What would you bargain your soul for?
Lucifer is the CEO of Souls, but he has one problem. There is a soul in the mortal world darker than all he has ever acquired and not in his possession. Taking on the task of retrieving the soul, he walks into something unexpected. Lily.
Lily, a flower shop owner, is bright and bubbly by day, but by night... let's just say things get dark.
Will Lucifer acquire the soul he seeks, or will the task make him fall to his knees, given how hot the flame is?

great folklore retelling

Great story of Lucifer and Lily. Steamy retelling of Lucifer; we love to hate him in the Underworld. Lily is a strong woman who remains tough as nails throughout the story, her resilience is commendable. The Seven Deadly Sins personified were a nice touch. I also enjoyed the characters Jade and Willow; hoping to see more of them in the future.

An exciting tale

I finished this story in less than a day. It's a dark romance retelling featuring Lucy and Lilly. I love the way the author sort of mixed two underworld myths. It's giving hades and persephone vibes while also incorporating the Christian underworld/hell myth! I looove the way the deadly sins were portrayed. And like all good over stories you get a well earned HEA. 👏 I have read a lot of queen and king of the underworld stories, but this one was unique and well worth a read.

this is a great story. i thoroughly enjoyed reading it. the fml isn't a helpless damsel in distress. In fact, she wants nothing to do with the male lead lucifier and makes him work his butt off for everything!!
lucifier is raw and rough and unpolished. she is bubbly and confident with a dark secret, and it drives him wild. she won't give in to him and pushes him away and stands up to him.
the dynamic between the lead characters is fantastic and the story line is great also what they go through to be together.
I'd love for there to be a book 2 also, about jade and how she came about!!!

Story 4/5 ⭐️
Narration 4.5/5 ⭐️

Souls Divided is a steamy, myth-twisting ride. Lily isn’t here to be saved because she’s strong, sharp, and makes Lucifer earn every moment. Their dynamic is electric. Side characters like Jade and Willow add depth and intrigue.

Narrated by the ever-talented C.C. Kline who nails the pacing and character voices, making Lucifer’s raw intensity and Lily’s fierce resilience leap off the audio.

If you love dark romance, myth retellings, and audiobooks with bite, this one’s a must-listen. Thank you to C.C. Kline for the review copy.

I know it took me a while to finish this book, but it was good. It was very angsty in the beginning, but towards the middle it got better. The end was so good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I was very pleasantly surprised with this one! It’s a unique twist on a Lucifer and Lily retelling mixed with some Greek mythology. I loved the creativity, strength, and independence Lily has. The fact that she doesn’t fall at Lucifer’s feet right when they meet is refreshing.

I would definitely recommend Souls Divided (and have with success!) to readers who enjoy:

🥵 steamy enemies to lovers

😈 dark mf/ff/fff romance

💪🏻 bad @ss, creative, relatable FMC

⛓️ k!nks galore

🤭 snarky banter

👯‍♀️ characters you want to befriend

I look forward to reading more from Emily B. Rose!
