Deciding to come back to find my brother’s murderer?
Easy.
Staying away from the one who could get me killed?
Not so easy.
Eden
Nine years ago, I ran from this city. Now, I’ve returned to find my brother’s murderer.
To do that, I take his place as Gilly’s owner-operator – the one place in San Francisco’s criminal underworld where it’s a neutral zone, and there’s a clear you-shall-not-cross line drawn between me and the criminals.
That is, until Vito Santoro…
To him, I’m his Garden of Eden, and he was made to sin with me.
Vito
I’m the protector of my mafia family, and they come first. And that’s fine because I’m a one-and-done man and no woman has captured my interest for more.
But when I lay eyes on Gilly’s new owner-operator–the forbidden fruit that could result in my death–I can’t stay away. I promise myself one bite. Then two.
And when those who killed her brother target her… Well, then, my unhinged beast comes out to play.
Because Eden is mine. My forbidden fruit. My one-and-forever. My undoing. And I’ll paint the world red for her.

Dive into Vito, the captivating 2nd book in the mafia romance Santoro Mafia series, which features Vito and Eden’s story. It includes an MMC with possessive, “touch her and I’ll unalive you” vibes. There’s no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a HEA is guaranteed. This is a standalone book; however, for the best reading experience, it’s suggested to read the books in order.

Lora Nox raises the stakes in *Vito*, the second entry in the Santoro Mafia series, delivering a dark, emotional romance wrapped in danger, loyalty, and temptation. This story centers on Vito Santoro, a man forged by the brutal rules of the underworld, whose life takes an unexpected turn when a cryptic final call pulls him into protecting a woman who was never meant to matter to him. What unfolds is a volatile mix of desire, duty, and impossible choices that kept me completely locked in.
Eden Fallen never wanted to return to the city that took everything from her, but inheriting her brother’s bar—the only place untouched by faction lines—forces her back into the heart of the chaos. As the new owner of neutral ground, she’s suddenly at the center of every criminal power play, even as she hunts for answers about her brother’s death. Vito is assigned to watch over her, and what begins as a necessary arrangement quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. Their connection burns hot and fast, fueled by stolen moments, restraint constantly tested, and emotions neither of them planned to confront. Eden’s resilience and sharp spine make her impossible to intimidate, while Vito’s unwavering focus on her safety reveals a softer side beneath his lethal reputation.
The story moves seamlessly between high-risk confrontations and deeply personal moments, building tension both in the streets and between the characters. Just when it seems like escape might be possible, the truth about Eden’s brother surfaces, dragging them into a race against time with deadly consequences. Vito’s willingness to turn his back on everything he was born into for the woman he loves made their struggle hit even harder, and Eden’s refusal to be a passive pawn only strengthened their bond. This series continues to shine with layered characters, emotional depth, and an addictive overarching plot that sets up what’s still to come.
The audiobook performance by Mollie Stark and Tor Thom elevates the experience even further, bringing intensity, vulnerability, and chemistry to life in a way that’s impossible to ignore. Their narration adds an entirely new layer to the story—Tor Thom’s voice captures Vito’s controlled menace and quiet devotion flawlessly, while Mollie Stark gives Eden a perfect balance of strength, emotion, and fire. The dual narration sharpens the emotional beats, heightens the danger, and makes the romance feel even more intimate and real. Every chapter feels immersive and cinematic, drawing the listener fully into the Santoro world. This installment cemented the Santoro men as elite book-boyfriend material, and Vito’s story is one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
Lora Nox delivers another intense and gripping mafia romance in Vito (Santoro Mafia: Book 2), immersing readers in a world of power, loyalty, and forbidden passion. This second installment in the Santoro Mafia series focuses on Vito, a ruthless yet complex enforcer for the Santoro family, and his unlikely connection with a woman who challenges everything he stands for.
Nox masterfully blends action, suspense, and steamy romance, creating a narrative that keeps readers on edge. Vito is portrayed as a hardened man shaped by violence, yet beneath his lethal exterior lies a sense of protectiveness and vulnerability that makes him an intriguing and layered protagonist. His relationship with the heroine is intense and emotionally charged, filled with tension, push-and-pull dynamics, and undeniable chemistry.
