Not every ballerina’s steps lead to the spotlight. Some pirouettes waltz into shadows, their grace bound by unseen scars and chains. And I’ve seen my fair share of them. When my grandfather died, I sought refuge in a small town. I just wanted to rebuild, refocus, and forget my horrific past. But a chance encounter throws me right in the path of three vigilante Kings, and now I can’t get rid of them.
THE REAPER, THE CROW, & THE
Not every case leads to justice. Some crimes go unpunished, their perpetrators protected by those in power. We step in when the system fails. Bound by honor and driven by need, we fight to bring light to the darkest corners. And her case lands in our laps. But it’s not the system that failed her—no, it’s much more sinister than that.
Now fate has set the stage, and the curtain will rise.
Secrets & Lies is Spring's story, the first in a trilogy of an interconnected series, planned for rapid release. Book one ends on a CLIFFHANGER. It's a dirty slow burn with explicit sexual tension, and a full list of tropes, triggers, and content warning is available on the author's website.
The Season Sisters Saga is a dark contemporary romantic suspense series. Spring's story is a why choose romance with brothers, so the FMC will have more than one love interest. The remaining season sisters are all MF pairings.
Emerson Reign is a Contemporary Dark Romance author living in the Pacific Northwest. She is known for creating intricately wordy, woven tales where the characters always get what they want.
Thanks in no small part to George R.R. Martin, her current book series in in the developmental stages with seven books completed. As the oracle of her family, she is used to telling stories. From a young age she could be found with a diary, journal or notebook in hand for jotting down ideas and poems.
When not writing, Emerson is immersed in family life, reading a book or tending to a needy dachshund while the calm terrier mix sighs heavily.
one of the male lead got a blow job from another girl despite being obsessed with the Fmc and trying to date her, he kisses the fmc later too.
and acts like this: “Wow, really? This is Brian. We work together.” She introduced him with a sigh. I immediately felt relieved, and then I frowned. “You hug all your male coworkers?” I asked, ignoring him. This woman had me so twisted. I deserved all the shit my brothers had been giving me.
I hate hypocritical and misogynistic authors so much, so she can't hug a friend but he can get a blow job from a random girl? this is really pathetic, he's a 30 year old man. will never read from this embarrassing author again, freak show

5⭐️ 4 🌶️ H-o-l-y. c-r-a-p. I am HOOKED!!! This story is a slow-burn, dark, why-choose romance for sure. Check the trigger warnings before embarking on this reading journey, as this book is definitely dark. Emerson Reign has laid out a captivating storyline with compelling characters. I thought the plot was fantastic, and definitely catered to my like for suspenseful/thriller reads, while also beautifully executing a spicy slow-burn romance. The multiple POVs of the MCs provide a very interesting and complete insight into other characters and the way the story is told. The style is easy to follow, and well paced. I never felt like it was a get-to-the-point-type of book. It kept my attention the whole way through, and left me wanting more. The MMC, King brothers are sexy vigilante men and have unique tastes in the bedroom. The FMC Kinsly, is a feisty little dancer with a haunting past. Watching the relationships form between her and the brothers felt natural and never forced. She is a likable FMC that is easy to root for, and the sexy King brothers will leave you squeezing your thighs together, just like Kinsley. Thank you to Emerson for providing me with an ARC copy of Secrets & Lies in exchange for my honest review. I CANNOT wait to get my hands on the next story.
Absolutely phenomenal! Right from the very beginning I was interested and invested! I loved the way part one focuses on “Spring” from the time of kidnapping to when she is rescued (however I would have loved to see more of her healing process with Owen) and part two focused on Kinsley and the three King brothers (and we get all the POVs)
This book was dark in the very beginning through all the trauma but as the story evolved I was finding it less dark, but that didn’t make the story or vibes lack at all which I fully appreciated! I loved the banter among the brothers and the fierceness to Kinsley around game night and the whole Jenna thing😅🫣
I’m already finding myself wanting book two in my hands because I still have so many questioned that weren’t answered and even more that came just from the ending!
