“What will the others say when the unlovable prince has fallen in love?”
i’m sorry but i couldn’t keep going any longer.
i hate when potential is wasted.
this book had it in big amount, but it felt like reading 3 books in one.
there are plot holes—too much happens in a too little amount of time. i’m a big fan of short chapters and fast pacing, but this was too much even for me.
the whole thing was just confusing as fuck—too many creatures that made no sense together. i’m talking unicorns that bond fae, dark fae and non(?), vampires and smartphones and cars and tvs?
what the hell?
i tried to finish the book, i really did, but i wasn’t even liking one of the main characters!
arianna is just dumb—she has to make peace with her brain ‘cause i couldn’t keep up with her changing her mind at any minute.
and rain thinks with his dick and that’s it. every time he saw arianna his balls tightened. what the fuck? very charming.
and he gave us…🥁
✨NOTHING✨
the romance was atrocious—their dynamics terrible and didn’t even make sense (it was insta lust and insta love). at some point they even made out with a chocolate cake (now i get the dedication but the author ruined chocolate cakes for me).
and the crowd is… fucking disappointed! i feel like this was like a salad with too many ingredients that ruined the final taste (and i’m a picky eater)
i think i was keeping pushing through it because my curiosity was enough to make me read, you know? but at some point (and that point came too late in the book), i just didn’t give a flying fuck about how things could end. and i gave up. i didn’t have it in me to continue this torture—i love myself too much for that.
i’m sorry but i’ve read too many masterpieces to rate this more than 0 star, let alone to finish it. i can’t bring myself to consider this a decent read. IT IS NOT.
thank you to grey’s promotions and the author for this early copy of the book!

This book definitely had a unique take on the enemies to lovers and fantasy romance tropes. When you come into a book that’s promising kind of an edgy push and pull romance between sworn enemies, you pretty much already have an understanding of what the main plot points are going to be, which isn’t necessarily always a bad thing, but it makes finding a “unicorn” of a book like this (pun intended) so intriguing.
There is a lot of drama in the story and a lot of heat between the characters. They all have their own purpose and an agenda of sorts and we don’t always know the full extent of the story as we’re reading it, depending on perspective because this book is written in a dual POV. This creates for a prolonged tension and buildup throughout the story which we did get a little bit of an accelerated taste of in the beginning, which is something else that makes this book a bit unique. We see a connection between the characters at the origin of the story and then we get to see more in depth relationships between them as the story progresses through a span of prolonged time.
The world building is quite a bit of an out there concept but moving through the story it gets to be a bit hard to follow and can get slightly confusing at times. There are a lot of unanswered questions and elements that I think could have potentially been addressed to help the reader follow along a bit better. Of course this is a fantasy so, we are going to see some mythical creatures, but we don’t often see the use of some particular creatures in the Mainstream fantasy books which I think gives this story a little bit of an edge when it comes to the wow factor within this core theme.
Overall, I felt this was an almost intro fantasy. I think that the premise of this particular story could be brought out farther with more content dedicated to it, which is definitely always a good thing and I think that this would be a good read for someone who’s looking for a different type of fantasy recommendation that’s a little bit outside of the scope of what we see so often.

Crown of Night and Rain by Susan Person
The Night and Rain series book 1
Thank you to Grey's Promotions and Susan Person for entrusting me with an early copy!
Dedication: "For those interested in learning all the best ways to eat chocolate cake" 👀🤣
Dual POV, hidden identity, enemies to lovers, elemental magic, secrets, betrayal, more secrets, found family, fated mates, unicorn (!!) guardians that bond with them and can speak mind to mind with them
I couldn't put this book down! We get the impression early that there was much Ari didn't know and while I guessed much of what was coming, there was definitely a lot I didn't! There was danger and heartbreak mixed with family and wonder and I ate it up. Ari, while not thinking herself worthy, does a lot of stepping up and by the end we are seeing some amazing feminine rage 😍. Rain's POVs were short but intriguing as they gave pieces of the mystery while also showing us how hard he was falling. And the chocolate cake ❤️🔥. I'm excited for the next book and hope to learn even more about the unicorns too!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a fun read that had me on the edge of my seat a few times. The plot twist halfway through blew my mind! 🤯 I mean… my reaction was “HOW? How did it go by so undetected for so long?!” It does have an explanation, but I don’t want to give anything away! 😉😁
You immediately get the chemistry between Rain and Ari. You want them together no matter what happens. Once you find out what is truly going on you can’t even be mad because you know they belong together. ❤️ this book is one that I want to say so much but truly can’t because… SPOILERS… they would ruin the experience of reading it on your own.
That ending…definitely counting down until the next book because I NEED to have my heart put back together and their revenge served on a platter.