The novel’s pacing is well-executed, balancing high-stakes mafia conflicts with deeply personal moments that allow for character development. Nox’s writing style is engaging, with vivid descriptions and dialogue that bring the world of the Santoro Mafia to life. Fans of dark romance and mafia fiction will appreciate the authenticity of the criminal underworld and the moral dilemmas the characters face.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Eden is chosen as successor of a neutral bar where criminals hang out. Think The Continental Hotel from John Wick. She has to be neutral, no killing, fighting, etc. But, her brother was killed there as he was the keeper before her, and she's mainly there to find his killer. Vito was the last person her brother called before he died.
This is a forbidden romance with good plot development and well written mostly. The reason for a lower rating is mostly my irritation. She kept calling him a cunt. By the word count, it was 42 times.
**Safety**There's also a scene where he's drunk and passed out at his dad's funeral, and ex-fwb starts giving him a bj. It was non consensual, and he was mad. The fmc saw. (they weren't together yet). He hadn't tried to be with anyone since he saw the fmc. I think the scene was added as a shock factor because his cousin brought the girl. Who brings a girl to give a bj at a funeral at their family home.

First of all - holy shit Lora Nox where have you been hiding! Second - OMFG! ..ok let me try again.. the FMC- Eden "Ed" is a fucking BADASS! I want to be like her when I grow up! Mollie Stark - ma'am, I am in awe of you! I have listened to you narrate before and am NEVER disappointed! You brought Eden to life for me! *chef's kiss*
Tor Thom, SIR! I -- no words! You're voice for Vito - TOP NOTCH! The grit and growl ... *also, chef's kiss* Thoroughly enjoyed this!
As always ya'll check your trigger warnings - unless you are like me and raw dog it and see them as a menu rather than warning ha! ( all seriousness though, your mental health matters!)
Thank you so much @loranoxauthor for sending me this arc! The storyline of the book is very interesting and slightly addicting, making it hard to put down. Truth be told, I found myself liking Massimo more than Vito, and I can't wait to delve into his story. I absolutely cannot wait for history story @loranoxauthor !! Even, the female main character-Eden, was a strong and relatable figure who knew when to act tough and when to hold back, embodying what a real strong woman is like. However, I did notice a lot of repetition in the narrative, particularly with Vito's language and the constant sexual innuendos, which became somewhat annoying. Additionally, I found the names and various crime factions a bit confusing at times.
Overall, though, it was a good read that kept me engaged.

*I was given this book as an eArc but my review is based solely on my own thoughts and opinions*
I rate this book a 3.5 personally but a 4 for what I think dark reader lovers will rate it.
It was good, a little slow at first but it picks up like around the 30-40% mark. This is the second book in the series, I did not read the first but I was able to comprehend this story just fine. I normally don’t mind when a man falls first and hard but it was a little off that he does that only off of a brief like 30 second phone call, he’s obsessed with her just from that, kinda hard to believe. Kinda through me off. However I like his attraction to Eden throughout the book. For those wanting to read, the story is they cannot be together but they want to be, so it’s a lot of push and pull and will they won’t they. I appreciate that Eden is curvy, they deserve more representation in books. The use of the C word, I felt was overused. The author does a great job with mafia stuff info haha like betrayals, competitors, torture, talking business, etc, you get it. There’s a lot of characters and groups that are mentioned which makes it hard to keep up and remember at times but I appreciate the intricacies of the story. It does have a happy ending. The sexy parts are feral, enjoy! Lol
Vito is the unhinged protector of the Santoro family. He gets a mysterious call from Aiken, the proprietor of Gilly's, that turns his life on its ear by: Vito call Ed. Ed turns out to be his obsession that he can't knock. Danger lurks around every corner with the need to keep secrets and hidden. This is a must-read. Can't wait for book 3.
