Millions of people oppose Trumpism. Few know how to fight it effectively.
The Resistance Playbook is a strategic guide for those who refuse to let authoritarianism take root. Protest alone is not enough—history shows that successful movements require organization, discipline, and a clear plan. This book lays out the essential framework for building a resistance that can outlast and outmaneuver Trumpism at every level.
Inside, you’ll find a cohesive strategy for action—how to build movement infrastructure, develop leadership, coordinate efforts across local and national levels, and apply pressure where it matters most. It explains how resistance movements succeed, why organization is essential, and what it will take to force Trumpism into retreat.
This isn’t about fleeting outrage. It’s about sustained resistance.
If you’re ready to stop reacting and start building power, this book will show you how.
I struggled a bit with how to rate The Resistance Playbook, but I think 3.5 stars is a fair landing spot. This is an incredibly easy book to read—laid out in clear, concise chapters that feel more like a tactical manual than traditional prose. Much of the content is presented in outline form, with bullet points that break down complex ideas into digestible, actionable pieces. For readers who need to adjust quickly or want to absorb key concepts without wading through filler, that format makes a lot of sense.
The accessibility here is one of the book’s strongest features. It’s straightforward, practical, and unpretentious. You could easily read it in one sitting and walk away with real, usable strategies.
That said, there’s a part of me that questions whether this qualifies as a full “book.” At just 84 pages—many of which are light on text—it almost feels like a printed blog series or a well-designed workbook. There’s nothing wrong with the content itself; it’s solid, insightful, and well-organized. But the brevity made it feel just a little too easy at times, like I was left wanting just a bit more depth or reflection.
Still, if you’re looking for a no-fluff guide that’s clear, purposeful, and surprisingly thorough in its short form, The Resistance Playbook delivers. It’s not a literary heavyweight, but it doesn’t try to be. It’s direct, tactical, and written for readers who are ready to act.
This is a well organized guidebook for all of us who are sickened by the destructive, Autocratic Regime we’re currently living under. You can tell by the specific advice and recommendations that the Author provides that he’s been around the block a couple of times.
Having helped organize Political Campaigns in the past I can say that the techniques described are comprehensive and practical. Of particular value are his warnings of the problems of fatigue, burnout, and loss of interest that are typical killers once the initial flame of enthusiasm begins to flicker out. his suggested solutions are spot on.
All in all this is a valuable resource for anyone interested in forming a Resistance effort on a Local, State, or even National level. If not now, when?! Four Stars! ****
This book lays out a well thought out structure to mount an effective resistance against trumpism. I see why one person commented that it should be outlawed. The structure, when enacted, will be powerful and practically undefeatable.
