The things that I would do for Kylian Walsh are as vulgar as the mouth on that man. This surprise release was one that I didn’t know was missing in my life.
The queen of writing such original spice scenes remains on her throne.

The characters in this series are absolutely some of the favorite characters in any book series I have ever read.

It just shows how in tune he is with her needs, always paying attention to what she wants and what makes her comfortable. I love how he’s so structured and has his routines, and the fact that she gets him and understands that side of him just makes them even more amazing together. I’ve missed him so much, and he’s just so special to me.

One thing about Decker is that he’s really good at carving out those special moments just for him and Jo. He doesn’t mind sharing her with others, but there’s something about those quiet, intimate times just between the two of them that he treasures. It’s like he knows how important those moments are for their connection. He loves her so deeply and is always willing to give her whatever she needs, as long as it makes her happy. And yeah, he can be a little bossy, but in the best way possible—he’s got this incredible ability to understand exactly what Jo needs and how to give it to her in a way that feels natural and right.

STOP. He just wanted to show Jo how much she’s loved on her birthday, to appreciate her in the sweetest way possible. But in trying to do that, he accidentally triggered a bad memory, and I honestly felt so terrible for him. He’s such a good guy, and he was just trying to do something nice for her. But at the same time, this moment is such a learning experience for their relationship. They’re still figuring each other out, and they’re so different, yet they balance each other so well. It’s all a part of their growth, and even though it was tough, it just makes me love them even more. I love my babies so much.

MAMA. I love Kendrick. That’s husband material right there. He gets it so perfectly, especially when it comes to Jo. He understands that it’s all about the small moments, the little things that show her how much she means to him. Kendrick truly thrives on taking care of her—he gets a sense of fulfillment from making sure she feels reassured, loved, and supported. One thing’s for sure, he will ALWAYS take care of her. He just knows how to show up for her in ways that matter, and it’s everything. What a man.

GAH! I've loved all the books in the Boys of Lake Chapel and Boys of South Lake series' and this is a little love story kind of in the middle of the South Lake part of the series. I honestly don't think you can read this without at least reading the Boys of Lake Chapel. We get a Valentine's Day weekend with FMC Joey and her MMC's Cap, Emo Boy, K and Daddy Genius and MAN if I wasn't already in love with these boys... While we get some nice spice (Decker breaks one of his boating rules! YEEESSS!) and each of the boys gets some special time with Jo. Decker was in full "Big Decker energy mode and his mushy side make me all heart eyes. Kendrick - o boy- his special scene with Jo made me BAWL. Locke is totally Locke with his gift to Joey and Kylian - that man and his mouth! Get's Joey and each of the guys so much in his own unique, neuro-divergent way. Get's his "special" Sunday morning time with Joey. Add his ability to orchestrate all 5 of them together! That man (with Abby Millsaps stellar writing of course) can get them all off and make me cry at the same time!

Okay this little Valentine’s Day novella had me freaking tearing up, gasping, and SWEATING with how hot it was. I have been DYING to get back with my favourite cohort and this was DELICIOUS. As a Decker Crusade girlie, this made my heart so happy. This man, and all of these men knew how to take care of Jo so well for the entire weekend, and I freakin LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
You get an individual scene with all of them, as well as MULTIPLE group scenes in this book. My heart is so happy. YUM. The best surprise!

The Boys of Lake Chapel is one of my favorite series, and this happily ever after novella just made me so happy. It was so nice to jump back into this world and see this group happy and settled in their lives together. Yes, this is a spicy novella, and there is definitely more spice than plot but that is exactly what this story needed to be. Josephine and her guys (Decker, Locke, Kylian and Kendrick) get away to the cabin for valentines weekend so they can have quality time alone together. What starts as a fun weekend becomes awkward when the guys find out something that Josephine was trying to keep under wraps, and they need to figure out how to get through it together. Their relationships are all solid so they are able to work through it easily, and it was nice to see their communication improve even more after the events of Too Far.
Also, Decker breaks one of his biggest rules (iykyk), and it was an excellent group scene. I love that we got scenes with each of them individually, as well as group scenes. I also loved seeing Decker’s and Josephine’s character growth continue, after the trauma that was the third act of Too Far, it seems that both of them have come a long way individually and together and it was so nice to see (yes, we also see it in the epilogues, but timeline wise this is closer to the events of that book).