Okay this is WAY too instalust within the first five chapters, like I’m talking in his first interaction, he had a less than 30 second phone call with the fmc and was hard? She had maybe spoken all of ten words and he’s already bricked up? Yeah, no. I was gonna let the instalust go, but then the fmc referred to her anatomy as her cooch. 😒
Lora Nox knows how to write a mafia series! I loved this storyline. Two people not looking for love especially since it is forbidden with what roles Vito and Eden are in. The tension is built beautifully between Vito and Eden all while we still get an incredible (as incredible as criminal activity can be) story.
Tor Thom and Mollie Stark were incredible! I really loved how well the both of them brought each character to life! Tor Thom has this incredibly deep and rich voice, and I loved Mollie Stark's raspy voice.
Mini Audiobook Review of Vito by Lora Nox Book two in the Santoro Mafia series Release Date: February 10th Performed in duet by Mollie Stark & Tor Thom
Eden, aka ED, has returned to the city she swore she would never return to after running away 9 years ago. When she gets an unexpected call and email from her murdered brother, he left her with a huge responsibility. She is honoring his wishes, but only to find out who killed him and get justice her way. Now that she is the city's owner and operator of Gilly's, the neutral zone for San Fran's most dangerous criminals, she has a responsibility to this establishment while she investigates what really happened to her brother. The rules of owning a neutral zone? No favoritism. No fraternizing with any of the mafia families, as it shows favoritism. And absolutely NO dating anyone within those mafia families. Then Vito frickin Santoro decides to step in and makes things very complicated. He thinks he can take the Garden of Eden, and she wants nothing but to let him take a bite and plant his seed.
Vito Santoro is a beast of a man. He is the protector, the enforcer, and the punisher of his mafia family, second to his newly appointed older brother as Don, now that their father succumbed to his disease. He only cares about his family, and women are a one-and-done. No feelings, no attachments, until Eden walks into his life, and he has never wanted to walk into a garden and taste forbidden fruit so much in his life. He wanted a bite, and he wasn't going to stop until he got it. When Vito wants something, he gets it. The problem is that it would put both their lives in danger, and her life is already in danger running Gilly's, and he will stop at nothing to protect what he claims as his. He will blow up the whole city to protect her, because he claims her as HIS.
Book 2 did not disappoint. Check your triggers because this action-packed dark romance has a lot of them. The spice is a slowburn but when it hits, it's hot. Eden is no soft flower; she has thorns and bites, which makes Vito even more interested, since he is brutal and the craziest when it comes to getting information from enemies and torturing them before he makes them disappear. Although the romance took a while to develop, the storyline flowed throughout, and Eden reveals a troubling past that unexpectedly comes back to haunt her. As strong as she is, she is still human, and horrific things happened to her from people who were meant to love and protect her. There are some flashbacks to her past, and they are disturbing. She has a found family that adopted her when she ran away, albeit a dangerous and twisted one, but the Santoro family is also very strong, and when they accept people into their family, they protect their own.
A huge thank you to the producers of this audiobook, Bluenoseaudio, and to the Author, Lora Nox, for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Shout out to the fantastic narration by voice actors Mollie Stark & Tor Thom

Audiobook Review: Produced by Blue Nose Audio: Performed in duet by: ✨Mollie Stark ✨Tor Thom
Vito is the second installment of The Santoro Mafia series by Lora Nox. And, this book was everything I could’ve hoped for and so much more.
Filled with deception, secrets and mystery. An achingly beautiful slow burn romance that will have you on the edge of your seat for the duration of your listen. Incredible character dynamics and drama. With the intriguing and immersive narrative, dark, twisting plot-line, slow burn, heated romance, incredibly crafted characters performed by breathtaking and truly phenomenal voice acting.
This brilliant series continues with an incredible audio experience that will have you begging for more!
Tor Thom, is phenomenal in his portrayal of Vito as Well as the entire male cast. This is my first experience listening to this actor & I am completely blown away! He has such a unique voice that differs perfectly with each character. Deep gravely & darkly captivating, what an incredible talent! Wow! I am completely hooked...