This was a highly anticipated read for me as someone who appreciates a good why choose romance. The author did not disappoint. She set us with a haunting backstory for our FMC, Spring and takes the reader into an elegant dance of suspense and seduction. The mysterious allure and headstrong female character feels both empowering and relatable to anyone who has ever tried to reinvent themselves from a trauma laced past. The author delivers a multi pov story that offers depth to each of the characters and nourishes the temptation on every page. This slow burn is tasteful and authentic but no less enticing. I look forward to reading the rest of the Season Sisters stories and uncovering their unique dance with each of their male counterparts. 5 ⭐️ 4 🌶️
Secrets & Lies by Emerson Reign started so dark, and I do read dark, but I have to say, this one hit differently. The themes are intense, and some of them touch on very sensitive topics, so definitely check the trigger warnings before jumping in. Multiple POVs, not just from the MCs, are present, which I loved because they added so much depth to the story. We got to see into so many characters’ heads, not just the MCs. And let me tell you—once I hit 25%, I was hooked. The plot just grabbed me, and I couldn't stop reading. The FMC, Kinsley (aka Mischa, aka Spring), has an absolutely heartbreaking past. Kidnapped at 8, rescued at 10, and now at 21, she’s trying to heal and move forward, but you can feel how much her trauma still affects her. She’s a ballerina, but her story is anything but a fairy tale. The MMCs? They’re three brothers: Alek “the Reaper” (31), Nik “the Crow” (31), and Ivan “the Blade” (30). 🔥🔥🔥 I’ve got to say, this was one of the slowest burns I’ve ever read, but it was so worth it. The tension? Off the charts. They are unhinged in almost every way but respect her as well. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It ended with a cliffhanger. I’m already itching for the next book, and I have some guesses about what’s coming, but I’ll have to wait and see. If I had the next book, I’d be diving in right now. Also, I love how the author included Russian in the story, and all of it was translated for us.
Cannot wait for the next book!! 📖📖
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Wow. Where to begin. This was about a young girl who was in a car accident with her parents. But it wasn’t an accident. Someone was following them from the establishment they had just left. Her parents didn’t survive and she was taken. 2 years later she was rescued by Owen and his team. She was being groomed as a submissive with 3 other girls. They all left together and she stayed with Owen since she had no family while the girls went back to their families. She changed her name to Kinsley and put her past behind her as best she could. One day in dance class she recognized someone from her past and he recognized her but she told him that it wasn’t her when he asked. He didn’t believe her so he hired private detectives 3 brothers to find out more about her. They were also vigilantes. They got close to her but she didn’t open up that easily. Can’t wait for the next book.
I wanted to really love this, and while I really liked the characters, the plot, the chemistry and the slow burn...I didn't like that the MMCs are with other women in this. It made it a lot harder for me to like the MMCs and so I did struggle in parts to continue and admittedly skimmed those parts. The MMCs are all really interesting and addictive though, this does follow Alek more than the others as he falls for her first (but you do get to slowly know the others as it progresses). He is frustratingly overbearing, but at the same time I can't help but love it especially as you see him soften and evolve for her...and him struggling at the end made me want to keep him! The FMC has a lot of trauma, and whilst you see glimpses of it I wanted more pain and angst, and like the MMCs I was left with questions and mystery (cleverly done as it made me want to pick up the next book to get more from her). I also really liked the fact that the MMCs each had their own vulnerabilities too, it defintely made them feel more real and desirable. Whilst there is some OW drama, I appreciated that it didn't take over and become the centre of the plot. The character and relationship development, along with the heated chemistry, is defintely what kept me reading this and I will be picking up the next in the series because that cliffhanger was BRUTAL.
Not every step a ballerina takes will lead to the spotlight. A pirouettes waltz's into the shadows, their grace bound by the unseen scars and chains that bind that ballerina to the shadows. And she's seen her fair share of shadows. When her grandfather died, she decided that she needed time, hiding out in a small town. All she wanted was to rebuild her life and refocus, and she just wanted to forget all about her horrid past. Then, just a single encounter changes her future, and it puts her in the path of the three vigilante Kings. Now, she can't get rid of them, and they will not leave her alone.
