The Stone Saga #3.5

Etched in Stone

Rate this book
A lot can happen on a remote island when nobody is looking…

Alexander promised me a dream honeymoon.
He gave me that and so much more.

We escaped to a secluded, untouched island far from the bustling world. Surrounded by white sand, turquoise waters, and lush palms, we embarked on a journey of love and unbridled discovery.

My enigmatic husband was as ruthless as he was tender.
He had complete control, making my skin burn and my body ache.

On the last night at our tropical paradise, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. I was at the mercy of his every whim, and his obsession knew no bounds.

I belonged to him.

The short novella is book 3.5 in the Stone Sage. I initially read this whole series in 2023 and loved it, so I was excited to re-enter their world again.
This is everything I would have expected of their honeymoon, private jet to Montego Bay and a stunning villa. The description of the beautiful gold and cream canopy bed along with the infinity pool just has me daydreaming of warm, sunny island holidays (to be fair, mine would never look like that, but a girl can dream).
Not only did Alexander plan the whole trip, but he even had Lucy sail down from New York to meet them for the next leg of their trip, being moored off a remote private island. Days filled with sandy beaches and nights under the stars aboard the opulence of their yacht.
It was so sweet that Krystina returned to the island on their last day to carve their initials into the rock (where they had a lot of fun on their first day). This is where the title of the book came from: “The evidence of our love etched in stone forever.”

📖 Etched in Stone
Etched in Stone by Dakota Willink is a tender and passionate novella that offers a glimpse into Krystina and Alexander’s life after the chaos of their earlier struggles. Set during their honeymoon, it’s a story of healing, love, and rediscovery, showing the softer side of their relationship as they finally find peace in each other. The tone is romantic, emotional, and intimate, with a moderate to high spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️, focusing on connection rather than conflict. It’s a beautifully written interlude that celebrates forgiveness, trust, and lasting devotion, ending on a sweet, hopeful note that bridges their turbulent past with a future filled with promise.

Disappointed

Compared to the five-volume series, this is a totally romantic and erotic story without a significant plot. Sorry I bought it.

Cementing their relationship

Thoroughly enjoyed this interlude of Alexander and Krystina's honeymoon. What an ideal area and surrounding for their relationship to blossom.