Really loved this book! Susan Person did an incredible job of writing a story with the perfect blend of fae, magic, unicorns, political intrigue, interesting side characters, and spice 🙌🏻 The FMC is so hilariously inappropriate. I really loved these characters and all the aspects of the storyline! If you love fun fantasy, steamy romance, and stories of betrayal that keep you intrigued the whole book, this one is for you.

I found Crown of Night and Rain to be quite interesting. I loved the world-building, the relationships, dialouge, and imagery. The writing style was vivid and interesting and the story was filled with heartbreak, action, magic, unicorns, vampires, far, and secrets. While there were some parts that were slow, overall, it was a great read. I can't wait for book 2.

This is a Romantasy book that follows Ari and Rain. Ari is a princess to a fae kingdom and Rain is a potential husband for her. Things begin happening in her world and she finds out not everything is what she thought it was. I enjoyed the book but felt like some parts were rushed and not explained well. It does end on a cliffhanger as there will be a second book.

This story had so many things I love in a romantasy read — age gap, enemies to lovers, fated mates, and a protective MMC (swoon). The emotional depth of both the main characters really stood out. The FMC and MMC felt well-developed, layered, and grounded in a way that made their connection believable and easy to get invested in. The writing itself is also beautifully done — lyrical at times, but never too flowery or hard to follow.
That said, I did find myself a bit tripped up by the worldbuilding. There were a lot of different types of magic introduced throughout the story, and while each was interesting on its own, together they felt like too much. At times, it seemed like the author was trying to include every magical concept in one book, which made the world feel a little chaotic and occasionally pulled me out of the story. Even so, not all of the magic elements felt overdone — the urban fantasy aspect, in particular, was really intriguing and ended up being a delightful surprise.
Overall, the core of the book — the romance, the emotional journey, and the character growth — really worked for me. It’s got the bones of a strong fantasy romance and hits several of my favorite tropes in a fresh way. I think readers who enjoy character-driven fantasy with a heavy dose of romantic tension and don’t mind a more chaotic magic system will find a lot to enjoy here.
As an ARC reader for this book, I would like to thank Susan Person and Grey’s Promotions for providing the opportunity to review this book.

I am thrilled that I was offered an ARC of Crown of Night and Rain. This was my first foray into any of Susan Person’s worlds. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This book embodies the perfect blend of fae, elves, unicorns and vampires. Full of political intrigue and shocking revelations. The magic system was phenomenal, encompassing a lot of the elemental magic qualities with some enhancements. The world Person crafted is equally vibrant and dangerous. I will say that it took me a bit to connect some of the dots; but when I did, boy was I gobsmacked.
I felt the characters were well rounded and the banter between Ari and Rain was incredible and the spice is perfect! Let’s just say, I may not look at chocolate cake in the same light ever again 😂
If you want a fast paced Romantasy that’s on the lighter side with fated mates, enemies to lovers, a protective MMC, touch her and ☠️, found family (literally), bonded unicorns, fae and vampires; then don’t hesitate to pick up this book.
A huge thank to Grey’s Promotions and Susan Person for allowing me the opportunity to read an advance copy.

*ARC REVIEW* I’ve gotten so used to a slow burn, I forgot what it was like to witness enemies to lovers to enemies again to lovers AGAIN lol. Fae, vampires, and a little goddess action, yes please. Badassery as a genetic trait passed thru female heirs, yes please x2. This one definitely had a good twist I didn’t expect, world building was just enough to not take up too much time or drag the story (although would love a good map). This one definitely grabbed me right away & was quick paced, which was a nice change for a fantasy series premiere.