The Reaper, The Crow, & The Blade. They know that not every case is going to lead to justice and that there are going to be those crimes that do go unpunished and that their perpetrators are actually going to be protected by people who are in power.
They are the ones who step in when the system fails and the are the one's who are bound by honor and driven by need. All they want is to bring light to the darkest corners of the city. Then her case ends up in our laps, our hands itching to clean up the mess. This time is different, though. This time, it's not the system that failed her. No, it's actually much much darker than that.
Fate's now set the stage for us to take center stage, and like always, the curtain will not fail to rise.
Secrets & Lies is the 1st book in a trilogy of interconnected series, and this book focuses on spring and tells her story. The series is planned for rapid release. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's dirty, slow burn, with explicit sexual tension.
YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!! Know your triggers. Please go to the author's website to check the trigger warnings before reading this book as some triggers can be upsetting to some readers.
The Seasons Sisters Saga is a dark contemporary romance suspense series. Spring's story is a why choose romance with brothers. The FMC is going to have more than one love interest and isn't going to have to choose between them. The remaining sisters will all be MF pairings.
This is an amazing book, absolutely fantastic. From the first page, I was interested, and within the first few pages, I was invested in the storyline, the plot, and the characters. I found it very interesting the way the first part of the book was mainly focused on Spring and her kidnapping to when she was found and rescued. Sadly, Emerson chose to skip over a lot of Springs' healing process with Owen. And I would have like to have seen more of that part of her journey. Part two of this book focuses on Kinsley and the three King brothers. And I absolutely loved how we got to read the book from all their POVs.
I found that at the beginning of this book, with all the trauma, the book is very dark and emotional. But, I found that as the novel evolved, I found that it became less and less dark, but Emerson kept all the vibes that I had come to love in this story. I adored the banter that the brothers had and the absolute fierceness to Kinsley around game night. And then there is the whole Jenna thing?
I want the next book like yesterday because I have so many questions that this book didn't answer, and with this ending, I have even more now that I just want an answer to.
If you haven't already read Secrets & Lies by Emerson Reign, then I highly recommend you pick it up ASAP as it is a great read, and you are not going to regret reading it.
New author for me. Really enjoyed most of the book, especially the FMC. I love her no filter in how she speaks to the men, there are some seriously funny bantering.
I loved, LOVED the Uber part, when the FMC kept enforcing her boundaries with Alek & refused to let him meet her at the plane & instead she was like nope. Very rarely do I read a fmc doing that to the mmc. I worry that the fmc will stop doing that- enforcing boundaries as the series goes on.
What i hated is all 3 men have long term fuq buddies that they are with through out the entire book- even though they are all drooling, kissing & among other things with the FmC. Hated how the FMC was okay with this as well. She may have thought it was weird at first that Nik was flirty with her right infront of his fuq buddy girlfriend, but that didnt stop her from TWICE creating scenarios that had her topless or in tiny pj's with all 3 men.. I'm sorry but there is no universe in the world that I'd allow a stupid, card game scenario ruin the friendship with my best friend and do sexually suggestive stuff with the guy my bestie was crushing hard on. Let alone withthe 2nd brother while his gf watched.
The amount of times the FMC "presented" or whatever they were calling it to all 3 guys were the other 2 girls watched was disgusting & I lost all respect for the FMC. She's a fuqing tease, leading them all on by sprinkling BDSM details around all 3 guys to get them hot & bothered, only to pull away & be like "nope".
Ugh, why do authors always have to get i to the bdsm aspect of things? I don't want to read about an overly independent fmc losing herself and allowing men to come in & take over her very body & life, essentially erasing herself to become a pet.
Nik is borderline ick right now, listening to the guys discuss their "subs" and their inner monologues about their threesoms etc was ick Talking about bringing random toys- that you know arent brand new & has been used on 100's of their women is ick
And a question went thru my head, all 3 guys have women go thru a psych evaluation before they can "play", this weeds out those with problems or trauma. What if the FMC fails? Would they drop her, lose interest? Is the BDSM lifestyle more important to the guys more than the FMC?
