HOLY SHIT BALLS!!!
I am absolutely speechless! 😶
His Angel is the second book to Isaia (definitely read this first) and number 10 in the Dark Sovereign Series and wow did it pack a huge smutty punch.
Isaia is an absolute psycho! He is literally the most OTT, possessive, protective and obsessive MMC and I love it so freaking much!!!
This guy should come with a warning, if only for the pure filth and obsessive things he comes out with. I would pay good money for him to call me and spout all that hot goodness into my ear (Sorry husband) 😍😂
I can't even imagine what I'd be like if I listened to this as an audio book, it's probably wise for me to avoid it at all cost.
Isaia is just everything I love in a MMC, he's so unhinged it shocks you at times.
Then you recover and fall even more in love with him 💕
Everly is also just as amazing, I adore how much she loves Isaia and just as intensely as he loves her. And she isn't put off by his craziness and OTT-ness. It actually turns her on!
Which as you can imagine leads to some incredible spicy scenes 🥵 And there's plenty to go around. But don't let this worry you about the plot being all smut, as there the storyline will keep you entertained in-between all the rumpty bumpy.
Argh, I want to declare to the world how much I love Bella J and her Dark Sovereign Series! I encourage anyone who hasn't read these books to start immediately.
Isaia is definitely my favourite brother, he will live rent free in my mind for a long time to come. And I am okay with this 😍
The book does end on a cliffhanger, but don't let that stop you from delving in and enjoying the gift that is Isaia and Everly.

Okay so I went into this second book of Isaia and Everlys story fully anticipating loving it just like I did the first book. Now don’t get me wrong I’m still happy about the continuing story but for some reason the dialogue b/t the MMC and FMC in this book is so much more cringy then in the first book 😭😭 i will still read the last installment of their story just so I can finish it out but unfortunately this second part was disappointing

"Il suo angelo" è il decimo volume della serie "Sovrano Oscuro", e devo dire che l'autrice in questo volume ha dato il meglio di sé, lasciandomi a bocca aperta con un susseguirsi di eventi del tutto inaspettati.
Isaia, in quanto originalità, ha battuto i fratelli Del Rossa. Pronto a proteggere Everly a tutti i costi dai Palladino, il suo modo però non è consono per i Sovrano Oscuro, quindi si ritroverà da solo a combattere per non mettere in pericolo le vite dei fratelli e le loro famiglie, ma questo metterà in pericolo la sua e quella della donna che ama. Le sue azioni porteranno a delle conseguenze pericolose.
La lettura come sempre è stata emozionante, scorrevole e coinvolgente. La testardaggine di Isaia e il suo andare contro ad Alexius mi hanno fatto andare fuori di testa: la tentazione di strozzarlo è stata presente in tutta la lettura.
Il finale mi ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca, e non mi resta che leggere "Scatenato", titolo perfetto per descrivere in una parola Isaia Del Rossa.

Oh my gosh, this was one of the most explosive and perfectly written story I’ve ever read!! Executed beautifully with such vivid details , rich description that made everything feel so much more! Raw, gritty and an obsession that made possessiveness so deep and intense, powerful! Explosive and over the top spice! An abundance of angst that had me on the edge of my seat and frantically turning the pages!! What an incredible experience! Desperately needing the next installment! Phenomenal read!!

What did I think ???? Oh MY Godddd.... I think this madness of Isaia's story should have ended here!!! That's what I think !! This last Dark Sovereign Baby Del Rossa Isaia is a damned loose cannon ..what a revolution of passion and obsession...and his angel !! Oh my my ...truly this cannot be how this book ends on the worst cliffhanger of all... Bella !! This book is labeled Book 10 of 10 !!! Where or when was Unleashed born ...pray tell !!! Isaia is by far the darkest most possessed Del Rossa ever, the most ruthless ... and definitely the END of the Del Rossa loves and thier strange and very dark love for the women they choose as thiers !!! Very disappointed with the story and the way it ends.

Obsession, possession, danger, secrets and lies all wrapped up in spice.
These two are the opposite side of the same coin, while this book wasn’t my favorite in the series I was still eager to see how Isaia was going to keep his obsession in check- there is a lot happening in this story but at the same time it’s a lot of smut that leaves you hoping for more. Personally I am okay with that and it didn’t completely ruin the story for me, the last couple chapters though really got me heart raising and had me eagerly flipping the pages…that cliffy has me desperately wanting the next book.

