I really enjoyed this book. I love fairytale retellings, and this mafia Rapunzel retelling was really good. I loved Nate and Lexi so much. They had really great chemistry together. If you love fairytales and mafia romance, I definitely recommend checking this book out.

another hit by this author. i adore her writing style and the ability to draw me in immediately. this one was no different. i have to say it took me a minute before i made the connection to the rapunzel aspect because i was so in love with the mafia aspect. there were twists and turns i didnt see coming. i loved Nate so much and Lexi held her own too. i cant wait to read the next book by this author because she never disappoints. you have to read this book. i highly recommend it.

Took me a minute to see the connection to Rapunzel, but a good spicy mafia story. A lot of twists that were not expected a few that you could see coming. Nonetheless I will keep reading this series.

Imagine being the Rapunzel of the Mafia world. Lexi has become a pawn in her uncles world, she doesn't have a say who, what and where her world goes. That is for the time being! Lexi is smart and she has a plan! This book grabs you, holds you tight and is well written!!! Highly recommend!

I was looking for spicy re-tellings of fairytales and boy, did I find it. The tension between the characters was perfect for a slow-burn. It had enough elements of the Rapunzel story to make it just perfect. The modern twist was fantastic.

DNF at 7%. I don’t want to insult teenage girls by wondering if a teenage girl wrote this. This book reads like a Barbie doll-Disney-Princess-Mafia-lite novel. The writing is atrocious and boring. No character building. No world building. I’m recommending you Do Not Bother.

 A Rapunzel retelling in a modern-day mafia romance.

Great chemistry and tension between Nate and Lexi. Not to mention the spice.

 Fairytale retellings are not something I would generally choose, but this one intrigued me from the blurb. The last couple chapters felt rushed, but I did enjoy this read.