Mollie Stark will always be a favorite of mine. She has the ability to create the perfect scene with unmatched emotional depth, incredible strength of character and sublime energy that is beautifully immersive and full of powerful emotion. And. As always, she has done an outstanding job with this performance.
Lora Nox has given us such brilliant insight into this amazing world she has built, the complexity of the narrative is awe inspiring. And, the beautiful and compelling characters are inspiring and portrayed by phenomenal voice actors.
I can’t wait for the continuation of this series especially on audiobook.
A Truly an incredible audio experience from beginning to end. I loved every single moment…

Quotes:
"I love you." "You're still a fu*king cu*t." "But I love you so goddamn much it scares me."
"It's you and me, Eden. Forever. Wherever we need to go to have that."
"Fu*king twisted traitor cooch."
She’s gorgeous, her decadent body made for sinning, and she's fearlessly standing in a room full of the most dangerous people in the city with loaded weapons pointing at her—my cock is the hardest it's maybe ever been. And I'm having a hard time controlling the lust clawing through me.
I previously read this book and can say listening to this on audio and the narration absolutely worked with the story. Tor Thom was outstanding, his ability to give each character a distinct voice made it incredibly immersive and easy to follow, which was important with such a large cast! And Mollie stark was equally impressive! Bringing strength, emotion and control to Eden’s perspective. Her performance perfectly captured her.
Vito is an intense, morally gray enforcer and you feel his danger, while the Eden is not a passive counterpart but is strong, self aware and very much in control of her own choices. Eden (Ed) is dealing with her own trauma and obligations which adds to their dynamic, which is charged and compelling without relying on unnecessary drama. Their forbidden romance isn’t easy.. it’s a slow burn with electric chemistry and has emotional weight that made their connection feel worth the wait with both in plot and passion. Their forbidden connection breaks rules in their world, which makes their slow burn romance all the more compelling. It’s not a standard forbidden romance and I loved that!
I love Lora Nox’s writing, she has a way of pulling you into the story without you even realizing it. Her writing always feels natural and immersive. I really like how she builds tension and emotion gradually instead of being rushed. She writes morally gray characters in a way that makes them feel dangerous but still easy to connect to and this is no exception!
The story itself was grippingly intense and emotionally charged. The plot kept my attention from start to finish and the romance was heavily layered with suspense and darker themes that worked really well together. One of my favorite aspects of this story was how often it kept me guessing. Just when I thought I understood where the plot was headed, it shifted in a way that felt natural. The suspense unfolds gradually with layers revealed at the right pace and made it hard to stop listening.
This is a dark romantic suspense with strong mafia and some MC elements. While there are mafia elements present, this reads closer to the romantic suspense to me. If you’re expecting heavy Mafia action, you may find that aspect lighter than anticipated, though as a whole the story is still fantastic but more romantic suspense.
Highly recommend the audiobook for fans of dark romance, strong heroines, and narrators who truly bring a story to life.
The world building is great. It sets itself up for interconnected series very well. You get introduced to several new side characters and some you met before have been fleshed out.
Unlike the first in the series. Vito and Eden didn’t become secondary characters in their own book. However, I do feel like unimportant information was fleshed out and the real action was shoved into the end act and rushed.
It feels like the author wants us to be be integrated into the world, which I love, but then she realizes the book is too long and has to rush the ending.
There were some things, like Eden’s parents, that didn’t get the conclusion they deserved. I fully expected not only them, but the cult they had supposedly joined, to play a bigger part of the story. Instead, they were set up to be bad guys and basically ignored until a couple of sentences at the end. I don’t feel like Eden was given the closure she was due.
When so much was expounded on and drawn out, their future was a bit ambiguous. Sure, they’re together, but what now? What role does Vito have? What is Eden doing for work? Is she working? It’s a bit unclear to me. She’s helping Sophie, but in what capacity?
Overall, I enjoyed this book more than the first. They’re both good, but there is room for improvement. This series would have been best as a spin off series to an existing one. It felt like it was set up as such. Yes, everyone introduced was fully explained, but it could have been done better. While I appreciate knowing how someone is related to someone else in the mafia, I maybe didn’t need to have it mentioned more than once.
