“My mouth cracks a smile, not knowing what was coming.
It feels like a completely different entity from me, a parasite living on my face, burrowing its way into my body, into my guts.
I need to remove it, it would be ignorant of me not to.”
– Adrian Hollow, “Phonophobia”

Easily one of the my favourite reads of the year. The art is fantastic. Each story is beautifully crafted and genuinely chilling. I was horrified, 90% of the time yet could not tear my eyes off the page. I loved seeing nods to my home town in this book, something about it makes me want to visit those parts of Montreal and simultaneously avoid them at all cost... A great read if you can get your hands on it!