From the very first page, I was captivated by the intricate story that the author created.
The story unfolds around a wickedly charming prince, Rainier, who turns Arianna’s world upside down the moment he steps onto the page. His presence is both magnetic and treacherous, instantly provoking a whirlwind of emotions that tugged at my heartstrings and challenge my will to sleep 😜
As an abandoned princess from a once glorious kingdom, Arianna had learned to navigate the treacherous waters of betrayal and deceit. But Rainier’s arrival signals the beginning of her greatest challenge yet. He has a mission, one that involves forcibly taking her throne and completely upending her life. The tension is palpable, and the stakes have never been higher.
Arianna, a fragile, forgotten princess, adds layers of complexity to the story. Her predicament elicits both sympathy and intrigue, as she grapples with her own identity while caught in the web of family obligations. She grow in the book, and becomes a character that’s formidable in her own right.
The pacing of the novel is perfect, with each chapter leaving me hungry for more. The kingdoms collide, and I felt the weight of each secret unraveling. The world-building is exquisite, from the magical elements tied to fae-kind to the grim realities of war that are on the horizon. Unicorns/fae/elves/vampires and a dark goddess are all in this book, I love a book with lots of different species, not just one or two.
One of the most striking aspects of this first book in the series is the dynamic relationship between Arianna, and Rainier. There’s an undeniable tension that dances in the air, fraught with equal measures of animosity and chemistry. Can she really open her heart to the charming prince, or will she meet her demise at the end of her own dagger?
The author expertly weaves these conflicting emotions, leaving me on the edge of my seat, desperate to unravel the mystery of their intertwined fates.
In conclusion, “Crown of Night and Rain" is an exhilarating start to a new series that promises to explore the depths of love, loyalty, and the price of power.
I found myself utterly absorbed in its pages.
I eagerly await the next chapter in this captivating saga!

This story pulled me in immediately and held my attention until the very end! I was fully immersed into a beautiful, fantasy world that showcased creatures that all worked well together within the same storyline. The dynamic relationship between our MCs ebbed and flowed beautifully throughout and had me salivating for more of these two. Even beyond the amazing storyline, the world building is outstanding, creating a description that is easy to imagine and surround myself with. My imagination was stretched to its max as I envisioned this world Susan Person created within Crown of Night and Rain.
The way my heart went out to Arianna almost immediately in this book! She has been through so much and the hits just keep on coming. She starts out as seemingly weak, broken, and unable to do anything for herself. As this story progresses she becomes a character who holds so much strength and fight that I couldn’t believe it was the same person. Her growth in this story is unparalleled to any other character I have ever read before. I want, no need, more of her and to see what her full potential unlocked looks like.
Rainier is the character who I didn’t immediately care for, but as his storyline deepened and progressed, became someone who I loved. He shows up almighty, deserves everything, and treats people as such. But as more becomes known and secrets unravel, you discover there is more driving him than meets the eye and his demeanor is carefully crafted for those who are watching him and want to cause him harm as well.
The tension was palpable in this story as our two MCs grew closer and closer. As Arianna and Rainier fight battles, both seen and unseen, the complex storyline holds your attention from beginning to end. The themes include the price of power, the depths love will go for someone, and the importance of being true to yourself and believing in yourself are woven perfectly throughout this story as well. Susan delivered an amazing story and book one in her newest series. I am so ready for more!

I absolutely loved this book! I was instantly hooked learning about Arianna, why her sister left years ago, and her bond with an unicorn. This book is very long but that didn't bother me. It felt like 2 or 3 books in one with just how much happened! But it ended on a cliffhanger and I'm ready for the next book NOW!
Rainer had an instant attraction to Arianna. But he holds a secret and can't tell her before he leaves for war. Arianna is surprisingly falling for this possible betrothed, but still has her guard up. Their romance is quick and cute and hade me smile so much! But when her father is going to go with Rainer to war, Arianna has been promoted to Reagent and is now alone. Enter part 2! So many twists and turns, Rainer has become the enemy and can Arianna forgive him? And what of the battle and her father? I was kept on my toes the whole time! Oh, and remember that sister in the beginning that ran away several years ago? More on that in part 3! Just when you think you know what's going to happen next, you get thrown a curve ball and I was enjoying every second of it!
I wish there were more details or we spent more time with the world of her kingdom, the bonding with unicorns, the history with the unicorns, and the history of the vampires. Some parts felt a little lacking so I'm hoping we get more information in book 2. Personally I'm not a big fan when modern word things appear in fantasy books, but I didn't mind this one as much. Yes, you get some technology by the end, but there are still twists of magic and fantasy into the world that it's unique. I also wanted more time with Drew. He's mentioned so many times but you really only see him once. When he's gone or missing or in hiding, it's hard to really feel anything about it because you never really interacted with him.
This book has:
- Enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers
- Dual POV
- Banter
- Instant attraction
- Elemental Magic
- Secrets/Hidden Identity
- Unicorn Bonds
- Vampires
- Fae/Elves
- Politics
- Modern Technology with Magic

✨ "Crown of Night and Rain" by Susan Person is an enchanting fantasy romance that swept me away from the first page. This first installment in The Night and Rain Series masterfully blends political intrigue, magic, and heart-stopping romance.