That's the problem that I have with these type of romances is the lifestyle outweighs normal life & that's not freedom or a relationship. & I'm not wanting to be 7disappointed.
Dnfd book 3. I seriously don't know if I'll ever read anything else from this author ever again. Gone is the independent, fiesty FMC that kept setting boundaries in bk 1. Shss just a doormat that allows her men to come trol EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF HER LIFEA. The men kept doing things to her sexually I front of her own best friend & her bf to tge point that they are no longer friends. The mmcs allow their own friends (fellow doms) to punish their fmc as well - which is disgusting. No sharing outside of the harem pls (even if no smex) All 3 men will continue to "train" new women that come into the club- they claim they aren't touching her, that it's all my commands but the fmc just lays down & takes it even though it upsets her & kisses her off. Hate & loathe bdsm stories where the men have placed bdsm & their sexual preferences ABOVE their fmc. In other words the way that it's written is the men love their kink way more than the fmc. Proven by their refusal to stop training female subs.
OK... I don't know it, but I'm pretty sure Emerson did it on purpose... 😁 The beginning was a bit (ok ok, a lot) confusing 🙈 It's really only the beginning, like the first 9% (if you read the prologue first, it's not confusing), but it's part of the story and will make sense right after that. And yes, even though it was confusing, I was already hooked. I needed to know what's coming. I needed to know who all these people were. And who is this 10-year-old girl whose POV I just read? I mean, come on, 10 years!!?? 😲 It didn't make any sense 🤔
I don't want to say too much, because why should I go alone through this t0rture 🙈 But as soon as the Kings appear, everything was so clear and oooh these men 🫣 Is there another word, a stronger word, for intense? If so, please tell me, because that's Alek! He is more than just OTT. He is the top of the top of the top. And I'm so looking forward to reading book 2. Not just because the cliffhanger is ☠️ me. I just need to learn more about his dominant side. And not just his, Nik and Ivan too. What girl didn't want to have three very 🔥 Doms? 😎
The 🌶️ in this book is more like between 1 and 2. Yes, I still gave the book 2🌶️ because there were a few 🔥 scenes, especially the truth or dare game they played at "game night" 🥵 So 🥵 And still no actual smex 😎 I hope that will change in book 2 (but even if not, the book is sooo good that I'm 100% sure, that even with low 🌶️ it will blow my mind 🤯
I honestly don’t know what to think of this story. Book 1 in the trilogy. I feel it is all over the place. The FMC has a traumatic past. It swings back and forth if she is strong or naive. One minute she is pushing them away, the next minute she’s having a PTSD reaction, the next minute she’s pulling a knife on one of them, in the next minute she’s engaging with them and teasing them physically. The MMCs are vigilantes but have clubs and are Doms. Things just don’t equal in the storyline. It isn’t a RH at this point. The Fmc is mostly with 1 MMC and not a true physical relationship. All the MmCs are brothers. They all go away for a weekend. Kinsley and Alek, Nik + his Sub-Jenna, and Ivan and his date who is her BFF. They play “games” and it is just weird. Drinking games with naughty. And Alek did some “physical” things with Jenna in front of everyone while playing this game. Just awkward. Nik is very “loud” with Jenna in their room, and that the FMC was able to hear it all. Kinsley and Alek get into a weird argument and stop talking. Then they are both heartbroken and he is sleeping around with multiple subs. They are investigating her and her past. I thought going into the series that they were going to be all in and protective (how the recommendation was on FB) but that is not the priority. It focuses a lot on the Dom/Sub life. She of course is a V. Alek never explains to her about his lifestyle. There is not much relationship building. It is just all over leaving me going…what did I just read??? I am going to try next book …

5⭐️ Read by a 5 ⭐️ new author. The book is a slow burn but the tension is automatic.
Please check the trigger warnings!