This felt like the main series was about the Havoc Guardians, and this was a mafia spin off of that. At least, that is the vibe I got. Same world. Interconnected characters.
Maybe I’ll re-read this series once all the other series are out and completed. It’s a decent book by itself. It would be better with the rest
Mafia enforcer Vito is called by a dying bar owner with a cyptic message. After the man's sister is named the business successor, Vito realizes the message is to protect her. Eden hates that she's been brought back to her despised home town following her brother's unaliving, but she can't leave until she gets closure for them both. The bar she now owns is neutral ground for all criminal activity in the city, and she finds herself as the most neutral person there is. Unless you count the fire she feels when Vito's eyes are on her. Just one-and-done to get it out of their systems turns to months of secret hookups and emotional connections. Just as Vito is prepared to forsake his birthright and run with Eden, they discover vital clues about her brother. As she finds herself facing down a second unaliving attempt, armed only with her connections and determination, Vito is racing against time to find the woman he loves, consequences be damned.
If I had the space to list all the reasons why this is one of my top mafia series, we'd be here all day. The Santoro boys are quickly rising to my top ranks for book boyfriends. Somehow, Vito surpassed his brother, Creed, and I have high hopes for their remaining brother, whose book is coming next. Vito flips the switch from cold-blooded enforcer to tender supportive partner instantly when it comes to Eden. His steadfast determination to protect her, even from his own family, was the epitome of his love. Eden has spent a lifetime building walls around herself, and somehow Vito tears them down instantly. She doesn't know what to do with him at first; but that quickly turns to a fiery affection that they can't seem to control. I loved their tooth-and-nail fight for their love.
Where do I start with this book? Because honestly, I loved it.
The storyline pulled me in immediately. The suspense, the tension, the edging, the banter… everything was done so well. This is mafia romance that feels immersive and intentional. The mafia element is detailed and layered, with clear hierarchy, politics, power struggles, and attention to specifics like the cars, the weapons, and the inner workings of the world. You can feel the research behind it, and it adds so much depth to the story.
The character development was excellent. The chemistry between the main characters was intense, the spice was delicious, and their dynamic kept me fully engaged. I also really enjoyed the presence of some clues scattered throughout the chapters. Just enough to intrigue without stealing focus from Vito’s story, and enough to make me very excited for Book 3.
The ending was extremely satisfying and wrapped things up beautifully. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is a bit of repetitive wording that became slightly distracting at times. Other than that, this book was pure perfection and I absolutely devoured it.
🎧 Audiobook / ALC ⭐ 4.5/5 stars
The audiobook was a great experience overall.
Mollie Stark was a real discovery for me. Her raspy voice, emotional delivery, and full embodiment of the character were spot on and incredibly engaging.
Tor Thom’s deep voice fit Vito perfectly. There was a very brief moment in the middle where the delivery felt slightly monotone, but he quickly regained control and went on to deliver a strong, confident, and fitting performance.
Second books in the Santoro Mafia series. Vito Santoro is the second son in the Santoro family and he is the protector. One night he received a call from Aiken Fallen, the owner of Gilly’s the only bar neutral in the underworld, about to die and only says to him : Vito… Call Ed. He finally gets the number and found out Ed is a woman. Eden Fallen left the city at 15 years old for good. But when she got the call from Vito, she comes back to be the successor of Gilly’s to find who killed her brother. The only thing is that she might had fall for Vito but by the rules, it’s a big no no the date a member of any clan family bc she needs to stay neutral. The chase is on for Vito and it will be a long and slow road….
Once again, Lora Nox wrote an amazing story! Vito is the kind of men I really love to read in this genre and she didn’t disappoint! Vito is the protector. He will do anything for his family and the woman he falls in love with. Eden is a strong, fierce and won’t take anything from anyone. She stood up to men and won’t let them pushing her. She’s a force to not reckon with. And the back story is the backbone for the rest of the series. I am still amazed by Lora Nox on how she wrote her main characters and second ones. They complement each other. Again, I highly recommend this book and series. 5 ⭐️
Author: Lora Nox Series: Santoro Mafia Series (Book 2) Narrators: Tor Thom & Molly Stark Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ 🌶🌶🌶1/2
I really enjoyed Creed, the first book in the Santoro Mafia Series, but I have to admit… Vito completely won me over.