⚔️ The pacing expertly balances action scenes with character development, while strategically placed reveals about the threats to fae-kind build toward a satisfying conclusion that leaves readers eager for the next installment. At 360 pages, this book proves to be a stellar example of fantasy romance done right, offering everything genre fans love while maintaining its unique identity.
🧚♀️ This is a must-read for fans of fantasy romance who enjoy strong heroines, protective heroes, and plots that perfectly balance political intrigue with romantic development.

ARC Review: Crown of Night and Rain
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Spice: 🌶️🌶️
“He’s a wickedly charming prince who’ll sooner meet the end of my dagger before capturing my heart.” That line perfectly sets the tone for this addictive start to the Night and Rain series. Susan Person weaves a compelling tale of betrayal, reluctant alliances, and slow-burning chemistry in a richly imagined world that masterfully blends fantasy with surprising hints of modern tech.
From the very beginning, the story hooks you with its fast-paced narrative and high stakes. Arianna is a fierce, stubborn heroine who’s been thrust into a reality where nothing is as it seems—not her kingdom, not her throne, and certainly not Prince Rainier. He’s layered, charming in the most infuriating way, and surprisingly honorable despite the lies that surround him.
The world-building is impressive, with a unique spin that avoids typical fae clichés. The integration of magical elements and advanced technology adds a fresh edge to the political tension and the unraveling mystery at the heart of the plot. The slow-burn romance is satisfying—well-developed without rushing, and it only enhances the emotional depth of the story.
With a twist that will leave your jaw on the floor and a well-executed cliffhanger, Crown of Night and Rain is a must-read for fans of fae fantasy, enemies-to-lovers romance, and fast-paced storytelling with emotional weight. I’ll definitely be grabbing the next book. Releases on 5/8!

“I loved you before I knew you were my mate, and I’ll love you if some seer says it’s not true. I’ve known I wanted to be with you from the moment you spoke the first day we met.”
If you fast paced Romantasy with political intrigue, fated mates, found family, a protective MMC, and unexpectedly twists then this book is for you. This book had elemental magic system with some upgrades. The world is vibrant, dangerous, and intriguing but not fully immersive. Susan Person was able to perfectly fuse together Fae, Unicorn, Elves, and Vampires.
Arianna is not your typically princess but definitely steps up in the to strong FMC role when needed. She is more than what she is originally given credit for and most likely have yet to see. The relationship between her and her bonded Unicorn is an interesting addition to the story. I look forward to finding out more about the Unicorns and the bonding between them.
Both MMC have good emotional depth giving them a believable connection. The banter between them is strong and inappropriately funny at times.
This is a strong first book in a character driven Romantasy that I fully enjoyed. It does have a slight cliffhanger at the end in order to prep us for book 2.

👑 CROWN OF NIGHT AND RAIN 🌙
🔥 By Susan Person 🔥
An exiled princess. A ruthless prince. A throne built on secrets and lies.
✨ Enemies-to-lovers. Fated mates. Betrayal & forbidden desire. ✨
The moment Prince Rainier stormed into my life, everything I thought I knew began to unravel. A wickedly charming prince from a kingdom long at war with my own, he’s determined to take everything from me—my throne, my freedom, my future.
But if he thinks I’ll surrender without a fight, he’s more foolish than I thought.
Arianna is a lost princess of a forgotten kingdom, abandoned and betrayed by those who should have protected her. And when my sister-in-law begs me to save her, I have no choice but to intervene.
Even if she wants me dead before she’ll ever accept the truth of her existence.
⚔️ Kingdoms collide as war brews in the shadows.
🔥 Fate has bound us together, but will it save us or destroy us?
💔 To survive, Arianna must trust the one man she hates the most.
📖 Perfect for fans of dark fantasy romance, morally grey heroes, and powerful heroines who refuse to break!

