And the Ride Continues!
In this sequel to Angela Ford's Closure, where we were taken on a wild ride of action packed suspense, the ride begins again. Just when you think it's over, look out, because you're in for another dose! Jess is now the head of The Internet Security Task Force. She & Tom are now married and have a sweet and enviable relationship. This is a quick, exciting, sit on the edge of your seat read with a surprising twist! If you read Closure you will certainly want to pick this up. In fact, this story should be read by all parents who have teenage daughters...it is definitely an eye opener! Loved, loved, loved it!

Another great story by Angela Ford!

I was gifted with Forbidden to help create the trailer, and boy was I excited! I couldn’t even wait until the day was done, I propped up my kindle, and started it while making dinner:)

It’s a quick read, but so worth it! If you read Closure then you will definitely want to read Forbidden. Its packed full of excitement, and intrigue, and I loved reading about Jess and Tom again… so sweet:)

The ending was one I was not expecting! I hope to read more books by Angela.

“Keep them coming!”

Seriously I am beginning to think this author needs to have warning labels on her novels that dare to begin this without being prepared will result in anguish if you try to leave the novel before finished. Don't know why I did not expect it having read the first one only knew this one was going to be a good one. As I begin I say to myself oh no she has done it to me again with this making it two times in a row with her novels. Jess has begun again to suck me in as I read how her and Agent Mike are going to speak to some parents about internet safety. I have now entered the rear stuck to my seat zone as I taken away into the novel. Her and her team are still at it keeping or trying too young people safe from internet stalkers and the like. When she is given a file by some parents after a meeting with some parents she takes it home. That is right she is now with that man Tom finally yeah who is a dream of a husband for sure. Remembering later about the file she opens it and it begins. This is one that is similar and close to home sort of. Now I am on the fast track filled with the drama that comes with these novels that Jess is involved in because of the crime and cases she deals with. So this is fast pace with trying to stay with her with wanting to shout at the girl she is trying to protect from scary scum that she has met via the internet. You keep wanting to shout to the girl wake up and smell the coffee or something you are about to meet danger with a stranger because Jess knows what she is talking about and knows scum buckets when she sees them. So as I am tooling along through this novel numb butt fast approaching because like I said I have not stopped since starting. Racing to the end is what I am doing because I have lost the breaks but it is so darn good do not care anyways. This kind of intrigue and drama is what thrills you to your toes plus there is a surprise inside that will blindside you totally unexpected on who crops up too. Just when you thought the boogieman was locked up for good someone throws him the key. So by the time I reach the end (which am surprised I am there already) I am sitting with my mouth hanging open which I better close for fear of flies or something. Alright Miss author ready for the next one as soon as I get the feeling back but please this time include that warning.

Forbidden was a nail biting book. It picks up about a year after the end of 'Closure'. Jess and Tom are now happily married. Tom stepped down as supervisor of the team and trains for the FBI academy, and Jess was placed in Tom's supervisory position. After one of the teams Internet safety awareness training for parents, Mr and Mrs Bennett express their concerns for their daughter. They explain what they know and tell Jess about the changes they have seen in Tiffany and give her copies of the online chats she is having. Jess promises that she will look over the chats and get back to them. Once home and Jess is able to read Tiffany's conversations she gets a sense that Tiffany is in over her head. Jess is now all in for taking the case to her team. Jess tells the Bennett's she is taking this case to her but wants to meat with Tiffany to try to connect with her and help her see the danger. Of coarse Tiffany thinks everyone is over acting. Once Tiffany is done with her talk she proceeds with her plan to meet up with Kyle. Is Tiffany right and everyone is over acting or is she putting her self in danger? Angela Ford does an excellent job of keeping you on the end of your seat. This was an good short story, but I didn't like the ending. I almost felt like there should have been one more chapter or an epilogue, but that is just me. I still would recommend this book and think it is worth your time

I just finished reading Forbidden. It is the Sequel to Closure written by Angela Ford. Jessica finds herself involved in a case that gives her a chilling sense of deja vu. Her gut tells her that the young girl involved may be in serious danger. Can she prevent what her gut is telling her from coming true? Can she protect the girl like her parents tried to protect her at that age?

I really loved this book. Like Closure, it was like reading an episode of Criminal Minds. I can’t wait to get my hands on the third book that goes with this series. I hope that she writes many more. She has a great way of telling this story. She leaves you on edge until the very end. It’s amazing! I love books like these.

There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about this book. I wish it had been longer, but it was good at the length it was at. There was also a few typos here and there, but we all have those now and then. It happens. There are maybe two or three in the entire book, if that. Other than that, the book was amazingly written. It flowed well. I loved it!

I fully recommend this book. I also recommend its prequel, Closure. It’s like reading episodes of Criminal Minds. If you love Criminal Minds, or any other crime shows, you will love this series. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to read this book. I can’t wait to read the next book and many more to come from Angela Ford. She has real talent.

SA Jessica Rosario is back! Since her last big case was finding the man who stalked her when she was a teenager and then murdered her parents (CLOSURE), she has married her boss, Tom Erickson, although he is no longer her boss; he is an FBI trainer.