This story follows Eden, who inherits a bar after the death of her brother—a brother she hadn’t seen in years, staying in touch only through one phone call a year. The bar itself is neutral ground in the criminal world, which means its owner is untouchable. Eden takes over not just to keep the bar running, but because she wants answers. She’s determined to find out who killed her brother, and that mystery adds a strong layer of suspense to the story.
Vito Santoro, the middle brother, is the protector of the family. dangerous, loyal—and very much someone who puts duty first. The connection between him and Eden is intense and very much forbidden, which makes the tension even better. There’s action, danger, spice, and that constant feeling that one wrong move could change everything.
The audiobook narration is excellent. Tor Thom, as always, is solid and commanding—perfect for Vito. Molly Stark absolutely shines as Eden. She captures Eden’s emotional control so well: composed and almost cold on the outside, while everything is happening internally. That balance makes Eden feel real and layered, and it works beautifully in audio. Together, they make a great duo.
I’m very excited to continue the series.
If you enjoy mafia romance with suspense, forbidden attraction, and strong audiobook performances, Vito is definitely worth the listen.
I genuinely don't even know how to express my thoughts on how good this book was, but I'm sure as hell going to try. I'm not going to get into what the book is about as you can read that yourself.
Vito and Eden (Ed) were literally made for each other. Their chemistry is undeniable and when they finally came together, my kindle was burning hot. I love their banter and how they just get on, he’s so supportive and the fact that Vito will burn the entire world down for Ed is just everything. Then when Ed's life is in danger, we see more of Vito's unhinged side come out, and boy is it pretty.
Vito was my favourite brother by the time I finished reading Creed, but Massimo is going to give Vito a run for his money. Massimo & Nova’s book can’t come soon enough.
Umm hello?? How about that epilogue 🙊 Ash & Dom marrying sisters, Army & Bane are also married and Raf & Pix seem to be into each other. Oh the Havoc Guardians MC books are going to be so much fun. Does this mean we’ll get a book for Dom and the Saints? Here’s me hoping so ☺️
Lora Nox has proven that she's going to be a force to be reckoned with in this genre and is fast becoming one of my favourites. This is only her second book, and I certainly can't wait for more.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Love! Love! Love! OMG, “Vito” was such a thrilling ride! Lora Nox has outdone herself with this one! From the very first page, I was hooked by the chemistry between Eden and Vito. Their connection is just electric! You can feel the tension between them, and when they finally come together, it’s pure fireworks!
Sure, the book started off a bit slow, but trust me, once it picks up, you won’t want to put it down. I loved seeing Eden's journey and how she navigates through her complexities with such strength. Vito is everything you want in a protector—fierce, loyal, and just the right amount of unhinged!
The mafia elements are done so well, weaving in the necessary drama and family dynamics that keep you on your toes. The representation of Eden as a curvy heroine was fantastic; we definitely need more of that! And the steamy scenes? Let’s just say they’re fire!
Overall, I adored “Vito.” It’s a compelling blend of romance and suspense with a satisfying conclusion. I’m absolutely looking forward to the next book in the series! If you’re into mafia romance, you need to pick this up. Lora Nox is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the genre!