BookLover questa storia mi ha risucchiata fin dalla prima pagina. Perché Isaia Del Rossa non è un personaggio che si legge e si lascia andare. Isaia ti resta addosso.
Questa volta la storia si chiude dal mondo e si apre su un’isola che non è solo un luogo, ma uno stato mentale. Qui non esiste passato, non esiste futuro. Esiste solo lui. E questa sensazione di isolamento è fortissima, quasi soffocante. L’ho sentita sulla pelle, pagina dopo pagina, come se anche io fossi intrappolata lì.
Isaia è ossessione pura. Ama senza mezze misure: venera, protegge, distrugge. È disposto a uccidere senza esitazione, convinto che sia la cosa giusta. Per lui lei è tutto. Il centro del suo universo. E mentre leggevo continuavo a chiedermi: quanto può essere amore qualcosa che non lascia via di fuga?
Ed è proprio questo il punto forte del libro. Non addolcisce Isaia, non lo giustifica. Ti mette davanti a una relazione intensa, erotica, totalizzante… ma anche profondamente disturbante. Il confine tra protezione e controllo si assottiglia sempre di più, e tu, come lettrice, ti ritrovi divisa: una parte vorrebbe arrendersi a quell’amore assoluto, l’altra scappare il più lontano possibile.
La protagonista sente tutto questo. Dubita, lotta, resta. Perché Isaia non la tiene solo sull’isola… la tiene legata a sé emotivamente, fisicamente, psicologicamente. Ed è impossibile non sentirsi coinvolti in questa dinamica tossica e magnetica allo stesso tempo.
La scrittura è intensa, scorrevole, carica di sensualità oscura. Non è una lettura comoda, né vuole esserlo. È uno di quei libri che ti fanno sospirare, arrabbiare, discutere con te stessa. Io ho alternato momenti in cui volevo scuotere Isaia ad altri in cui… l’ho capito fin troppo bene. Ed è questo che fa paura.
Il finale è una lama. Ti lascia lì, con il cuore in gola, sapendo che non puoi fermarti. Perché Isaia non ha ancora finito di raccontare la sua verità.
Se amate i personaggi moralmente discutibili e le storie che ti restano addosso anche dopo l’ultima pagina, questo libro è per voi.

Book 1 was good, but this one was dragged out. Nothing really happened except for Everly and Isaia on a secluded island just them and security- oh and a lot of sex. Aside from that nothing happened. I will say when Alexius and Leandra visited for a couple days I was not a fan of Leandra in this book. The way she spoke to Everly pissed me off and if I were Everly I would’ve told her to mind her own damn business. The relationship between Leandra and Isaia would’ve bothered me if I were Everly and I would’ve told Isaia that. He should’ve put Leandra in her place more than he did instead of leaning into her touch. And it was so hypocritical of Isaia to have had an issue with Everly being friends with Anthony when his relationship with Leandra went further than just friends. I was so waiting and hoping for Everly to throw that in his face, but she didn’t, maybe in the book. I’m hoping because after this ending and her finding out Anthony is alive and Isaia knew, well I’d be a little pissed.

Ok.. Isaia.. what?!? This book is everything.. both books. I mean these books pulls you in from page one and will definitely keep you there. I’ve devoured this entire series, but this one hits different. I love a OTT jealous and possessive MC and this book gives it all!! And Everly is just perfect in all ways. I love her! I also love my favorite Alexius and Leandra being adding to this story because when I first started reading it, it reminded me of how Alexius loved Leandra. And Anthony is to Everly as Leandra is to Isaia. Can I also say how I love Anthony and want to see his story play out in book. This book was love building in the best way.. it was everything. I can NOT wait for the next books. I need it like yesterday lol. Bella J.. you are one amazing author!!

i skipped all his brothers books because they share their wifes with the brothers
(no idea if Isaiah had done something with them, i rather not knowing lol🤮 at least from what i know he doesn't and would never share Everly.)

⚠️ Another cliff hanger!
Ugh!! I really love Bella’s books, but her cliffhangers kill me! I was NOT expecting this one, as her other books were only duet stories. This one is a trilogy though, so be warned in advance. Had I realized that, I would have waited for the last book to come out before I read this one. 😭

Isaia is a dark, possessive romance that explores the intense relationship between Isaia Del Rossa and Everly Beaumont. The second part to this story just keeps getting better and building off the first. The story is marked by Isaia's obsessive behavior, their undeniable chemistry, and the complexities of their world. I love Everly and the cliff hanger is absolutely killing me! Bella is an expert at sucking you into a book. Can’t put this one down

Holy cow!!! Freaking awesome read!! So good. Intense storyline, that took my emotions on a roller coaster ride with all the ups and downs. Caught myself holding my breath at times wondering what would happen next. Steamy scenes will leave you needing a cold shower. His Angel is a suspenseful story that is a wonderful addition to The Dark Sovereign series!!!!!

His Angel ( the second book in Isaia and Everly's story and was so good. With twists and turns on almost every page, I was kept captive to Bella's words as she told their story. Ending in a cliff hanger (of course) I found myself very impatient until their conclusion comes out. The Dark Sovereign series has been a favorite of mine and I hope yours.

