Misaki and Usagi are ADORABLE. I feel sorry for Ijuuin bc he is a nice guy but Misaki and Usagi are ENDGAME :D

I love how Misaki thinks about Usagi. We already know that Usagi loves him, but seeing Misaki loving Usagi with all of his soul and heart makes me wanna die. I would even dare to say that maybe he loves Usagi even more than Usagi loves him(??) He is just so deeply in love with him I can't :")

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

Misaki is maturing, but my favorite part is that their 'together' times no longer feel slightly assault adjacent. We even get an explanation from Misaki as to why he acts like he does, which is super silly, but it fits with the story.
There is a lot of talk about things that will advance the plot, but not much actually advances.

WARNING: This review contains spoilers

This was one of my favorite volumes. Each of the acts were amazingly written and I loved how much Misaki has matured and adjusted to being in a relationship with Akihiko. He has finally accepted that he loves him too much to be apart from him and, despite what everyone seems to think, he resolves to tell his brother about their relationship so that they can continue to live together.

At the end of act 34 Ijuuin tricked Misaki into going on a date with him under the pretense of thanking him for bringing tone paper to his house for work. Once again Misaki tries to tell him that he doesn't want to be in a relationship with him but, again, he refuses to accept it, instead telling him that he'd send him information on available housing near Marukawa.

It wasn't until act 36 when he happened to run into Misaki while he was out with Kaoruko and Mizuki that he finally gets it. Ijuuin tells them that he is in love with Misaki and Kaoruko isn't having it at all. She blatantly tells him that if Misaki ever planned on leaving Usagi there'd be no way she'd let Ijuuin have him. Mizuki then stepped in and told him that if he really loved Misaki he has to take his feelings into consideration. He told him that if he wants Misaki to be happy he should give up and allow him to be with the one he loves. Akihiko then shows up (out of nowhere) and reiterates to everyone that he isn't letting ANYONE have Misaki and that's Ijuuin finally got it. Misaki said he had a look on his face that he'd never seen before...sad acceptance. I felt bad because I actually like his character a lot. I hope he finds someone just as amazing as Misaki.

After that whole confrontation Mizuki mentions to Misaki that accepting the job offer at Marukawa could cause Usagi to be worried. I was shocked when Misaki then tells Akihiko that he'd quit his job if that's what he wanted him to do all because he didn't want him worrying about anything going on with Ijuuin. A younger Misaki would never have offered to do this. Akihiko, to his credit, tells him that he doesn't expect him to quit... as long as he continues to stay with him. He wants Misaki to be happy and is willing to put up with anything as long as he loves him. The volume, as a whole, made me happy. Everything was perfect, definitely 5 stars.

I just finally figured out the proper list of chapters for each book in the series.

Junjou Romantica act.34
Misaki is 22 and he has grown as a person!! I'm so proud of him for finally saying the things which he would have hidden behind a veil of embarrassment before. He's even thinking of how to tell his brother that he's in a relationship with Usagi!!! Also their date at the festival was freaking adorable. Usagi even gave him a piggyback ride.

Junjou Romantica act.35- Fave act so far.

Junjou Romantica act.36

Junjou Terrorist act.10.5- too short... literally

It was so good! The chapter at the festival was super cute~❣️ Misaki, tell him you love him! Please!! 😭😭💕💕💕

We got a lot of lovey-dovey and angst 😍💖 I also love having Kaoruko sharing with Misaki~~ Sensei's art it's getting cleaner in here, too.

I have to ask...
Why is Misaki like this?
I would have loved someone like Usagi, and I'm not talking about money and the fact that he is a writter, but still why?

La pelea entre Ijuin y Usagi continúa y todo porque Ijuin no quiere entender que Misaki no lo quiere.

Usagi tiene en plan festejar a Misaki, pero siempre llega alguien para interrumpirlos

QUICK THOUGHTS (on the series not this volume):
I have been following this for a while and yes, some of the usual tropes and annoyances that come with the genre I still dislike (especially when it comes to CONSENT!!), I enjoy Junjou Romantica.
I like the unique setting with Usagi's job and the glimpses we get into that and I especially Hiro and Nowaki as a couple. (I can identify with Hiro quite a bit at times, as well as with Misaki.) Something that strikes a chord in me with this story are some of the memorable quotes I have jotted down here and there. (And for such a long time, too.)

I had stopped reading this for quite a while, so it makes me happy that I can now catch up to a bit of story now :D

OH! And the artwork, I really do enjoy Nakamura Shungiku's drawings quite a lot.

EEEK! Ijuuin-sensei is quite a creepy character! Pretty despicable, yikes.
