In Leadership Genius of Jesus, Beausay skillfully shows how Jesus demonstrated fifty-nine leadership traits that can be replicated by today's leaders. As readers gain insight into Jesus' strong and unwavering, yet gentle and encouraging leadership style they will learn how to be a leader.
This little daily devotion is about 52 entries long, with each entry only being about a page and a half long.
I found the book a little drawl, and didn't finish. Each entry begins with either a personal anecdote about his own leadership or a pop culture reference that most millennials and younger won't understand.
Then, when Beausay does get to Jesus, it's not a Scripture reference but an off-handed, vague reference to a characteristic Jesus may have exhibited. Sometimes, these references are out of context for what Jesus is doing in Scripture, or lacks cultural insight into the particular Biblical passage.
This book will not be staying in my personal library.