Jessica continues with her personal effort to educate as many parents and children about the dangers of internet predators. Following one seminar, Richard and Diane Bennett approach Jessica with concerns about their teenage daughter, Tiffany, who they feel has a stalker. She has been communicating with a much older man she has never met and the parents, naturally, are distressed.

Jessica is drawn to the Bennett family as there are similarities reminding her of her own stalker.

The author approaches the subject quite skillfully and detailed. All the characters are believable. Tiffany is the normal teenager .. her parents just like to hassle her, she knows what she's doing, etc. Things spiral out of control when Tiffany takes off to meet her new 'friend' leading Jessica and her team into protection mode.

This is more a novella, rather than a novel, so it makes for very fast reading. The author is direct and to the point, so nothing is missed. I did take away 1/2 point because the ending was just so abrupt.

Many thanks to the author for providing the book in exchange for an honest, unbiased opinion.

I really enjoyed reading Forbidden. The idea of Internet Predators is occurring all over the world. It is a subject you are hearing more and more about. Agent Jessica Resario gives seminars all over the world introducing parents to cyber safety. Along the way, she meets Tiffany's parents who are concerned about her. Tiffany has all of the signs of having an Internet Predator. Jessica starts an investigation and with her team discover some very interesting information and facts about the Predator. I love Jessica and her team. Jessica does whatever is necessary to find out the truth even though she has to break the rules sometimes to save someone's life. Jessica and her husband, Tom are so in love and have a wonderful relationship. He is very caring and understanding of her work. Jessica has a wonderful team who look out of reach other. The book is filled with action, mystery, murder and a surprise that no one seen coming.

I am looking forward to reading more of Angela's book. She is a wonderful writer. I enjoy reading books with romance, mystery, murder, action and intrique.

Another take along beach read. "Forbidden" picks up where "Closure" left off. It was an action packed sequel, just as the first. FBI Profiler Agent Jessica Rosario a year later has a new life on and off the job. A new case brings back memories of the past she thought was behind her. This is a fast paced story with excitement as you turn the page. You are able to visualize and see the turn of events as they happen.

To be honest I would not place this book under the Romance genre, though there is some. It is more of an FBI drama/suspense and if you enjoy a good short story with believable romance and an adrenalin rush give this series a try.

I do wish this one did not have quite as abrupt of an ending. It left me saying, "THAT'S IT!" I just wanted more. (This is a book that can be read in a day, great for my busy schedule.)

Forbidden was given to me for my honest opinion.

Ms. Ford hits the ground running with the fast-paced sequel to Closure. Jessica Rosario and Tom Erickson, the protagonists from Closure are back and married, although this is really Jessica's story and Tom is a support characters. All their FBI friends are also back. The team is still working internet stalkers/predators, especially those preying on young people using social media sites.

After giving a lecture to a room full of parents on what to watch for if they suspect their children might be caught up in this problem, Jessica meets the parents of a teenager who is being stalked. The team's investigation and pursuit of the suspect is a nonstop action filled page turner.

Ms. Ford's stories just keep getting better and better, I can't wait to read the next in this series.

I was given this book as a gift and I must say that this is an amazing continuation of Angela Ford's first book, Closure. In the second of this series, Forbidden, we find Supervisory Special Agent, Jessica Resario, continuing her job with internet security. This is a quick read, but very well worth it. Forbidden is packed with practical information for today, especially on the topic of internet stalkers. Teens aren't the only ones at risk...we all are. It is so important to be wise when typing to anyone online. Anyone can pretend to be anything at any point in time online. Thank you so much, Angela, for tackling this topic and bringing safety to the forefront! Please pick up Closure and Forbidden. You will enjoy the reads.

Wow! What a 5 star, fast paced, page turning must read that grabbed me from the start and held my interest through the end!! ... I read this novella in less than 24 hours & in 3 sittings when I had the time to read :) ... What a great 3rd book for this new awesome Author! ... I only have one bone to pick (my personal preference) and that is the abrupt ending :o lol ... But, I'm sure Ms. Ford has her reasons for doing that, and hopefully it means she will continue on with these great characters & more of their amazing stories :)... I was given this novella to read in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly can't wait to read more from this up and coming Author!!

In Forbidden, Angela Ford has written another suspense-filled story with the sequel to her first book, Closure.
Now married to her former boss, Tom Erickson, San Francisco FBI Agent Jessica Resario heads up the Internet Security Task Force. Jessica is as focused as ever on the safety of teenagers that use chat rooms on the Internet, and tracking down their predators.
The similarities of her latest case—the stalking of a seventeen-year-old girl—sometimes reminds her all too much of her own stalker and murderer of her parents. However, she’s put all that behind her now that Trevor Marshall is securely locked up in prison. Or is he?

I recieved the book from the author for an honest review.

This is the sequel to Closure. Jessica (Jess) is head of the ISTF. After giving a presentation on internet safety to parents, a couple approach her and they are worried about their daughter who has been talking to an older man on the internet. The team decides to look into it. From that point on there is non stop suspense and action. it is a short read and does have an abrupt ending, which leaves it open to another book.
This is a novella and is a quick read, but enough is packed in the book to grab and hold your attention. Wonderful read and I am looking forward to another book.