Happy release day @susanwritespnr ! I can’t wait for everyone to pick up this amazing romantasy!
Crown of Night and Rain is the first in the new Night and Rain series. This’s a forbidden, enemies to lovers, fated mates romantasy between Ari and Rain.
I really felt for Ari. She is thrown into so many complex situations and the only knowledge she thinks she has, is actually a lie. She really has to decide for herself who is actually trustworthy, who deserves her love and loyalty, all the while growing stronger in not only her powers, but herself in general. I really loved how her story starts, and I think so many people will relate to her just as much as I did.
Just like Ari, Rain has so much responsibility to his loved ones, and he really struggles with the fact that over time, Ari is included in that group he loves and wants to protect. And I loved how patient he is with her as he opens her eyes to the true nature of people she thought she could trust. I loved how the more he fell for her, the more he would do anything for her, and I think readers will fall just as hard for him as I did.
Thank you to @susanwritespnr and @greyspromo for my arc, I loved every second I spent in this amazing world!
Crown of Night and Rain is now available to download on all book vendors💗

Rainier arrived at the Kingdom of Love and Prosper knowing his heart is filled with dark secrets he can’t allow anyone to unravel. What he wasn’t expecting was the indescribable pull he has towards Crown Princess Arianna. A Great War threatens Ari’s kingdom and though she refuses to understand his reasons, he’s there to save her at his sister-in-law’s request. Rain quickly realizes he’ll tear the world apart for Ari. The only problem is, will she be able to trust him enough to accept the truth?
.
I know I’ve said it a lot this year but I DEVOURED this book. Absolutely devoured. My flabbers were gasted, my heart ached, I swooned… An absolutely fascinating novel that kept me turning pages until I reached that damn edge of a cliffhanger. Left me hanging on by a thread. I’m going to need book two to come rescue me asap, thanks. 😍

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️
Thank you Grey’s Promotions for giving me the opportunity to read this book ahead of time, I had a blast!
If you love fated mates, a strong FMC and a touch of magic then boy oh boy is this book for you! This book was a solid read and I cannot wait to get a chance to read the next book! I loved Ari as a character so much, her agency almost never faltered throughout the book and that’s what really kept me entertained. The world building was quite beautiful, I wish I could’ve seen more of it. But I would definitely read the next in the series because things are JUST starting to heat up!
The only things I wish would’ve come out of this book a little more was Ari’s anger. I feel like she should’ve stayed angrier for longer when kidnapped and brought to the Kingdom of Storms as she was considering poison and that small plot line vanished within a matter of days. However, this book was still an excellent read and I’m so excited to read the next one!
Crown of Night and Rain is the first book in the Night and Rain series from the Empire of Curses and Dreams world by Susan Person.

This is the first book I have ever read by Susan Person and I loved it! I would definitely like to see this made into a tv show. I love when chapters are short and that made the chapters really easy to follow.
I liked Rain from the very beginning and I loved Ari. She is headstrong and wise beyond her years. These two definitely deserve a happy ending because after everything they both endured. I loved the twist about halfway through the book. I had a feeling that someone , I’m not going to say who because you need to read this book, was up to no good from the very beginning. The twist wasn’t necessarily in plain sight but there were signs! It was very fast paced but I think everything was timed well. I also liked how the book was split up into 3 parts. Where they started, during all the chaos, and the after math. From the moment that Rain and Ari met to the cliffhanger at the very end, Susan how could you do that to me!? Overall, I am super excited for the prequel and I can’t wait to learn about Gemma’s , Ari’s sister, story.
Also, I now need to go out and buy a chocolate cake 🍫

This is book 1 in the crown of Night and Rain Series. It is a must to read in order so you understand the world and magic system.
Why I really enjoyed this series:
-Rain and Arianna had a very unusual first meeting and their relationship grew over time.
-Arianna's character had a massive amount of growth over this first book. Her sassy attitude was a favorite component of her character.
-There is a scene in the story where Ari walks in on her bonded and the aftermath.... I cracked up hard!
-I love the world and the bonding way with the Unicorns.
-Chocolate cake...
-The different realms and the technology differences were fun and to watch the characters reactions to them made me giggle.
-The cliffhanger..........
-I am excited to get back to this world in then next book.
This is a story for fantasy lovers and people while love to have an open mind with this genre. I thought this book was very original and really enjoyed the read. Were there unanswered questions...yes. But I have faith that Susan will come back with book 2 and put together our story with a much needed HEA!