Vito Santoro…..what a man! This enforcer is everything a mafia family needs. Gruff, vicious, will do anything for his family….chefs kiss! And Eden…..oh Eden. Ed to most but not him! This woman is a spit fire! Shes so spicy and fierce! The way this woman took no BS no matter how large the threat! She has her baggage and trauma but still holds her own. Given a task by her late brother she hits the ground running as well as to find out who mürdêred him. Aiken the puzzle master put everything in place without the world noticing. The forbidden Roman between Eden and Vito was perfect! When they found a place they could’ve together the book took OFF. This story had me on the edge of my seat questioning everyone’s motives! I felt Like a detective solving the case with the main characters. I loved everything about this story it was amazing! Tor tom as always does a Mafia man perfectly. The way he brought Vito’s character to life flawlessly was great. Mollie Stark… wow fantastic narration of Eden! All the stories I’ve listened to with Mollie have been sweet romantic stories but this! She brought this feisty spitfire to life in the best way! This story was super enjoyable and hard to put down I highly Recommend if you enjoy Mafia romance stories with the forbidden piece! The suspense will also hold you captive.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💖 ALL THE STARS, NO NOTES 💖 I am obsessed with the audiobook for Vito by Lora Nox. Like… cancel-your-plans, headphones-glued-on, heart-racing obsessed. This story was already deliciously intense, but the duet-style narration turns it into a full-body experience. Hearing both narrators perform together—actually reacting to each other in real time—makes everything feel electric, intimate, and painfully real in the best way possible. The emotion? Off the charts. The chemistry? Absolutely feral. Vito’s voice? 🫠🫠🫠 (I will not recover.) Every growl, every breath, every loaded pause hits harder because of the duet performance. You’re not just listening to a story—you’re inside it. The narrators don’t just read the characters; they become them, pouring vulnerability, tension, and heat into every single scene. Romantic moments feel swoony, spicy moments feel scandalous, and the emotional beats land straight in the chest. If you love immersive audiobooks, powerful performances, and narration that makes your stomach flip, Vito is an absolute must-listen. This is duet narration done perfectly, and I would relisten in a heartbeat. 🔥🎧💘
This is the second book in the Santoro Mafia series, but can be listened to as a standalone.
Wow Lora Nox, you kept me on the edge of my seat with this one. The perfect blend of forbidden romance, mafia, suspense, and don’t forget the spice 🥵.
Make sure you check your triggers before you dive into this one.
The story revolves around Vito, our ruthless MMC, and Ed, our feisty FMC. Ed comes back to town to take over her bothers establishment and to avenge his death. She never realized she would be jumping into the world of Vito Santoro. Their chemistry was immediate but completely forbidden. You definitely need to pick this one up! It was a wild ride 🔥
10/10 recommend this audiobook! Two new favorite narrators added to the list!
Mollie Stark was incredible. She captured Ed’s personality perfectly. She really brought her feistiness to life.
Tor Thom was the perfect narrator to bring Vito to life! He brought out his growly and obsessive tendencies perfectly!
Thank you to the author Lora Nox as well as the narrators Mollie Stark and Tor Thom. And of course Blue Nose Audio for the opportunity to ALC this. As always my reviews are honest and 100% my own! 🖤
Vito isn’t just a love story—it’s survival wrapped in blood, betrayal, and a brutal kind of devotion. Vito is a man forged in violence, raised by monsters, and taught that love is weakness. Yet somehow, in the middle of all his rage and ruin, he loves—with a loyalty so fierce it’s terrifying.
He doesn’t fall gently. He shatters for her. Their love isn’t soft. It’s jagged, painful, raw. Every word drips with heartbreak, every touch feels like a battle cry.
Lora Nox ripped open every emotion in this book—rage, grief, hope, and a love so intense it feels like it could burn the world down. Vito will break your heart… and then make you beg for more.
If you want a hero who bleeds for love and a story that leaves scars on your soul, Vito is a masterpiece you’ll never forget.
Molly Stark & Tor Thom did amazing in this duet! I knew I would love this story. But the narration brought it to life even more and I’m obsessed with this series!
Gillies is the one place where everyone who is part of the criminal sanction can meet and there can be no blood spilled. The one rule: the owner needs to not be associated with anyone particular in this world.
When Eden’s brother is killed and now she needs to take over for him as his successor, she is now facing a difficult task. Because the one man her body wants and needs, is one she can’t have!
Vito doesn’t do relationships. He actually doesn’t do more than one night ever. But when he gets a call from the owner of Gillies and his one request is to “call Ed”, he doesn’t realize just how screwed he is!
