It’s time to redefine your boundaries, rediscover your balance, and design the life you deserve—one empowering “no” at a time.
I’m always trying to do everything for everyone, The Year of No helped me pause and rethink my choices. Each of the 366 daily practices felt like a small step toward balance and clarity. I especially liked how the book helped me define my values and set better boundaries, something I’ve always struggled with. Some entries were more insightful than others, but overall, the advice is practical and easy to apply. It’s not about being selfish, it’s about protecting your energy and making room for what matters. If you want to grow without burning out, this book is a great companion.
I’ve been flipping through this book in the mornings. Each page gives one thing to stop doing and one habit to try. It’s easy to do it because it takes literally 5 minutes for you to reflect about it and take to your day. Some tips hit home more than others. It’s easy to start anywhere and you don’t need to follow the calendar. The only critique I have is that the repeated formula of yes and no felt more like motivational messages than real advice. But the prompts will still help you to reflect.