A lot of RH Novels are all smut no substance. The focal point seems to only be on the spice (which is fine if that’s what you’re wanting) and not on creating characters that you can’t get enough of.
To me, Emerson’s writing flowed beautifully. The start of the book is focused on what the FMC endured as a child and then flashes forward to her as an adult. The book has multi POV which is important in a RH Novel- to understand how each character is feeling, their struggles, their thought process.
The FMC Kinsley has seen so much pain in her life and was sheltered from the world at times- holding on to just survive. She struggles with self doubt (as many of us do), insecurities from the trauma she suffered, but she is also so strong. She expresses these emotions through her dancing and singing. She is a performer in her soul.
She entrances the men who come into her life. They try so hard to keep her at arm length.
The Reaper, The Crow, The Blade, come into her life investigating her past - not realizing that her life is a land mine, and they have just stepped on it. Everything they think about her is not as it seems. Their banter is top tier between the brothers and their found family, Marcel and Sebastian.
I do not want to spoil anything but what I will say, is these characters have layers, and I cannot wait to peel them back.
This book was so good! It starts a bit slow, but yet it gives you just enough to stay interested. It's excellent background (although more time with Owen would have been good) so that you can understand Kinsley's (also known Mischa and Spring) story of being kidnapped at 8, rescued at 10, and she is currently 21 (and has been recognized). She's the perfect tragic torn FMC and you'll feel her heartbreak and be there for each struggle.
Once she meets the vigilante King brothers, things definitely pick up. There's a definite electric passion between them and they each deal with it in such different ways. The twins, Alek (Reaper - 31) and Nik (Crow - 31), along with younger brother Ivan (Blade - 30) give you so much tension and burn. They're rather unhinged and obsessed. For me, I almost hated to love them!
Written in multiple POV (FMC and MMC). 🚩Check for the trigger warnings!🚩 This book does end in a cliffhanger, so be warned (as also stated in the blurb).
4 ⭐️ 3.5 🌶️ MFMM (Why Choose RH) Slow Burn Dark Touch Her and ☠️
I received this book from Emerson Reign as an ARC to give my honest review on this book.
Slow burn and dark romance your thing? Then this book is for you! It is the first book in what's going to be an amazing series. The basis of the story is around human trafficking. The FMC's background and continued struggles from this being part of her life. The start of the book, we learn about our FMC's early life - for me, I could have used just a little bit more in this section. The MMCs - the King brothers also have a connection to it - tho there's part of their story that we still don't know. There were several twists and turns I wasn't expecting - including the cliff hanger ENDING! I knew it was coming, just the "what" part caught me off guard. Other than feeling I wanted a bit more in the beginning - I felt the pace was perfect - about 75% of the way in - I had more then enough questions without answers to know that this series is going to be amazing. I received this book as an ARC read and I'm so glad to have found this author with this story! Def check the trigger warnings. Also, while there are some spicy scenes - I have a feeling when our MC's all get together (hopefully REALLY EARLY in the next book) it's gonna be off the charts spice!
This is my first time reading a book by Emerson reign and let me tell you it won't be my last. It's the first book in the series and what a start it was! I could not put it down for the life of me once I started. It had me gripped turning page after page needing to know more about our fmc, the 3 brothers and their journey.
It's a rollercoaster ride with twists and turns you don't see coming at all. It's packed with so much including action, drama, suspense, healing, multi pov's, hot men, slow burn and so much more.
The characters, storyline and plot where written amazingly, it had me sucked into their world and wouldn't let me go.
Blade, reaper and the crow are our 3 brother mmc's and damn those men🔥 Kinsley aka spring is our fmc, she's been through so much and seen shit she never should have. But after a while she's on a journey of healing, it's bloody heartbreaking.
It's definitely a gripping, dark, raw, heartbreaking and intense journey and story. But it's also beautiful. That cliffhanger thou , god damn. I can't wait for the next one. Highly recommend!!
This books secrets have secrets, and you need a pen and paper and a detective badge to get to the bottom of them. Every other page and paragraph has a new secret or dirty little lie to make you hurry up and read to get the answer. I was so deep in this book I didn't come up for air until I was at the end.
