I absolutely loved being able to watch Genesis and Journal prepare for their nuptials. There’s something so satisfying about seeing a couple you’ve watched grow finally step into their forever — and these two deserved every bit of their happy ending.
Genesis loves TF outta Journal and I love that for my girl. Nothing hits better than being loved by a man who not only respects you but truly sees you, listens to you, and creates a space where you feel safe, secure, and protected. And honestly? I don’t even know who loves who more between these two — and that’s a beautiful thing to witness.
Both the bachelor and bachelorette parties were LIT 😂 — the perfect mix of fun, chaos, and love. And that wedding? Beautiful. Truly a full-circle moment watching Journal go from where she started to now living her best life, loved out loud and standing in her happiness.
Of course, you know we couldn’t get all fluff without a little drama sprinkled in — and I was real glad my girl Journal put that Brownie in her place 🙂↕️😂 Proud of her for standing on business!
Overall, this was a great conclusion to the series. It wrapped up their journey in a way that felt earned, emotional, and satisfying. Watching their growth, their healing, and their love unfold across these books has been such a good time.

I listened to the whole series via audio and I enjoyed it! The narration was great and the story was good as well. Diamond is a new-to-me author and I can definitely see myself tapping more into her catalog.
I liked Journal and Slick. Although Journal was sometimes a whole softie, I loved that she loved her man and he loved her just as much right back. This couple would live in each other’s skin if they had the opportunity to do so that's how they loved each other’s company. All in all it was an enjoyable series that I wouldn't mind circling back to one day.

The Banks beautiful Valentines wedding

You did it again Didn’t let us wait too long for chapter story to end.. to read and witness the beautiful Characters journey and genesis(Slick) get married.. The Banks “I’ve read their stories from day one, and Of a deep connection they had towards one another. It wasn’t this a track chain. It was the energy they went to one another, which was genuine and slick knew that journal with special from the first time he met her. I knew that he wanted to make her his lady, and he did, he cut his player card off for her and devoted, all his heart and time into journey , He knew she was definitely a good girl. She wasn’t out there. She just worked and stay to herself, She bought him peace and genuine love. She reassured him that there is real love out there and he found it in her. and he knew that he needed. Out of that genuine love came to beautiful, twin daughters journal and Justice .. This shows so much love to one another together as one forever. I love their Character dynamic, I know more to come as we watch them in their growth in their marriage .I’m looking forward more to come from her sister, harmony and his brother Grady and her best friend China.and his friend Ferrell ..also Bryana .. Thank you for this incredible reading Diamond you did it again. Awesome job well done.

Annoying
Everybody was very immature for their ages. I get they are young adults but come on. I was tired of Journal crying and taking everything to heart, she was very immature and insecure and really needed to work on herself before getting married, she couldn't take a joke. China and the Valentine thing, really. The constant name dropping, price of everything was annoying. The over sharing about each other's sex life, annoying. I also didn't like how Leah's mother was constantly coming at her like she was a hoe. Other than that nothing really happened, it was boring and annoying.

This whole series was so good I could not stop listening to it I listened to all 4 books in 3 days Journal she had been through a lot but when my girl met Genesis her world changed for the better now the only flaw I have with this book is the nickname Journal gave Genesis terrible nickname, but other than that I enjoyed this series a lot My first time listening to a Diamond D Johnson book and the narrators did a great job to midnite Michael never disappoints and Eden lafon first time hearing her and I definitely want to hear more books that she is narrating.

Thanks for giving us the wedding, Genesis and Journal, they have both grown so much! I loved how they both continue to grow as adults, especially Journal! Seeing Journal becoming a mother and wife was so refreshing, based on where she started! Genesis and Grady came full circle just as his family. Loved it from start to finish!
I really want to see China and Farrell though, I can see their story being written!

I just love these characters! I have to agree, that Journal grew in every aspect in her life and she had a support system out of this world. The way Slick loved his woman and never switched inspired the rest of the men to do the same. I’m praying we hear from this group again.

This series was another banger which included some unforgettable characters! The way Genesis and Journal didn’t play about eachother!!!!! Whew! SEND ME A GENESIS!! I’ll even take a Journal! Greatest Read
This is the best story I’ve read all year and I’ve read some really good titles but this romance love story was the best of them all it was everything you’d want in a romance tale… form book 1 I was hooked granted Journal is on the list of annoying characters… but Genesis really has you holding on and thinking about all of the men you’ve encountered and how none of them measure up to him. I’m beyond happy about this book and I know you will be also.

What an Awesome Read. I loved it. I smiled the entire time I read it. The characters were very interesting and I loved them all. Their camaraderie was very strong. The love these characters shared was so real and so touching that I couldn’t stop reacting to them. I didn’t want the storyline to end but all good things must come to an end. Thank you for keeping the Alpha Males faithful. Please read this book you will not regret it.

I Need Another Book
I read each of these books in one day. I dragged book 4 out because I didn’t want it to end. These characters were so well defined. The book was well written. SPOILER: The petty side of me wanted to read thoughts of Winnie and Brownie about the birth of the girls and the wedding announcement LOL In all seriousness this book is definitely worth reading. I hope we get an update on The Banks!

Absolutely Amazing Read
Genesis and Journal had the perfect love story. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their love was beautiful! Their love story motivated their friends to want marriage. Everything about their wedding, including the preparation, was beautiful. This was an amazing read!

It was nice to read about Journal and Genesis wedding. I fell in love with their vows to one another. The love that they share with each other was like no other. Oh and I'm glad that Diamond had Journal serve Brownie right with that beat down. In the future I would love to hear more from these characters. Goodread

Wedding in the air
My journey with Slick, Journal and the crew has been great. I love how Slick lived her. It was an amazing story and I can read this series again over and over. Harmony and Briani completed Journal and it was evident in how much they loved on each other. Ms. Johnson as always did her big one with this series and I love it

Great Ending
This was a lovely journey for Genesis and Journal. They both got exactly what they deserved and wanted in spite of humble beginnings and any situations that was present in their lives. A bad situation turned good. I'm glad they both made it through and got their happy ending. Great Read!

I’ve read countless romance novels over the years, yet Genesis and Journal stand out as two of the best character arcs I’ve encountered in an urban romance series. The Wedding Edition was a perfect way to close it out. If I had one word to describe this series, it would be: “unforgettable.”

Great end to the saga
I mean, I just love this book. I’m so glad diamond Johnson decided to make one last book. I do hope she writes another book about them. This book was so good. A true diamond classic five star all the way.
