Holly uncovers it all when she is reunited with her long-lost grandparents at their enchanting Christmas tree farm in the mountains of North Carolina.
As she experiences real family ties for the first time in her life...she is surprised to find a whole lot more hidden in the land where her ancestor, Rois Briody, came to live after being discovered as a stowaway on a ship bound for the United States. With her discovery comes a responsibility to find the rest of the Briody descendants so that they can preserve their ancestral magick endowed upon their family by the faeries many, many years ago.
Teresa Keefer was chosen by her adoptive parents in Warsaw, Indiana and has remained in Indiana all her life. She currently resides in rural Indiana with a menagerie of dogs, cats, goats, chickens and a sheep named Lucy.
She has three beautiful adult daughters and seven fantastic grandchildren who all live a hop, skip and a jump away from her.
Holding an MBA from Indiana Institute of Technology, she has spent the last 30 years in the human resources profession. In her spare time—what little there is—she can be found doing a variety of crafts, cooking, studying the paranormal, making organic remedies, and barefoot gardening.
Her bucket list is quite extensive, and she is determined to mark off every item—as she adds two more for each one accomplished.
Loved this second book in the Wheel of the Witch Series! Holly’s journey from New York City to a rural community in North Carolina was sweet and realistic for a story with elves as characters. Her sweet romance with my new book boyfriend Tyler is well written and unfolds nicely as Holly discovers her roots and a family she never knew. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
I have read quite a few of Ms. Keefers' books and have always enjoyed them. However, this book tops them all. It is a purely phenomenal read that you will not be able to put down once you start it! Grab some snacks, something to drink and get comfortable. It will be well worth the time.