This is a slow burn reverse harem that revolves around a sinister deed. Our MFC was right in the center of this as a child. Now she's an adult living life a new. We have our three MMC Alec, Nik, and Ivan brothers who are very much intrigued with our girl. They are trying to uncover the truth of our girl. By doing this, they are uncovering way more, and it's also bringing questions of why they are so interested and who exactly are they.
With threats coming from every side, our girl needs to be strong and stand up for herself. Our guys need to answer some questions. Unfortunately, we don't get them before this book ends with a massive cliffhanger.
I’m starting this off by giving a big thank you to the author for gifting me an ARC of the sequel to this book. After typing my review I am immediately starting on the next book in this series. I love the King brothers, Aleksandr, Ivan, and Nikolai and their bond. However, my absolute favorite character is Kinsley. I absolutely adore her and I’m on the edge of my seat to find out what happened. I love that she’s a dancer and does ballet and the other trope that I just adore is that the MCs are bilingual/multilingual. It is a definite plus that Russian is the language and that the brothers will sometimes call her the nicknames in Russian. I highly, highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to get started on book two, and I definitely will be sticking around to see Summer, Autumn, and Winter as well. I am obsessed with this universe.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / Out of 5 Stars ⭐️
Genre/Tropes ✨ Dancer MC, Russian MCs, Why choose?, Multilingual/Bilingual MCs,Nicknames in a foreign language, Russian nicknames, BDSM, obsession, romance, dark romance, slow burn, suspense
This book is pretty dark so be warned, it is also RH so if that's not your cup of tea then please don't dive in! It starts of in the past where we see Mischa being kept captive with other girls who she each calls a season. These girls are carrying a lot of trauma. She is rescued and then the story jumps to the present day where Mischa is now Kinsley. She is recognised by an old dance partner and he asks our three main leads The Reaper, The Crow and The Blade to look into her. They are used to cleaning up the trash and when I say that I mean all the bad in the world. Aleksander is particularly taken with her, bordering on obsessive. She is also drawn to him and can't explain why as he is a walking red flag!
I really enjoyed how this book pretty much gives us the history and build up to our characters. The main story will be seen throughout the remainder of the series.
This book is a dark read and is one of the slowest burn, highest angst books I’ve read in a long long time. Usually, I wouldn’t keep reading as slow burns are not usually my thing but this storyline and these characters BLEW my mind! I have read both this book and the second one in 3 days. I tuned everything else out so that I could keep reading this.
Kinsley’s story is heartbreaking, and I cried for her. I loved how Alek pursued her and how Ivan and Nik fell for her. So while, my heart got broken, it was on the mend but then . . . yes, the story does end on a cliffhanger but book 2 is out and is also amazing.
I promise you, this book will NOT let you down. In fact, you should book a time to read it because everything else will fade away while you embrace this story.
The plot of this story......wow. It was so easy to read and flow through it. I absolutely love the writing style. It was emotional, funny, captivating, aggravating. It just put my feelings through the ringer.
Kinsley... ugh how much I love her. She has been through it all. Hearing her story has me feeling every emotion. I was rooting for her the whole way through. But don't think a sad past made her weak she is far from that!
The King brothers.... I can't say enough. Yes just yes. All three of them are just absolute perfection in their own ways.
Definitely recommend Definitely check content warnings first because this is a heavy one!
I was not expecting how good this book would be. It sent me on such a journey in which along with the FMC Kinsley. A one point I was crossing my fingers for aleks and kinsley and the next I was as pissed and exasperated as kinlsey was. Title is correct and there are so many secrets and lies (for good reason) but man did it give me anxiety at times. That being said I loved it and read it in 1 sitting. I cannot wait for the next one because that cliffhanger was rough. I want to see aleks grovel or at least say sorry, I want to see where the investigation goes and I want to see the relationship with kinsley and Ivan and Nik fill out a bit more too! Overall, loved it!
