s possessive and hiding things, but beyond that? I don’t really know her, and that’s why I have mixed feelings about her character. I guess all these questions will be answered in the next book.

Oh I loved them, I LOVED THEM.They had potential and they definitely served but, I’ll say it again, they could’ve been so much better if this was a full-length book. I mean, LOOK AT THEM:

Less than 100 pages, and I totally believe they’ve developed feelings for each other. That’s how strong their bond was, but I also have to say, I liked them more as a couple than as individuals.
“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” I shout as he pays no mind that i’m literally yelling while he’s getting his dick sucked.
“Do you mind?”
“Oh, I fucking do mind, Henry.”
Anyway, good novella, LOVED the couple AND the plot, I can't wait for their second book.

Soooo good! The continuation of the story from bloody valentine was beautiful done. The authors meshed the stories together brilliantly. But that cliffhanger seriously, I have to wait til next winter to know what happens will be my internal death like worse than waiting for any other book out there. Definitely worth a read!

Sinister Valentine is the second story in the St. Valentines series and is a continuation of the first story (Bloody Valentine). We got a brief glimpse of Hayes Valentine in the first book, but it really didn't do him justice!

I absolutely loved Hayes and Liv. Hayes is struggling to fight the influence of his family's secret society while also maintaining his party-loving hockey persona. Liv is fiesty and defiant with secrets of her own including a boyfriend back home. They match each other's energies amazingly and the spicy scenes were deliciously dark and twisted.
The story of Hayes and Liv will continue in Bleed With Me which is set to be released in winter 2025 and I cannot wait. Definitely pick this one up, but make sure to check the long list of triggers first!

This is book two of the St Valentines series and getting a small glimpse of Hayes in book one did him no justice. WOW. I'm blown away! He's a savage, obsessed, unhinged hottie who will get what he wants when he wants it. Both Hayes and Liv sure do match dark energy which makes this novella so HOT! 🥵
I did scream at the end with the unexpected cliffhanger but have no fear the next book is coming soon!

As the second book in an interconnected novellas series with a fairly strong first book, I had high hopes for this one. When it came to introducing characters who will be the stars of the other novellas and including some intensely spicy scenes I thought it did really well. It wasn't as dark as the first book, but it there was one scene in particular that was disgustingly gory (that's not a bad thing, it served its purpose in the story).
Unfortunately though, I think there was a lot that could have been done differently to make this a stronger story. I would have liked to see the importance of fate be carried over from the first book. Liv and Hayes both feel a pull towards each other, but it's not explored much past that. It would have been nice to include the importance of fate since Hayes is a Valentine as well. There was also one particular death that I was disappointed in (I won't spoil it here) but not because of poor writing or anything, I just would have liked to see this character survive throughout the series longer.

If you’re looking for a gory, horror-filled, spicy Valentine’s Day romance then this is the book for you! Hayes and Liviana take it to the next level with their undeniable connection from the first second they lock eyes. This is a continuation/intertwined story with Bloody Valentine, and although this definitely stands alone you will have a lot more context to the characters if you read it first.
Also, at ~80 pages this book was definitely just a small teaser as it ends on a little bit of a cliffhanger with a callout to a follow up book coming later in 2025!

I enjoyed getting to know two more characters from the St Valentine series. I loved how Liv and Hayes story is an instant attraction with some possessive touch her and die vibes. I wasn’t expecting how it ended and now I can’t wait for the book to come out to get more of Liv’s story!

Another great part to the series! Beautifully wrote by an amazing author! Can’t wait to read the entire book! Hayes and Liviana are more alike than they know. Seeing them in the beginning playing games and ultimately in the end no one can touch the other but themselves or else… definitely one I couldn’t put down!

This was a fantastic seamless continuation of where we left off. In this story we learn more about Hayes and his role in all the chaos. Undoubtedly women and their effects they have on these men play a huge part in the story. The events are very much sinister and the anticipation is indescribable.