This story is the sequel to Closure.

Agent Jessica Resario thought she found closure with the arrest of her stalker who killed her parents. Tom stepped down as leader of the special task force and started training agents for the FBI. She married Tom and continues to do seminars to parents about cyber safety. One such seminar introduces her to Tiffany Bennett's parents who are scared that their daughter has a stalker. Jess leads the team to protect Tiffany. Will they save Tiffany? Read to find out more.

I totally recommend this book. I recommend reading Closure first. Both books are really good and are great additions to any personal library!

Exciting, suspenseful and intriguing... A great book!

The story of this book is pretty actual, because its about internet stalkers and all that can happen to teenagers that have the world of internet to themselves.

The end seemed to me like a bit of a Cliffhanger... oh well maybe I just want to know what will happen to Tiffany and Amanda and Mike!

I haven't read Closure, but after reading Forbidden, I want to know what happened to Jess and how she met Tom. I loved these characters!

This is the second book and I think more intense than the first!

Jessica Resario is now been promoted to Special Supervisory Agent when after giving a presentation at a local school on child predators and the internet, she and Special Agent Mike Turner are approached by Richard Bennett about his daughter Tiffany. Jessica agrees to look into more and she is sure that Tiffany is in over her head.

Desperate to help Tiffany, Jessica puts her own career on the line. The problem is that it's not only her career that she is in danger of losing. Will Jessica be able to save Tiffany, herself and the members of her team before it's too late and the past comes back with a vengeance.

Wow - there were definitely some things in this book that I never saw coming! Jessica is still a super strong character who seems to think more with her heart on occasion, over her head and duty. The team bond is still so strong in this book and it is truly wonderful to see how they all come together and protect each other.

I also really enjoyed the developing relationship between Tom, Nicole, Amanda and Jessica. I loved that they all made such a great effort to get along and it seemed really strong. I say developing as it was said in the book that previously Tom wasn't the best father but it showed how his new position was allowing him to be there for Amanda.

Can't wait for the next one!

Book notes: 131 pages told primarily from the heroine's POV, but there are a couple of very brief POV changes to other characters.

The premise of Forbidden is a good, powerful one, especially with the advent of today's technological advances making online preying of children easier than ever.
Jessica Resario-Erickson is an FBI agent dedicated to protecting and defending the rights of these children. It's a job that hits extra close to home for her as she was once a victim too.
Unfortunately, for me, what could've been an excellent story fell short in the execution. Minor grammatical errors peppered the manuscript and the pacing was too rushed. For as much action and subsequent plot twists as there were, more time on elaborating with less focus on repeating already established concepts would've been preferred.
Don't get me wrong, I can see a storyteller in Ms. Ford; her style just needs polishing. If you like a fast-paced, quick read that could easily translate to film, give Forbidden a try.

STAYING AHEAD OF THE STALKERS

This story continues from Closure and once again I was captivated and on the edge of my seat as the mystery and suspense continued to unfold. The plot twist kept me in constant suspense and the pages turning. I love this fast-paced action pack story. Beware, you will be drawn into this story and its emotional roller coaster ride! Just when you think you are safe, a danger is lurking in the shadows.

Tom Erickson and Jessica Resario are now married, she is the supervisory agent and he is teaching again at FBI academy. When the Bennetts approach her at one of the seminars and share their concerns about their daughter, Jess agrees to read a file they have complied. Reading the file is déjà vu, it sounds so similar to her stalker's MO. Can Jess help the Bennetts and will Tiffany listen before it is too late? I look forward to more in this FBI series.

A great mystery/suspense, and a quick read!
Even though this was a quick read, it has plenty to read about. Jess is a special agent with ISTF. She encounters a teenager who is stalked online, the same as she was as a teenager. You can read about that in the first book, Closure. Her husband, Tom, is genuinely supportive of her and her job, as he was once in that position. Does this teenager, Tiffany Bennett, along with her parents, realize the extreme danger she is in. This case brings back painful memories for Jess and her team. There are two evil stalkers in this book. I recommend this book to everyone who likes mystery/suspense, or even better than that…. To all parents of teenagers, because it will make them aware of the dangers of their children while online. Great read!!

I read them the wrong way around but that is okay. Jess is a FBI that lost her family to a stalker when she was younger and she will do anything to make sure that it doesn't happen to other families. Jess is married to Tom another FBI agent but he is older and the love of her life. Jess & her team have picked a new case regarding a male stalker that is preying on young girls. All Jess can see is her own past and she will need to get her head in the game and not let the predator get away. This is a great read a story that is so now as there are so many people out there willing to hurt your young children. The characters are strong and honest. I fell in love with Jess & Tom from the beginning. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

Forbidden is the sequel to Closure, again we follow Jess in an exciting suspensive FBI case. Now married and as the new boss, Jess is trying to catch an Internet stalking who targets young girls. Tom and Jess's marriage is sweet and I related more to them in Forbidden. This is a quick read and I can't wait to read more adventures with Jess and her team.
