An absolute delight. This Advent devotional is steeped in scripture and contains meaningful personal stories along with brief reflections on a single verse in the Bible highlighting the very important theme of light/dark that Advent invites us to dwell on. I love the way Stacey pulls you into these verses by helping readers understand the significance and the history (my favorite!) behind them. Short prayers as well as a space to journal your thoughts make this a beautiful way to observe Advent.

I really enjoyed the theme of Light in this devotional. Starting with Genesis and ending in Revelation, each day contains a verse about the Light. It was interesting to go through scripture focusing on this topic. Each day includes extra verses for further study, reflection questions, and space to write prayer requests and to-do's for the day. I will revisit this book in the future.