I'll be honest in that I truly struggled with this story. I think it was the pace and setup of the story, but I found my mind wondering and just not connecting with the characters. I appreciated the attempt of depth and layers of secrets and deceit happening. But this story needed to decide what time frame it wanted to stay in and what it wanted to accomplish.
It felt a bit ridiculous that a kingdom had been hidden for 25+ years, and when the main character crosses her boundaries, she's thrown into the 21st century. I needed the story to pick a time frame and stay loyal. I hated that the characters were trying to introduce technology because magic was slowly leaving the realm.
I personally hated the main characters' lack of trust and decision-making. I was often reminded that she was angry and not willing to trust, but I didn't feel like she had a real reason for this animosity. I felt like I was being pushed into feelings and emotions within the story because it was being forced into one direction. There was something off, and the story just needed more time to marinate. There is a solid foundation being created, but too many other details got thrown into the mix. I just struggled getting into the story or even cheering on the characters. Unfortunately, this book was just not for me.

This is my first Susan Person read and will not be my last. My fantasy reads are very limited but this story was so magical! Enemies to lovers, fated mates, bonded, protective mmc!
Rain is beyond swoon worthy. I was suspicious in the beginning as it was clear he had motives but I wasn’t sure if he was gonna be a villain in Ari’s story or he was just needing to be shady for a reason.
Ari is a badass and while it took a bit of a journey for her she really grew into this character that you could continue loving and rooting for, she doesn’t really have any flaws. Did I mention she’s badass lol
The side characters are chefs kiss. I mean unicorns….fae..there’s even a vampire thrown in that you couldn’t help but get attached to even in a short period of time. Of course there plenty of people to hate and want dead also!
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series as it left on a minor cliffhanger.

This book completely swept me away! Crown of Night and Rain is a beautifully written enemies-to-lovers romantasy that I just could not put down. The world is full of magical fae, bonded unicorn guardians (yes, unicorns!), and high-stakes royal drama. After her sister’s disappearance, Princess Arianna is next in line for the throne—and now she has to figure out how to control her wild, powerful magic.
Enter Rainier, a potential suitor who’s equal parts mysterious and magnetic. Ari can’t help but be drawn to him… but of course, he’s hiding something big. Once all the secrets come out, Ari is forced to make some huge decisions about who she wants to be, who she wants to protect, and how she’s going to handle the power she never asked for.
I was hooked from start to finish, and now I’m absolutely dying for the sequel. That cliffhanger? Brutal. I need answers ASAP!

I as so glad I was given the opportunity to read an ARC of this book; I was completely engrossed from the first page to the last. What seems at first to be a somewhat typical fantasy romance, turns out to be so much more. There is romance, but also magic in a complex world of fae, elves, vampires, unicorns and even a dark goddess who makes an appearance. I particularly enjoyed the fast-paced dialog between Arianna and Raine, it was entertaining and sometimes quite amusing, but all of the characters are beautifully written and compelling with fascinating and well-defined personalities. Political intrigue, violent battles, and so many unexpected and surprising twists and turns in the plot that I was left reeling. I highly recommend this book to other readers and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC recieved from Grey's Promothions.

Holy freaking fae!
This story was special. From the characters to the story to the banter to the magic, I was sucked into this world from the first page.
It’s a bit too of a Beauty and the Beast retelling with fated mates, enemies to lovers, a heroine that finds her strength, and a protective hero. Of course there are also themes of sacrifice, protection, leadership, strength, and love. Each is an important step in shaping Ari and Rain’s relationship and growth.
Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like was that it ended on a cliffhanger and I wanted the full story now! But I’d read it again, even though I usually can’t stand cliffhangers, because it was that good. This was also my first Susan Person book, and now I can’t wait to good read all of her others. If they are half as good as this book, I’m nit sure I’ll have time to read anything else. Join the Court of Storms for an exciting, rollercoaster of a story!

Enemies to lovers written in a unique style that had me biting my nails so often that I needed to do my nails twice while reading. The tension and the world-building were intense and intriguing. The plot twists and characters are so complex that every turn and decision is simply mind-blowing.
The chemistry between Rain and Ari is so hot! I can't have enough!!
