The Dragons are angry. The rift to the netherworld is tearing. A dark enemy is rising, and Azora is blamed for all of it. In order to fix everything, she must forge an alliance with dragons and confront celestial beings by passing through some of the most dangerous realms in all the lands.
Alcaius, the son of Death, is in hiding for his crimes against a fellow reaper. The threat of his execution is looming, but he must come out of hiding to search for the woman he loves. He refuses to let her face dragons and celestials alone, if only he can find her before he loses her forever.
Can Azora restore peace to her world or will her failure bring the end to all?
Wow, just wow! This book was ridiculously amazing. I was hooked from start to finish and loved every single moment of it. It picked up right where Lowan’s Song left off, with Azora embarking on another insane quest while some sneaky person pulled ALL the strings from behind the scenes. There were mini quests, heart-stopping action, and a dash of spicy romance.
If you’re a fan of quest squad shenanigans and have a soft spot for hilarious sidekicks with zero F’s to give, you’ll love Fennec in this one!
I devoured this book in one day and I’m DYING to see what Alcaius’s Flame has in store for them.
A seer, a reaper, and a quest to save the dragons. A girl driven by love, a boy hopelessly in love, and a journey that will make them question everything. A girl and a boy finding solace and hope in each other. A girl and a boy navigating the threads of fate seemingly forever out of their reach. A seer, a reaper, a found family, and an epic sequel setting the perfect foundation for a heart-wrenching finale. How could you want more?
I loved Lowan's Song, the first book of the series. It was perfectly balanced, with equal parts of romance and action. The banter between the MCs was exquisite, and their connection electric, even with all the obstacles.
Azora's Rift has surpassed my expectations and made me fall in love with the story even more.
Everything was there—Azora and Alcaius navigating their feelings and dilemmas, Elisha and his mysteries, Azora's other companions on her quest to save the dragons (I am looking at you, Moirai!), and then... Fennec. Oh, Fennec, the neutral one (sort of), the "I am the perfect reaper" one, and above all, Alcaius' baby brother. His quips were *chef's kiss*, and I await the day he stomps all over his words and does the opposite of everything he was trying to impose. It will be glorious!
Lowan's Song was mainly focused on Azora and Alcaius, and Azora's Rift broadened the story by introducing some old and new characters. They all enriched the story, made it more complex and deep, and brought new perspectives. I never wanted the story to end, and I am counting the days until Book 3 is in my arms, especially after that gut-wrenching ending.
Thank you, Elaia, for gifting me the ARC and letting me join this journey; I am honoured.
I absolutely love this! I was a bit upset at all interruptions that kept coming but they were also making me laugh. Just when they thought they were back on the dragon quest another interruption lol. Belphagor… you awful creature! Pulling their strings like that. Also I absolutely am not a fan of Moirai. Girl can’t take no for an answer. I was a bit shocked about Elisha and like what did he return? But that ending!! Ooh I’m so disappointed with Azora! Alcaius is going to be devastated!! I’m going to need a moment to digest all of it. But I need book 3 now!! Please

Wow! What an amazing adventure. A beautifully written story filled with quests, a strong woman, heart stopping fight scenes, dragons and oh so much more! I devoured this book and cannot wait for book 3 to come out!
This was such a great continuation from Book 1. I love the creativeness of this series. It is like nothing I’ve read before and the author does an amazing job catching and keeping your attention. The world building is immersive and the writing is amazing. Here, Azora has to go on another adventure and this time it is to save Alcaius’s life and to fix everything she broke. I loved the action and the journey and I’m dying to see how it concludes in Book 3.
Thank you so much to the author for an advanced reader copy. I am voluntarily leaving a review, and all thoughts are my own.
