I went into this one totally blind besides my knowledge of it being a Christian contemporary romance, and it threw me for the best loop
The movie-style flashbacks told between parts of her testimony was so natural and really brought the story together.
MFC is super relatable!! I especially appreciated her disdain for figuring out a fancy coffee maker in her desperation for caffeine. I loved the dialogue the MFC has with herself throughout the story, it made me laugh & cry a lot.
There were many surprisingly intense parts, and a very honest perspective from the MFC through each of her trials.
It was refreshing to have a MMC that was healing to the MFC instead of the typical morally grey bad boy.
I was totally nervous that she was not going to get a happy ending as I read through the first 3 quarters of the story, but I was over the moon by the end!
I thought that the names of the chapters in relation to the title was super clever.
The final page brought me to tears! (iykyk) * * * (This ARC was provided free of charge, and all opinions expressed are my own)
This was a lovely Christian contemporary romance, and I really enjoyed it.
I loved the FMC‘s journey and growth, and her emotional and spiritual healing. She had experienced some rough things in her life and you could see why she made certain choices and decisions that weren’t always the best.
There were some heartbreaking and raw moments, but I loved how the story ended on an upbeat, positive note.
I thought the faith element was nicely done. It was portrayed positively without being pushy or preachy.
Overall, this was an engaging and nicely written story, with a beautiful message.
What a beautiful story of hope, faith and moving forward with your life. I found myself fully invested in our FMC story, and enjoyed reading her journey of finding God. Her testimony was so strong. This book isn’t just a romance, it’s a story of finding yourself, finding what you’re meant to do and trusting that God will always provide a way.

I really don't know where to start with this review. I finished the book and then I just sat there, staring into space, as I tried to come up with the right words.
I guess I'll jump right in with this disclaimer......no matter what it looks like with my next couple of sentences, this is NOT a bad review, please keep reading.
Okay, so here we go, starting off with some honesty here. I was actually unsure about this story when I first began reading. I got a little bit into it and was thinking that maybe this book just wasn't for me. But I decided to keep going and I am beyond glad that I did.
So all that being said, my heart still hasn't fully recovered from the trip that it took in this book. I'm not complaining though because what a beautiful trip that it was.
Though, it was a trip full of heart wrenching moments, it was also honest and real, and had just the right amount of humor to help lighten the mood a bit.
This was a story about redemption, moving through past pain and grief, God finding you and then finding one's self.
This book is definitely worth the read. Just be prepared to have to put the pieces of your heart back together when you're done.
The author's writing is well done and kept me drawn into the story. I can't wait to see what other books she puts out there in the future.
I received an advanced review copy of this book. This review is my honest opinion and thoughts
Literally went into this read blind. But boy was I greatly surprised!
It’s a gritty redemption story written so well and tastefully—not shying away from tough topics. But also not being an overly preaching representation of Christianity. Those books tend to read better.
She’s written the flashbacks and present too and fro well that doesn’t throw you off or make it janky to follow.
Dialogue was real and relatable as was the banter.
Main Characters were lovable and easy to root for.
