Awesome book on the basics of training. It does a great job explaining that there is no single solution or absolute answer for anyone who has problems with progressing in training, or injuries, and so on. It also gives great cues and step by step movement technique.
With that being said, there are smart ways to train and this is sort of what the book is all about. Take what you know based on your anatomy, current level of fitness, and injury history, and build a routine based on that info.
It talks from the lens of trainer helping clients more than building your own training regiment, but I think it could be interpreted either way. If you think you’re over complicating your training, give this a read to bring you back to earth.