I really tried liking this book, but it was impossible. The FMC says one thing and does another, doesn't like one of the mcs , can't blame her, cuz dude is fucking disgraceful, but kisses him passionately, has training of survival and self defense but behaves like a fucking potato. The mcs are equally atrocious and disgusting. The one who immediately gets obsessed with the FMC wants to make her his bitch..... Is that suppose to turn me on, when it's said in a normal conversation, without discussing any links or knowing the fantasises of the other person. I don't know how people liked this book, when I couldn't even finish this book, that only increased by disgust level with each page turn. An utter disappointment.
I couldn't put this book down once I started! Wow!! I loved Kinsley. She is a survivor and fighter. She has the right amount of sass and strength. Aleksandr, Ivan, and Nikolai, those brothers were hot!! Oh, Alek...he made me swoon and sweat. 😉 I can't wait to learn more from the other two in the next book. 🤞 This book had so many emotions, a little drama, so much sexual tension and a bit of spicy goodness. Also, a side of suspense. I think this was an excellent start to Kinsley's story! I'm not gonna lie though. That ending had me screaming!! I need the next book as soon as possible!!
Okay so this is a slow burn done absolutely fantastically. The tension between the FMC and the MMCs is so thick. I love the immediate chemistry but our FMC is both innocent but in some ways she isn't.
This book draws you in right from the beginning. There are so many hints at what is going on but we don't know why. Who is the FMC and why was she taken? Why are these men looking into her?
I have so many questions that I need answers to. I am absolutely hooked and can't wait to see what is in the letter and what happens next.
Also wondering if we will see some of those other characters again at any point ...
Emerson did a captivatingly amazing job on this ! and I can't wait to read more! I love a good why choose and this was W-O-W I loved the FMC Spring her passion for dancing is built for her soul and the king brothers Alex the Reaper, Nik the Crow and Ivan the blade three handsomely amazing mean that'll def leave you clenching your thighs together! Unhinged is an understatement yet this is and slow burn but the spicy scenes in this is O-M-G This leaves off on a cliff hanger and I can't wait to read more of the other Season's sisters I was hooked at 10% and just couldn't set this read down! Dark Slow burn yet spicy why choose No isn't an option little Love

Kinsley was dealt a horrible ordeal. She lost both her parents brutally and then was taken and went through stuff no little girl should have to go through. 2 years before she is rescued and saved by Owen who helps her for the next several years. She eventually looses him and has to endure being on her own. Pavel or Pasha as Kinsley remembers him goes to a private investigator to find out if Kinsley is the little girl he remembers from his past who's supposedly dead. And that opens something Kinsley never seen coming. Here comes the Reaper, the Crow, and the Blade. This is defiently a read you don't want to miss. Lies, secrets, and lots of unanswered questions.
Wow what a read it started with Kinsey getting kidnapped while her parents were killed in front of her she waits 4 other girls all held captive they aren’t allowed to talk to each other and because Kinsley is stubborn, she breaks the rules where she gets punished severely She and the other girls finally get recused and she gose into hiding with Owen who looks after and teaches her to defend herself Sue works 2 jobs and then meets the King brothers there intense but are trying to find out her secrets This book was amazing and can’t wait for the next in this series
This book was hands down phenomenal. Normally, slow burn can't keep my interest, but ong I couldn't put this one down. I didn't want to sleep because I had fomo so bad. I honestly couldn't get enough of it. It's filled with tons of secrets, twists and turns, b!tches you want to slap, MMC's you can't help but swoon over, some delicious spice and some of the most incredible angst I have ever read. The tropes are excellent, in my opinion. After that cliffhanger, I may need a new heart because that left me shook. I highly recommend this is one of the best books I've read all year.
The book starts off dark and not like Haunting Adeline dark but one that hits differently (always different when children are involved ) but it was a necessity for the main characters growth. The chemistry you see in the future between Alek and Kinsley is amazing from the moment he meets her . However the chemistry between Kinsley and all the brothers is what gets me going . The hint of spice between them all I hope the next books goes in the direction i think it’s going in 😍😍. Fair Warning the book leaves off with a cliffhanger
