The story follows Swecha, a sincere district collector with a sorrowful past that made her quite apprehensive about the intentions of men. She focuses on her work and service rather than pondering on love.
On the other hand Rudra is a ruthless billionaire who doesn't forgive any mistake not does he forgot the people who commit them. He is undeniably handsome and has seen heartbreak up close.
They got married but something happened that lead to Swecha run away from her loving husband. And now, after two years she is back. Rudra won't let it slide just because she is wife and loves her.
He is about to make her life dance to rhythm he sets tune to however she is adamant to win him, his love back at any cost.
The Billionaire's second love weaves in an engaging and swoon worthy romance with brilliant portrayal of emotions and unpredictable twists. The exploration of past in a dual timeline perfectly achieves a sense of understanding that I gained on both the protagonists. The story navigates through some profoundly deep topics that forges a rather emotional connection to the characters. The plot execution is masterfully crafted and honestly this was a page-tuner because I read the entire book in a single sitting. The characters are well written and this would the only time when I came across a gracious mother of the MMC who is supportive and not negatively possessive. I also admire the way the author the themes of the book whether it was beautiful love or heart aching grief, the protagonists definitely raised the bars of expectations.
If you like desi second chance romance with an incredibly propulsive storyline then I highly recommend this book.

This book is all about trust,love & second chances in life . It starts with a lil bit of suspense and dwells further into the complex shades of Rudra and Swecha’s story. Firstly we’re only given the information about Swecha’s departure from Rudra’s life but the reason why she leaves is unknown. As Swecha tries to win Rudra’s trust back they’re faced with even more complexities of the past . The story focuses both on the past and present of their lives. Rudra was heartbroken after Swecha left him with no explanation he doesn’t know what made her take such a big step when everything was going well . But then we’re shown Swecha’s pov and how she was dealing with her own fears,a dark past and some misunderstandings that lead her to leave him when he needed her the most. As the story continues it reveals some major plot twists that I actually saw coming but the way it was presented is praiseworthy.Every girl deserves a husband like Rudra,the way he cares for her even when he was hurt by her actions and how he always supported her and gave her the space she needed truly won my heart.If you’re a fan of billionaire romance with a hint of drama and suspense then this book is a must read.

I connected with this book more than I expected because Swecha is literally me when it comes to trust issues and I do understand her behaviour and thoughts. My heart broke for her because of everything she went through. She is the bravest character in the book.
Rudra is a gentleman despite his few hurtful words and rudeness (that's understandable tbh). He is considerate, understanding, strong and the things he did to have Swecha back is chef's kiss. If there is one man I would actually like to have in real life from fictional world it would be Rudra because that man is ready to rewrite the whole story of them once again just so that he can earn her trust.
There are so many quotes and lessons in this book that are very close to my heart.
One of them is :
"Everyone believes I have trust issues. That I don't let people in easily. But no one knows why. No one sees the wound hidden beneath my strength, the scars left behind by the people I once trusted."
The story is heartwarming and very close to my heart. Just go for it.

I liked the Book a lot it's filled with emotions like love, betrayal, healing, and redemption. The story is about a resilient IAS officer Swecha and Rudra who's a business man, a billionaire and he is morally grey. They both get married and it's a marriage of convenience but what started as a convenience starts blooming into something beautiful, only to fall apart when Swecha leaves, vanishing from Rudra's life for two years.
Which indeed breaks Rudra he turns into someone unforgiving, ruthless, colder a man who doesn't trust people easily. When Swecha comes back and ask for forgiveness, Rudra is not ready to forgive her but he gives her a chance but on one condition she'll have to win back his forgiveness and for that she has to follow his rules. And Swecha is ready to anything for his forgiveness. But the question is can true love get a second chance.
This book is a slow burn romance which is layered with suspense, emotional conflicts and tension that will make you scream. I love the bond Swecha and Rudra's mom had, which was rare and refreshing to read.

This book is about Rudra and Swecha where she left her husband for two years and now came back to him to win his love back but he was not ready to accept her after suffering in pain for past two years.
The book showed how a right person and true love can get us out from our painful past and how second chance is always worth it with a right partner.
Though few scenes needed more details and description, there are few scenes I liked it for being innovative and new.
Overall, it's a decent book of second chance romance.

I finished this book in one sitting! Rudra & Swecha were amazing together! I loved how despite being hurt by her actions, Rudra could not see her in pain and melted so easily when he saw her tears. Swecha was also a strong character and I liked her resilience. The story was unputdownable and I enjoyed reading this book more than I thought I would! Cannot wait to see what's coming next by the author!

When I started reading this book, I was very skeptical, mainly because of the unsaid things between Rudra and Shwecha. Reading about their past helped me understand their perspective in a much better way.
I felt sorry for Shwecha from the very beginning for all the losses she had throughout her life. And then Rudra, I had this incling that there is more to this person. He was a gray character, something good and something bad in him. Yes he was being harsh at times, on himself and on Shwecha, but he was a green flag too! Oh the tension between the two of them was so intense, I loved it!
But you know what, everything happens for a reason. This book must be read with patience, because the climax was OH MY GOD - an eye opener. I literally had tears in my eyes. Reading this book will give many a lesson.
The writing style was good. The author did a commendable job in balancing the past and the present while narrating. The transition was smooth. I would love to explore more by this author.

For the starter, I chose this book as I like reading strong female characters and the Billionaire romance and seeing such dialogues.
"You broke me, Swecha. In ways you can't imagine. You shattered my trust and left me to pick up the pieces."
It is not always the author's portrayal of an inspiring and strong female lead, and I appreciate the author for that. Rudra, the businessman, the marally grey and billionaire, is the hero, and on the other hand, Swecha is the female protagonist who is an honest district collector. I like how they met. The storyline is about what goes wrong, so Rudra and Swecha have to go for a marriage of convenience and then slowly develop love, but again, suddenly things changed, and Swecha leaves him and the marriage.
Now she has come back after two years, but with what motive? Does she still love him? She is asking for forgiveness, but will he forgive her and give her a second chance?
In between all these rifts, Rdura's ex appears and tries hard to get him back in her life. Who will Rudra choose and will give a second chance? Swecha has her demons, and those demons are holding her back. Will she ever be able to overcome her demons and have faith in love that even after seeing Rudra with his ex?
**The story has suspense, thrill, action, romance, and many more elements. I like the way the story has been written. The only part where I feel the book needs a little attention with proofreading as some places, it has some small errors. Otherwise, some of the punch lines are heart-touching.**
