The Bible is for you. This is the conviction that sparked She Reads Truth, a worldwide movement of women committed to open their Bibles every day. And it is the invitation of this 66-day devotional from co-founders Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams.

From Genesis to Revelation, Raechel and Amanda have curated a widely accessible and deeply impactful journey through every book of the Bible to help you engage God’s Word right where you are. Each day includes personal stories and reflections from Raechel, Amanda, and other voices in the She Reads Truth community—but first, it starts with Scripture. Carefully selected passages represent each book, along with passages from across Scripture to connect the dots in God’s story of redemption. And in signature She Reads Truth style, every Scripture reading is printed right there on the page! In 66 devotions, you will encounter the unchanging truth of God’s Word, one book of the Bible at a time.

If you have spent years in the stories of Scripture, the Bible is for you.

This 66-day devotional leads readers through every book of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, with Scripture at the center of each day. Designed to be accessible and confidence-building, it connects the big story of redemption through carefully selected passages, reflections, and context—inviting readers, wherever they are, to engage God’s Word faithfully and consistently.

I can’t shut up about this one!! It is a true Bible study masterpiece with the content alone, but the physical book is also stunning. And!! the exposed spine helps it lie flat.

You’d think a Bible study that simplifies the Bible would be a) easy to create and b) easy to read—but you’d be wrong. There’s surprising depth in stripping away details and getting to the heart of what each book of the Bible is really trying to tell us. I loved how this overview both simplifies and showcases the breadth of Scripture. If She Reads Truth’s book-specific studies excel at depth, this is the companion that offers breadth. I learned so much and will definitely be repeating this study in 2026.

Thank you @bhpub for the book! I’ve already bought it for several people for Christmas!

Perfect for you if you like:
Bible overview
Daily, manageable Bible study
Scripture-first devotionals

Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams are the co-founders of She Reads Truth and have both authored Bible studies. Now they're working together to create the devotional, "The Bible Is for You: A Devotional Journey Through Every Book of the Bible." This book is composed of 66 devotionals, each giving a quick summary of a particular book of the Bible, Scripture passages to read, and a short essay. It's a quick, easy read if you just want a broad overview of how the books of the Bible work together. The authors assert that the Bible is "the story of a holy God and His merciful pursuit of the people He created and loves."

Throughout this book, Myers and Williams are very open about their desire for everyone to find the Bible practical and approachable. I especially enjoyed the following quote: "The Word of God is an endless well of truth, and we are determined to keep lowering our buckets." Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

From the opening pages, The Bible Is For You reminded me why I love the heart behind She Reads Truth. Scripture comes first, always, and the reflections feel both tender and true. Raechel and Amanda have created something that helps you encounter the story of God’s Word afresh, one book at a time and one day at a time.

The chapter on Ezra especially spoke to me. Raechel’s words about rebuilding after loss and trusting God with what is still ahead reminded me that our good old days are always ahead of us with God. It felt personal, an invitation to look forward with faith, not just backward with longing.

What surprised me most were the other chapters, 2 Samuel, Ezekiel, and Malachi. These are not books I typically study, yet through the reflections in this devotional they came alive in new ways.

The Bible Is For You is a book I will return to again and again. It reminds me that God’s Word still speaks through every story, every season, and every chapter, inviting us closer to Him.

The authors, Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams, have a gifting for making the Bible accessible and relatable for all - and this book is another great example. As someone who has been blessed by the She Reads Truth Bible and community, I found this devotional to have similar structure. There are 66 devotionals, one for each book of the Bible. Each devotional highlights the major themes and key points of the book, brings in scripture references from other parts of the Bible, and includes a devotional that points us to Jesus and helps us grow closer to God. This book is great as a standalone, but I can see it also being a great compliment to anyone reading through the Bible for the first time or the tenth time. Thank you to NetGalley and B&H Books for the opportunity to review an ARC. All opinions are my own.

I love the simplicity of this devotional. It's simplicity in structure, but also simple in content in a really accessible way. It takes every single book of the bible and presents it in highlights of each book, and also other passages of scripture that connect to the content of that book. Then there's a small devotional at the end on reflections of that book.

I love this resource and it has helped me in bringing clarity to certain books of the bible and I always love seeing other passages of scripture in its entirety. It's sort of like a mini-mini systematic theology - as far as what scripture in its entirety has to say about certain subjects.

Thank you B&H Publishing for the #gifted copy!

If you are looking for a daily devotional that goes through the Bible, this is it! Each day has verses from the book of the day, followed by relating verses from other parts of the Bible, with a devotional that ties it all together. The devotions from Job was amazing and to be honest, this devotional alone made this book worth it, if you struggle with Job like I do. This book is good for people new to the Bible as it breaks it down into highlights and applies it to life. It makes the Bible less overwhelming. It is also great for someone who has read the Bible a few times! I found this a great change from my typical reading the Bible in a Year routine. The target reader would definitely be adult female but I think it could work for an adult male or teen girl.

This is such a great resource. The format provides easily digestible summaries for each book of the Bible. A selected verse is highlighted as the theme for the book followed by a handful of passages, including some from other books to show the Bible as a collection of stories woven together. Finally, each book has a devotion offering greater insight into the book’s themes. This is certainly not a substitute for the Bible itself, so is best used as a supplement or introduction to your study.

Thank you B&H Books and NetGalley for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

5.5 stars. I was so excited to finish this and just as sad that it’s over! It is a devotional that I will be visiting over and over again. It is 66 devotionals, one for each book of the Bible. The first page gives significant verses from that book. The second page ties other Old Testament and New Testament verses to that book of the Bible. And the third page is a one page devotional of how the book fits into the bigger picture of the Bible. Honestly, if I had anything “bad” to say, it would be that the print was way too small for my old eyes.

These ladies have crafted a fantastic devotional that goes through each book of the bible, highlighting different scripture that brings each and every book to life, along with a deeper type of devotional that really makes one think.