I love forbidden love. And I love F it moments! When two people have to fight for their love, it makes the story even better!
I devoured this and was immediately obsessed. The tension was Immaculate. The edging….Criminal. The banter….Soooo good! The chemistry between the MCs was intense, the spice was DELICIOUS, and their dynamic had me fully locked in from start to finish. The narration was freaking TOP. TIER. Mollie Stark is a new fav of mine her raspy sultry voice, the way she became the character…..Unreal……you could feel the emotion . Tor Thoms deep voice as Vito was absolute perfection. I was weak. I was unwell. I will be recommending this to anyone and everyone!
*ALC REVIEW* Performed in duet by Mollie Stark & Tor Thom
💜:"No. You're Eden to me, and no one else here. And I'm 'fvck!ng c*nt' to you, though I would slit others from their chin to their legs if they dared to call me that.”
This audiobook was soooo good. The performances by Molly and Tom were amazing; you could feel all the emotions they poured into the story through their voices. All the parts worked really well together: story, characters and narration had me in audiobook heaven. Vito checks all the boxes for my book boyfriend collection. He is protective and also very focused on his woman. Eden is the perfect FMC to stand next to him. Strong, determined to prove she can hang with the boys… and her love language was a total hit for me. She had me giggling more than once. I loved getting both POVs & seeing these two be rule breakers in the best ways. It was giving slight Romeo & Juliet vibes. Lora’s writing style is dark and delish 😋 This was my first from her, and now I’m definitely looking forward to checking out more of her work.
Wow! Just wow! @molliestarknarrates and @tor_thom take us on a sexy, seductive ride as Eden and Vito’s story start with a tragic phone call. Brought together by lust and mystery, @loranoxauthor brings us to the epitome of love will conquer all!
Vito has always been a hit it and quit it type of man. Never one to go back for seconds. But once he gets a taste of the forbidden fruit of Eden, he finds himself never satiated.
Eden is girl who disappeared at age 15 only to be called back to her past life to take over as successor of her brother’s bar. Meeting the one and only Vito Santoro was not on her radar nor was how stir crazy he’d make our girl, Ed. One touch was suppose to be enough. But deep down she knew it she wouldn’t be able to get her full.
If you want forbidden love woven with mystery, secret passages and raw passion - let Vito & Eden take you on a journey you won’t forget!
Big thanks to @loranoxauthor & @bluenoseaudio for this ALC!
Vito by Lora Nox is intense, addictive mafia romance done right. First of all—where has Lora been hiding, because this book absolutely delivered! Eden (“Ed”) is a full-on badass FMC—smart, strong, and impossible not to root for. Vito is ruthless, possessive, and completely wrecked by the woman he absolutely should not want. The forbidden, off-limits tension is chef’s kiss, and the slow burn makes every moment hit harder.
🎧 Narration: @molliestarknarrates brings Eden to life flawlessly (as always), and @tor_thom ? Sir!! The grit, the growl, the presence—top tier Vito energy. Their performances seriously elevate the story.
Tropes: 🔥 Italian hero 🖤 Mafia romance 🔥 Forbidden / she’s off limits 🖤 Slow burn
Dark, emotional, and unhinged in the best way—just be sure to check your trigger warnings!
Thank you to @bluenoseaudio and @loranoxauthor for sending me an ALC to review!
Lora does it even better this time! The second book in the Santoro mafia series does not disappoint! If you like mafia romance with the can’t have them, can’t live without them vibe, put this one at the top of your TBR. Eden is my new favorite character, strong and cocky yet vulnerable, with her own gripping backstory. Vito is intense, sexy, and perfect for Eden. The chemistry between them is electric. Vito and Eden can’t get enough of each other, and I couldn’t get enough of them. That said, you could take the spice out and still have a great story, a must-have for 5 stars in my opinion. The story immerses us even further into the Santaro world and family. It was a little complex, but in a very good way, and just as engaging as the amazing spice, adding to the delicious intensity. The Santoro brothers are the stuff of dreams! Love Creed, love, love, love Vito, and I cant wait for Massimo!!