First of all, I just want to say sorry for being a bit late with this review—migraine days are no joke, and sometimes reading has to take a back seat. But now that I’ve finally finished the series, I have to talk about it because… wow. I’m officially hooked.
I’m genuinely so grateful I got the chance to read Boys of Lake Chapel. This series completely drew me. Every single character was written with such care and depth—they each brought something unique to the story. I loved seeing how they handled their own personal struggles, how they grew over time, and how their paths intertwined in ways that felt natural and meaningful.
Josephine, our main character, absolutely stole my heart. The chemistry between her and her love interests was perfection—intense, passionate, and full of tension I love. What really stood out to me was how each character had their own way of expressing love, pain, and loyalty. Their interactions with Josephine felt so authentic and layered, making the relationships in the story feel incredibly real.
The plot kept me invested from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of emotional depth, unexpected twists, and yes… the spice. The spicy scenes definitely delivered without overpowering the emotional journey of the characters. I laughed and teared up a few times.

I have been missing these boys something fierce and am thrilled to have more of them in my life!
Stats Daddy continues to be the daddiest and I love the depth and intensity of his love for Joey, and particularly the way that Joey recognizes and cherishes the gestures and intentional acts Kylian shows her that push his boundaries.
Nicky!! The big, softie Emo Boy continues to go full out for our girl and those moments where he shows the vulnerable broken boy are all the more intimate.
Kendrick, the man obsessed, is feral and possessive while simultaneously being a fantastic team player. What a dream to be showered in his affection.
And the final man of Joey’s cohort has had the hardest time adjusting to their arrangement and letting go of his control, but there is not an ounce of doubt that he loves this family with his whole chest and nothing is out of the question when it comes to protecting his people. I loved getting to see his tender moments and the safe haven for him and Joey to lean into their connection even more.

I just finished reading this adorable novella in the Boys Of Lake Chapel series, and I'm still grinning from ear to ear. This happy-ever-after story follows Josephine and her four guys - Decker, Locke, Kylian, and Kendrick - as they escape to a cabin for a Valentine's Day weekend getaway.
The novella starts off as a fun, relaxing weekend, but things take an awkward turn when the guys discover a secret Josephine's been keeping from them. However, since their relationships are solid, they're able to work through the issue together, and it's lovely to see their communication skills improve even more.
One of the highlights of this novella is the character growth, particularly with Decker and Josephine. After the traumatic events in the third book, it's wonderful to see how far they've come, both individually and together. Thank you @abbymillsaps and @valentine_pr_ for the opportunity to read and review this series 🖤 It's been a MINUTE since I've read anything where a character gives their vehicle a name. Immediate nostalgia kicked in and I basically fell in love with these books from that moment. But also it was when we met Alice and how all of the story seemed to stem from the promise she talked Josephine into keeping.
I'm not sure if there was a best part per se, because so much is going on. There's soap op vibes, not gonna lie. But there are also raw and vulnerable connections, found family, a strong and wilful FMC, and 4 very different MCs. Here's where I want to branch out and share the personalities of each MC..

Im gonna miss this universe so much. Hunter and Jo will always have a special place in my heart as FMC’s. Greedy, Levi, Spencer, Sione, Kylian, Locke, Kendrick, and Decker. You all are my dream guys. And I love the way they treat their women with such love and care.
Greedy I didn’t really care for u at first but once u and Levi started going at it, I was very intrigued and u became a dinamic character.
Levi ur my favorite guy from ur series, No explanation needed.
Spencer ur giving rich baby daddy and im so here for it, I love the way u take care of Levi.
Sione ur alright, ur just an extra add on that I began to love.

Was the best Valentines Day gift to readers who fell for these guys in the Boys of Lake Chapel Series.
It was a little weird in the beginning because it takes place after BLC ends but before the epilogues and I haven't read Boys of South Chapel series so I was definitely lost. Suggest reading BSC series if you want to not be lost at the beginning with the names and circumstanced for the Valentines day getaway.
After getting past that though, it was a good read and everything I wanted it to be. The call backs to sprinkles was my favorite part. It was spacy AF as I hoped and also had those tender sweet moments that made me fall in love with these characters.
Stats Daddy never disappoints and proves himself to be the MVP once again after the guys manage to make a bad call on Feb 14th. Like always they regroup and come back as a team to make sure Joey feels loved and worshiped. Even if it means breaking a rule.
Only pet peeve I have is the description of Locke's tattoo. I needed more because I could not picture it with the scale given.
Can we get a whole series of Holiday novellas because I would eat them up with sprinkles on top.
