“Love this series...love the characters...Sadie is awesome and fearless!” – Amazon Reviewer
In the heart of Murder Mountain, the dead hold the secrets of the living…
When Sadie Gray gets called in to help the rugged and isolated DEA agent Luke Calloway on a case deep in the heart of Humboldt County, she’s less than thrilled, and plenty scared. Fresh from a forced and much needed break but without Brad or her usual team for backup, Sadie is pitched into a deadly game of survival on the notorious Murder Mountain. Equipped with little more than an Econoline van, a tent, and just enough prepper gear and food to survive the wild, Sadie must navigate the dangerous and corrupt underworld, where lawlessness reigns and no one can be trusted.
Dead bodies are piling up on the mountain, but no one’s talking. Not about the brutal killings. And not about the new and highly lethal form of meth being produced deep in the woods. The effects of this new wave of crime, however, are evident of the locals' eyes and attitudes. While Calloway struggles to pinpoint the dangerous meth labs hidden among rednecks, hillbillies, and crooked cops, Sadie is tasked with uncovering the person or persons behind a fresh string of murders.
With no safety net, no backup, and no guarantees of making it out alive, Luke and Sadie will risk everything to stop the drug epidemic and the killers terrorizing the small community and its residents. In this high-stakes, high-risk mission, there’s no room for mistakes—and, as always, things are bound to get messy.
Gripping, gritty, and full of twists, the fifth Sadie Gray book—The Girl With No Tomorrow—will have you burning through the pages long past the midnight hour until the very last page. Can Sadie survive long enough to solve the case? Or will the mountain claim yet another victim?
Fans of Mary Stone, A.J. Rivers, Elle Gray, Lisa Regan, Alex Sigmore, and LT Ryan are going to love Sadie Gray and this thrilling new adventure—an edge-of-your-seat, addictive new mystery full of shocking twists and turns and an explosive conclusion.

I just can't help falling in love with Sadie Gray. The story made a referrence to Atlas Hargrove. Will there ever be a story with Sadie and Atlas teaming up? That would be so cool!!!
I really didn't like the DEA agent Sadie worked with. He was a pig. He stated his female boss only got the job because she was a woman. While that does sometimes happen, it's far more common for men to believe that to be true, even when it iisn't. Since this is fiction, and only his POV on that subject, it just makes him look bitter and misogynistic, which he very much was.
I also don't think Sadie needed to go to quite the extremes to look unhoused. That was also brought up a bit too often. She also stumbled into who the bad guy was.
There were references to the state of the country that could have been toned down. The prison in El Salvador was brought up and inaccurately represented. Bringing politics I to fiction is bad form. No matter which way you go, you're going to alienate some readers.
This was the worst book in the series. I hope the next one is better.
This would have been a truly great murder story if so much time wasn't spent on Sadies big mouth, continually getting her beat up. Its hard to accept, even in hillbilly, Red neck murder Mountain that everytime a woman wise mouths some guy he slaps her. It is also hard to accept an FBI agent speaking and behaving this way so consistently.,without any discipline. I'm sorry this wasn't featured as a gruesome murder story, rather than as a dysfunctional FBI agent tale.
I was nervous for Sadie before she even left on assignment. She is one kick ass agent who is going to keep all those bad guys from doing bad things. Excellent storyline with believable characters. Love this series and Sadie Gray!
I love reading the Sadie Gray series. I start reading and before I know it an hour or two has already passed. Great writing and can't wait for the next book to come out
I'm enjoying the series. Well, enjoy is not the best description. The right word is not in my vocabulary. I love the good people and am pleased when the bad are eliminated. Looking forward to the next book.
I think the thing I like most about these stories is that the story doesn't just stop when the case ends. Mr. Schow finishes the story. If that makes any sense at all.
Just finished my 3rd book of Sadie Gray. Still exciting as the previous books. I finished this book at 2:30am even though I have work in a few hours. I just cant put it dowm. Lots of action, funny moments, suspense.
In her first undercover assignment and without Brad, Sadie's challenges get larger, both physically and figuratively. This seems like a baptism of fire on murder mountain and it is not clear who is friend or foe. Good luck.
OMG! this book was soooo good. Loved every minute. Sadie is a Rockstar!! I am really loving this series so much. Ryan Schow is such a great author. Love everything he writes.
I am loving this series! The characters are so real. The dialogue is spot on, and the situations quite terrifying!! But I love how the good guys and girls win.
This series is filled with great characters, exciting stories and excellent writing. I highly recommend reading this series. I can’t wait for the next book.
I am so hooked on Sadie Gray! Bailey James and Ryan B. Schow have hit the jackpot with this series! I stayed up all night reading it. I could not put it down. The characters are so well written, they are amazing. This series is well worth the late nights you spend staying up reading it. I love Sadie Gray! I can’t get enough of her. Thank you Bailey and Ryan for writing it!