Dark and gritty but what one has come to explain from Isaia!! This book ends on a massive cliffhanger and make sure that you’ve read book 1 (Isaia) prior to this one so this all makes sense. If you thought Isaia was intense in the first book, hold on because he’s about to take you on a ride to show you all the things he’ll do to keep Everly his and safe! Need to see how this ends for them!!

I had a hard time getting through this book. The MC kills her best friend and she forgets all because the sex is great. I don't know who the bigger sociopath is. This story could have done with half the sex scenes, and it still would have been too much. Everly was such a needy doormat, and Isias could suck the soul and life out of a saint.

Everything I Expected From This Series
Bella J never disappoints with this series. You get spice, fiesty women, Possessive with a capital P men, and a great love story with a side kink. Enjoyed the book thoroughly and cannot recommend this entire series enough.

Well HOT DAYUM!! I knew I would love this book so much. The intense feeling and explosive pairing of these two is off the charts! Getting to know them more in this book was awesome. BUT... That ending just about killed me. I totally cannot wait for UNLEASHED!

A really gripping storyline. From passion, lies, secrets, obsession and so much more this book has you on the edge right through. Isaia’s need for control and his obsession reaches new levels but leads to more danger for them all. A great story, can’t wait for the next book in this series.

My predictions were correct - FMC feels terrible because she lied and of course the guy had to be alive, because how else would she have felt better about moving on? Incredibly boring.

We're back in The Dark Sovereign Series with Isaia & Everly!
OMG.... This book..... I can't even.....
You know how some trilogies you read could have been condensed into fewer pages/books? This isn't one of those—not once did I feel like the story was dragging or that I was bored with it. Bella J has a way of writing that draws you in without even realizing it—it's almost poetic!
So.... Onto the review.... this book begins just after the whirlwind of events happened at the end of 'Book 1 - Isaia'.
Isaia brought (some may say kidnapped 😏) Everly to his family's remote island to keep her safe since there are people out for revenge. He isn't willing to lose her and will protect her at ALL costs.
“No one will ever take you from me again, Everly Beaumont. I will carve a river of blood through this world before I let that happen.”
When Everly first woke up on the island and the memories flooded back, she felt pulled in all directions and couldn't calm the chaotic, conflicting mix of emotions swirling within her. They were all-consuming, and she didn't know how to deal. But Isaia had a way with words that made her melt. All the noise in her head calmed, leaving only raw desire, allowing us to experience their undeniable and inescapable love!!
“Want? Oh, baby girl, it’s so much more than that.” He stalks closer, his frame towering. “I want a cigarette. I want a lifetime supply of free bourbon. I want world fucking peace. But you? I don’t want you, Everly Beaumont. I fucking crave you. Deep in my marrow, I yearn for you. Even when I’m with you, inside you, that deep, dark hankering is still there. It’s like I can’t get my fill of you, like I’m trying to pour water into a broken fucking glass while I’m dying of thirst.”
These two were THE perfect couple, their chemistry was off the charts, sometimes like a burning fire and others like a slow, sensual dance. The sexual tension and spice were mind-blowing, and there's plenty of it!! Isaia.... not sure how to put him into words. He's beyond obsessed with her - she's his entire world; he eats, breaths & lives only for her. Everly was also enamoured by him; her feelings for him were beyond anything she'd felt before.
Their banter was absolute perfection, and the way he didn't just let her off the hook when she tried to push him away made me giddy. And he stayed with her no matter what she threw at him:
“Well, that’s debatable. Jesus.” He shakes his hand. “We’re biting now?” 🤭
We also got a few flashbacks in the book, which gave us a glimpse into Everly's life, adding even more depth to the book. Also, I was happy to see some of the characters from the previous books, it always makes me smile seeing couples I've previously read about.
But no matter how hard Isaiah tries to protect her, there's always a worry hanging over their head. With the threats of revenge lingering and damaging secrets being kept, I was in constant suspense, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
The last half of the book, the cliffhanger and the twist at the end.... 😳 My heart is in my throat and I don't think I'll breathe again until the next book is out.... I'm not okay.... (In a 'I loved this book' kind of way!)
I can't recommend this book enough (start with book 1 first)!

Isaia is a psycho! With a capital OBSESSIVE!
I can't explain it. you just have to read it.
This storyline is so my vibe, especially with where we end up! I ate that up and can't wait for the next book.
This book is mostly spice. Like non stop. So if you're in the mood for that, you will be pleased. It got to be a bit much for me, especially once I knew where things were headed and I just wanted to get there. So I did skim (not skip) some of those scenes - still read them to get the gist because I'm not a psycho.
Wow. Nicoli is still my number one but Isaia might be taking that #2 spot from Caelian.
